CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Satoko Houjou
Canon: Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni
Canon point: Just beginning her second year at St. Lucia’s for the first time.
Age: 16

History: Wiki page. (cw for animated blood/violence in the link)
Personality: Satoko is by nature an energetic, mischievous, and somewhat arrogant girl who has a penchant for setting and using traps on people. She’s cheerful, and this personality of hers makes people either perceive her as lovable or as a bit of a brat. She’s witty and clever, being generally extremely crafty, but struggles at school and in learning things she isn’t interested in. She is very loyal to the people she cares about and would do anything to protect them, but she also has a darker side to her – and she is willing to be vicious and ruthless to those who she hates. Underneath her happy exterior, however, Satoko is actually a very unstable person with a lot of trauma.

In terms of her motivations, strength is one of the things that Satoko values most, and one of her biggest motivations is to get stronger, in order to prevent herself from hurting the ones she cares about. When she was young, she was abused by her aunt, and would rely on her brother to protect her from the harshest parts of that abuse – but this took a toll on him, and he started to hate the fact that she was so dependent on him. When he disappeared, Satoko became convinced that it was her fault, and that he must’ve ran away because she was weak, with her continued dependence on him hurting him greatly.

Sometimes this motivation to become strong is good, as it gives her a goal to work towards, and it helps her cope with her trauma as she feels like there was a meaning to her suffering – that it was needed in order for her to learn how to be strong. However, she takes this desire to be strong to extremes. In the timelines when her uncle returned and began to abuse her again, Satoko refused to seek help, believing it would make her weak, and she tries to be independent even when she’s in situations where she can’t do things on her own – often ending in disaster.

Her other motivation is simply to live a happy life with her friends in Hinamizawa. However, she has abandonment issues as a result of her brother’s disappearance and the constant divorces and re-marriages of her mother that make this difficult. For example, Rika asked Satoko to come with her to a school named St. Lucia’s, Satoko agreed despite not really wanting to go, because she couldn’t bear the thought of being away from Rika. Then, as her friends started to drift away from her, she felt deeply hurt, and she grew bitter towards Rika in particular who she saw as having betrayed her.

Satoko sees the world as a cruel place, but one where she can be happy – as long as she has her friends by her side. She sees them as a family and is extremely dependent on them for her continued happiness and stability of mind. She is slow to trust strangers due to the ways that she has been hurt in the past, and while pre-canon and during most of Higurashi’s arcs she’s not okay with murder, this changes drastically when under the influence of Hinamizawa Syndrome and after she gains the ability to loop through time. She’s able to empathize with others and doesn’t generally like to hurt them, trying to live her life as someone who isn’t a burden on those she cares about - but she is willing to become vengeful when someone has angered her.

When under stress and when angry, Satoko is harsh and lashes out at those around her. She grows angry and desperate and is more likely to become violent – as her Hinamizawa Syndrome left her with permanent brain damage that means she’s more likely to have extreme responses to stress compared to other people. These responses include increased paranoia and increased levels of violent behaviour from Satoko.

Satoko perceives herself as someone who’s different from who she used to be. On the one hand, she sees herself as deserving of punishment for the way she was weak in the past, and this can be seen in the way that she takes the abuse of her uncle when he returns and begins to hurt her. On the other hand, she recognizes that she has changed, and is confident in her own abilities, managing to remain cheerful in spite of everything she has been through because of her friends and her determination to be strong.

Powers/abilities: Satoko is very skilled at creating traps, which she uses to great effect on other people – she’s seemingly able to trigger them out of nowhere and always seems to have one prepared, though this ability is by no means supernatural. She’s able to use the environment to her advantage and is good at analyzing people and predicting what they’ll do next.

She’s also reasonably physically fit and sporty, though she’s not an experienced fighter, and would likely be overpowered in a fight with adults if she didn’t have the ability to use her traps.

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
Ohohohoho! You want to know my strengths? Well, to start with I must say that I’m quite crafty. I’ll do whatever it takes to gain victory, and I don’t give up even when the cards are stacked against me. As for a third strength, well – I think I’m very independent, too.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
Other people? Hmm… I suppose they might see me as overconfident… It’s not like I underestimate others, but I have been known to get ahead of myself and assume my own success in certain situations before it’s guaranteed.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
My fears… I think the idea of having my friends taken away from me – that scares me more than anything. On top of that, the idea of finding my brother dead, or… having my uncle return… I want to believe that those things would never happen, but they’re quite frightening thoughts...

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
To be honest, I’m not quite sure. I wonder if they would allow me to cook something myself? I suspect they wouldn’t, but to be honest, I would likely just ask for my favourite meal. I suppose that’s the obvious answer, isn’t it?

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
Killed? Who do you take me for? I’ve never killed anyone in my life! [ ooc: this isn’t true - Satoko killed her own parents under the affects of Hinamizawa Syndrome, and this event was so traumatic to her that she repressed the memories of it completely. ]

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
I… can’t think of something that doesn’t affect others. My selfish wish… I think it would be for my brother to return to me. But that affects him, does it not? If not that, I think I would wish that I would never lose my friends and the people important to me.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Kai Hiwatari
Canon: Beyblade (anime adaption)
Canon point: Just after the end of season 1
Age: 12
History: Wiki page.

Personality: It’s not just Kai’s appearance that makes him stand out – his immediate personality is rather striking, too. He’s a blunt, quiet kid with a bit of an attitude problem, and he has no problem stating exactly what he thinks about any given person or situation, even if it’s rude to do so. He comes across as older to others than he actually is, and he’s normally rather cool-headed, able to think situations through and analyze what’s happening around him even in stressful situations.

Other people see him as strong and mysterious, as he doesn’t like to share much about himself or how he feels about others. However, those close to him also know that deep down, he’s a good person who’ll always step up to help them in their time of need. And he’s done this time and time again – often stepping in to protect his Beyblading team both physically or when they need help in a battle.

Kai doesn’t seem to care about people’s feelings at first glance, but despite appearances, he quickly grew attached to his team and often went out of his way to help them out – however, he’d never admit that he actually cared about them and would often make excuses for his actions. However, after his team saved him from drowning and accepted him back as one of them despite him having betrayed them for another team, he learned to accept and value their friendship, and became much more open about the fact that he considers them his friends.

Kai is also extremely prideful. He’s a strong Beyblader and he knows it, and one of his greatest motivations in the past has been to become the strongest Blader of all. For the longest time, he greatly valued strength and the idea of being better than other people, and he was willing to hurt other people and become a pawn to those who wanted to use him if it meant that he could become stronger. However, he’s since learned that power and victory isn’t the most important thing in the world, and his motivations have shifted to be more about protecting and fighting for his friends. He still has a competitive spirit, however, and immediately challenged his friend Takao to a beybattle after the championships were over.

Kai doesn’t see himself as a particularly good person, but he does see himself as both powerful and capable, though he does sometimes wonder if he’s deserving of the friendships that he’s gained with his team. Even after his character development, he’s still someone who’s naturally guarded and doesn’t tend to let people in, and he still doesn’t hesitate to be both blunt and rude with others.

He sees the world as a harsh place, one where it’s very easy to become hurt if you’re not strong enough, and while he has recently learned to value friendship, this perspective of his hasn’t changed. He has a lot of repressed trauma that he’s trying to work through as a result of his past, where he was emotionally abused and used by his grandfather, and treated like a child soldier by Borg in their attempts to rule the world through Beyblades, often exposed to horrific conditions and training from an early age.

Most of his goals revolve around Beyblading – and he wants to become a stronger Blader himself as well as helping his team to become stronger as well. Outside of Beyblading, he becomes more uncertain about what he wants to do with himself, as Beyblade has been such a defining part of his world for so long.

Powers/abilities: Kai is exceptionally physically fit and knows how to fight well as a result of his background, where he was trained from birth to be a merciless, powerful Blader and “soldier” for the organisation Borg. However, he’s also still a child, meaning that he could likely be overpowered by adults experienced in fighting, and his abilities are certainly nothing supernatural.

He’s also a world-class Beyblader, considered to be one of the strongest in the world.

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
My top three strengths? What an interesting question. …I’m a strong Blader, I never give up, and I’m able to think clearly about what’s needed in any situation. How about that?

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
…To be honest, I’m not really concerned with what others think of me. I suppose that most people see me as a cold person who doesn’t care about others… though my team would disagree. As for what they’d see as my weakness – I don’t know. I honestly think they look up to me a bit too much.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
…That’s none of your business. But if you have to know… I’d say that the thought of Borg and my grandfather coming back and gaining power over me is more… unsettling a thought than I want to admit. Then, there’s losing my friends… or becoming the person that I used to be again.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
What a morbid question. It doesn’t particularly matter, does it? I’ll just choose whatever’s on my mind at the time.

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
I… I don’t know. I don’t- remember killing anyone… but I know that… there may very well be people dead because of me. Back in the Abbey… The thought of it makes me feel sick. Can I really be forgiven for that?

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
Ha. Even now, I can tell deep down that I still want what I’ve always wanted – to become a stronger Blader. But… I don’t think that’s what I’d wish for anymore. There’s no point if I don’t achieve that strength myself, so I… I don’t know what I’d want.

Luminitrium | Meng Yao | Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation 2/2

[personal profile] filialdeception 2021-03-27 07:03 am (UTC)(link)
Personality:

Meng Yao is, for the most part, courteous. He endeavors to treat other people with the respect he wants to be treated and he's very, very eager to please. It's to the point that it's noticeable right from the start from those who interact with him. He's even had it viewed as a strong indication towards humility (Nie Mingjue for one telling him to stop being so humble and to stand firm/straight/tall like a man.)

It comes to no surprise that Meng Yao has, naturally, difficulty acting discourteous towards others from the onset of interaction. This remains true even when he's insulted, and for the most part he does his best to not become viciously impolite or easily riled up to anger. He succeeds almost all the time due to him growing up without much support after the loss of his mother, which has given him a strong nerves of steel. However, just because he doesn't become easily angered, hurt, foul-tempered, or the type of person to hurl insults back doesn't mean he can't.

Indeed, if someone does happen to anger Meng Yao enough, he can prove capable of shouting (as he does yell back to Nie Mingjue when he's criticized) or acting immensely passive aggressive. His brand of PA involves him mostly bringing up sore points or pointing out facts that are intended to hurt and/or make the target kindly shut it, as well as end the argument. This isn't limited to simple one-word sentences, but sometimes an elaborate exposition if he's feeling particularly riled up.

In general, Meng Yao is a private person who prefers not to tell many people his life story or involve others in his personal matters; especially problems and struggles. This is shown even earl on when he's working with the Nie Clan, and the only reason Nie Mingjue finds out is because he accidentally witnesses him being bullied. To make it even more incredible, instead of accepting the other intervening for him, Meng Yao ends up protesting it at first. After all, he doesn't want to become a burden to those he cares about or feels he's indebted to.

This, of course, also intersects with Meng Yao expecting little and hardly trusting most people. This is because of the judgment he's receive from strangers due to his upbringing and derision from his blood relatives. It also makes him more inclined to start betraying others for his own goals, believing it best he stands alone, and look out for mainly himself most of the time. If someone does happen to get on his good side or show kindness to him, however, he will try to 'spare' them from harm. Or rather, death.

Although it can be generally hard to obtain from Meng Yao as time goes on, he does feel a kinship towards those who treat him with kindness, and he will do his best to return that same kindness tenfold (like he does with Lan Xichen.) Even if he's not above lying to their faces, he truly cares about those he's managed to become close to since that can be literally counted on one hand. He also will tend to endure more from those he likes, even if it's abusive, up to the point of an attempt on his life or if they turn on him harshly to the point it's clear they had no regard for his life.

He's a masterful actor, capable of using his kindness and polite elements as a way to manipulate others into agreeing or listening to him. Though, he's not above using acting like a victim as a tactic, but that's because it's not a role he's unfamiliar with. In the end, he feels no regrets in weaponizing his weaknesses or strengths if it gets him what he wants.

At the end of the day, Meng Yao is who he is because he feels he has to have the personality he does to survive. Not to mention having to perform certain actions, which he expresses to Nie Mingjue when he's caught killing someone who treated him badly including to the point of taking credit for his efforts. Which of course leads to develop the tendency to desiring enough power which will allow him to rise high up in ranking so that no one will step or deride him ever again (though, he's certainly not even halfway towards his goal as of yet.)

Powers/abilities:

- Ability to use talismans with spiritual power.
- Can use spiritual power as a weapon (spiritual blasts), though it's rather weak.
- Can heal a little/send someone energy with spiritual power.
- Knows various, basic cultivation techniques (presumably including exorcising spirits and techniques above.)
- He has a blade called "Hensheng" that he can utilize it into a sharp, cutting whip with a bit of spiritual power.
- Perfect recall (not an ability per say he has photographic memory but figure I would list it here.)

Questions:

✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?

Eidetic memory, intelligence, and power of observation. The first of those he considers to be his absolute best strength, however.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?

His upbringing hands down. He's the son of a prostitute and gets judged a lot of this by others; it's to the point it's also the number one insult when someone has become really infuriated by him or wants to deride him viciously...

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?

Weakness, Dying, and eternal mockery for sure. Though, of the three dying was the greatest of them all.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?

A feast fit for a king. He figures he may as well go out having something crazy nice for once in his life.

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?

He has, definitely, due to the Sunshot Campaign. He's learned to become more ruthless because of it.

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?

To have more spiritual power. It'd help give him a leg up in future situations and he's always preferred to have more power in general.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Katsuki Bakugo
Canon: My Hero Academia
Canon point: Chapter 298
Age: 16
History: Here

Personality:
You know the rival character who's constantly at odds with the peaceful everyman hero of the story? That rival is Katsuki Bakugou. He's loud, rude, and generally explosive in temper and demeanour. He's constantly striving to be the best, and he's a perfectionist in the worst (or best) way, always moving forward and never giving up even when he honestly probably should. He's rarely shown not scowling or yelling, and when he does smile it tends to be a terrifying slasher grin because he's just That Way, apparently. When he was a little kid he had an innocent grin, but that grin hasn't been seen in years and Katsuki has settled into being a grouchy old man in his teenagerdom.

Despite being extremely antagonistic just in general even when he's in "neutral" mode, Katsuki isn't a bad person at his core. Yes, he bullied the main character in their childhood and yes, he is an asshole pretty regularly to everyone he knows, but Katsuki actually leans harder into the "his bark is worse than his bite" trope these days in the manga more than he doesn't and even during his bullying days he mostly bullied Deku verbally than anything else, with only one incident stepping over the line where he blew up Deku's notebook (in previous incidents he'd even returned the notebook to Deku unharmed after snatching it from his "friends" who snatched it from Deku first). While he is a dick to everyone, he appears to mostly be an extreme introvert who prefers not to hang around other people when he has the choice and who doesn't see any reason for social niceties at all ever. What friends he does gather tend to ignore his grumpiness and insults and just sort of laugh at him, and while he'll yell back at them he does just let them flit around him and hang off him with a sort of low-level grumbly sort of emotion.

Katsuki's never one to go easy on people in a fight or anything, but he yells at his classmates more often than he actually tries to physically assault them. And even if he bitches to hell and back about helping his idiot friends and classmates, Katsuki will actually almost always end up helping. He just has to be a melodramatic bitch about everything, because he's an emotionally stunted moron. He wants to be a hero more than anything else, and as a result he actually does want to help people out in his own brash kind of way, but he's...not great at making it obvious? During the license exam, when students are trying to gain their temporary hero licenses, they're put through their paces with a "rescue" scenario where a disaster has hit a city within a biodome and they have to handle the disaster and rescue all civilians. Katsuki fails the entire exam ONLY because of this portion, where he yells at every single civilian he saves and otherwise treats them rudely, snapping and growling as Kirishima and Kaminari continuously tried to run interference for him - despite Katsuki competently saving the civilians and acing all other portions of the exam. His bad attitude frequently and repeatedly gets him into shit, and as a result he's getting better but he still gets a pretty bad review pretty recently in the manga when everyone was practicing interview skills.

Thanks to character development he tries to go about his personal interactions more carefully now, to some degree - not all the time, and he's regularly a dick to specific people (Deku and Todoroki), but Katsuki is aware of his own shortcomings these days. When being made to care for a group of children, he tells a bully child that "If all you ever do is look down on people, you won't be able to recognize your own weaknesses." - while of course obviously speaking of himself. While Katsuki didn't realize that he had these weaknesses until he hit high school because he had been looking down on people all his life, he has come to realize what he was doing and how it made him weaker, and he has been working on recognizing his own shortcomings (while still being super confident about things). While Katsuki's attitude still sometimes comes off as villainous at first glance, he absolutely isn't a villain at all and has canonically very firmly refused an offer to join the villain side because he's already been won over by the way heroes are. Even though he's a dick, Katsuki has firm standards and morals, and he doesn't appreciate people trying to budge him outside of those zones.

Katsuki is also a very intelligent person despite the hair trigger temper and his tendency to overreact to everything. Katsuki, when he's calm, gives good and honest advice that's well-thought through and which usually helps those who have been lucky enough to earn it from him. He's also able to come up with regularly winning strategies in battle at the drop of a hat, relying on instinct and talent to finish things flawlessly. He's one of the top students in his class scholastically despite the way he looks like a thug, and it shows. Katsuki can occasionally show his more serious and mature side verbally as well so long as no one taps any of his many rage buttons. Even when he's being angry-grumpy, however, he can come off as more thoughtful than you'd think from the outset. When visiting the Todoroki family, for example, Katsuki yells a lot about how they should keep their private matters private, but he also loudly yells about cleaning up (he does most of it with Deku) and yell-compliments the cooking and so on and so forth.

When it comes to Katsuki's downsides, they are all pretty much centered on the same thing: his ridiculous temper and his superiority/inferiority complex. Despite having a huge ego and a lot of pride, Katsuki actually gets bent out of shape when he perceives people to be better than him, although he's getting vaguely better about this as the manga continues. His biggest problem with Deku has always been that he got it in his head that Deku thought he was "better" than Katsuki because Deku repeatedly tried to help him out - which never meant Deku thought he was weak (it was the opposite) but which the younger Katsuki took to be just that because people didn't actually usually offer him a hand up since he pretty much never needed one. Katsuki has a hard time being traditionally nice to people (he has rude bitch disease) and he isn't always the smoothest about teamwork - in-universe, he's pulled it off because he's always worked with people who put up with his bullshit. With strangers who don't Get him, it's harder.

Motivations? There's only one. To be a hero who always wins...so, the rest of his personality all falls into line with that. It's just that as he's grown up over the course of the series he has come to realize that the hero who always wins has to also be a hero who always saves. Win to save, save to win.
Powers/abilities:
EXPLOSION: Katsuki is from a canon where most people have a single superpower (called Quirks), and his allows him to secrete nitroglycerin-like sweat and detonate it at will from his hands to cause explosions. Basically...his hands are ticking time bombs (but he has control of them). The more he sweats, the more powerful he gets. Gross. It's worth noting his Quirk is very powerful and he's versatile in how he uses it - he can even basically "fly" with his Quirk powering blasts to keep him airborne, although it's not true flight it's just...being very acrobatic.

GENERAL: Katsuki's an athletic guy, and training to be a hero; he's above-average in fighting skills and strength. Beyond the obvious athletics ability and superpower, Katsuki is apparently an amazing chef and excellent at cleaning, and he's naturally talented at bookwork. He can also flawlessly play the drums. Katsuki's that character who just happens to be Good at a lot of bullshit, without seeming to try, although he puts in 1000% effort into anything he does. For fun: His official stats from the latest guidebook.
Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
Katsuki's intelligent, strong, and determined. He doesn't hold any illusions about any of the three and he definitely isn't humble about it - or wrong, actually. He's one of the most brilliant students in his class and easily one of the top powerhouses, and he gives the shounen protagonist a run for his money when it comes to determination power.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
HIS TEMPER takes slot one, far and away, because Katsuki is uhhhh very temperamental and a huge asshole even when he doesn't try to be. They'd also probably say he's full of himself (true, but the worst part here is it's justified because he's ridiculously good at everything he does except People) and that he's too proud (also true). Those closest to him would be able to point to his actual greatest weakness: he has a sort of warped view of the world and how people see him and he sees himself because of his inferiority/superiority complex. It's a problem, he's fixing it slowly in his shounen rival redemption arc.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
Katsuki doesn't like to admit to fears at all, but: being responsible for someone else's death/downfall or loss of power is up there now; being choked to death; losing his powers entirely. He would never admit to a single one of these easily if at all, because Katsuki doesn't like to acknowledge his weaknesses.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
Something extra spicy and prepared by himself. He wouldn't trust anyone else to make his last meal taste good enough. He wouldn't pick any particular food, though; he'd just go based on what he craved that day and cover it in spice.

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
Katsuki has not killed althhough he has threatened people with death a lot and once told his childhood friend to jump off a roof, but he's never actually wanted to really kill anyone because despite his everything he admires heroes and wants to become one. He even regrets the roof jumping comment now, and it has been part of how he's started to change himself by trying to become...less of an asshole, or at least more of a hero. In terms of how it would affect him, it would really depend on the circumstances. He's pragmatic enough to be able to rationalize taking down a villain, even if it would still probably make him sick the first time. If he had to kill to save someone, he would...but if the circumstances were more that it was an accident, or something he didn't decide, or something he was tricked into - it would fuck him up, but he would try to squash down that it fucked him up. He's not great at confronting his own emotions.

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
Difficult because he's very big on achieving things on his own so he wouldn't like picking a wish because he would see it as "cheating". So if he had to use it, he'd probably wish for something stupid that he wouldn't consider as a huge cheating issue, like a movie that he couldn't find anywhere or something.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Himeko Inaba
Canon: Kokoro Connect
Canon point: Post-series; specifically after the events of Precious Time
Age: 17
History: Here.

Personality:

Inaba Himeko presents herself as what seems to be the "cool beauty", defined by her friends as an intelligent young woman who is calm, cool and collected when it comes down to it and essentially has everything together. She winds up practically being the leader of the club in spite of being the vice president because of this. After all, she's the one that makes sure that things get done and is also the one who finds herself leading the group; she's the one who calls meetings and making sure that the others aren't doing stupid things and is the one who manages to plan out things down to the letter.

She is, however, at times, to play along with other people's jokes, being the "straight man" of the group; in fact, she even sometimes willing to mess around with people if it means that she can get a bit of entertainment out of it, although it's never outright malicious.

However, all of this is just a well-crafted façade that Inaba wears throughout the first two volumes in front of everyone so people can believe that she has everything together when she honestly... does not.

This all boils down to Inaba's main issue: she finds it difficult to trust other people at all. It doesn't just simply boil down to just strangers, however; this also includes friends and family, too. It's because of this mindset of hers that she winds up pushing other people aside, wearing that proverbial mask so others can't learn that she actually sees everyone as her 'enemy'.

She acts confident in front of others - which can come off as sometimes a little crass - in order to bury her weaknesses; the only exception being when she's purposely polite out of necessity.

Inaba's struggles to trust others boil down to the fact that she is a very logical person to the point where she analyzes things a bit too much. She's also rather pessimistic, given that she says outright that she sees a lot of outcomes negatively - to the point where she sees the world in shades of black and white morality; seeing herself as 'dark' while her friends are kind in spite of admitting that there's no way she could possibly confirm that her friends are actually good people, given her personality. She also tends to keep a lot of her thoughts to herself instead of sharing it with others unless she has to because she doesn't like having people see right through her.

In spite of her struggles to trust people, it doesn't necessarily mean that she doesn't want to - she actually admits that this is a part of her that she loathes and actively wants to change but has problems doing so, given that she believes this side of her is normal. Later on, she admits that she was wrong, learning that she needs to change and grow in order to improve herself.

She manages to gain the courage to open up to others in spite of her fear of being looked down upon and being hated - revealing that she actually cares a lot about how others perceive her as a person quite a lot. But how she gets this strength is through the support of the others around her, reassuring her that everything will be alright in spite of her anxieties and worries.

When it comes to love, Inaba soon finds herself leaning towards her emotions over logic - even to the point where she states that she's changed because of it. Her feelings are shown rather openly; with her overflowing emotions revealing just how much she cares to the point of worrying over them.

While Inaba herself might say that she's quite selfish, the opposite is actually true. She's selfless to the point where she puts others over herself and even calculates plans to help the group out. She believes that the bonds between her, her friends, and the person she loves the most are important to her to the point where she selfishly doesn't want them to separate; she'll even make an attempt to push things in a certain direction, trying her hardest to be the glue that keeps everyone together. However, even though there's a lot that she would do for her friends - and even more so for those that she loves, she's actually rather steadfast towards her ideals. She isn't willing to compromise on what she thinks is right just because she loves someone; something that shows time and again.

Most times, Inaba tends to do her best at keeping her composure but there are many times when she actually gets flustered, especially when the right buttons are pushed. Inaba herself isn't used to hearing genuine compliments - basically, she can toss compliments at other people but she doesn't take it all that easily.

Powers/abilities: Himeko is a normal human being, which means all of her skills are mundane. She's a rather talented analyst that tries to figure things out based on her own personal knowledge and logic of the world around her; it's how she managed to deal with a lot of the phenomena that were thrown at her. And it's also because of that she finds herself easily adapting to strange situations.

It's also canon that she's rather skilled with technology, knowing how to build a computer from scratch and even knowing how to program.

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
Heh... you really want to know? Well, I'm pretty good with computers and my analytical ability. But as for my third one - well... let's keep it a secret for now.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
"Greatest weakness", huh... why, exactly would I share that information with you? That's something that's meant for me to know and for you to never figure out. Simple as that.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
You really are trying to dig for crap, aren't you? You're not getting those answers out of me so easily. If you're trying to scare me, you'll have to try really hard to do that.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
Curry. It's Taichi's favorite, so naturally, I'd choose something that reminded me of him.

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
Of course I haven't killed anyone. Doing something like that... it's morally wrong. But I suppose if I had to - it'd have to be for a very good reason. how it'd affect me, though? I'm not entirely sure. I don't even want to even imagine it.

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
A selfish wish just for myself, huh... the most selfish wish would be to 'wish for more wishes', right? There's no rule that says I can't do that. Then I'd probably wish for money, maybe some computer parts... that'd be nice.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Shuichi Saihara
Canon: Dangan Ronpa V3
Canon point: End of chapter 5, post-trial.
Age: ~17
History: Available in detail on Wikipedia.

Personality:

(Preface Notes: This personality section does not get into the big plot twist of Chapter Six, nor into "pre-game" Shuichi who is almost a different person and only has one brief scene of canon content to begin with. This is because, at the current canon point he's taken from, Shuichi has zero knowledge or recollection of that and is 100% as outlined below. In case of an update later on, I'll address any topics as they become relevant at that time!)

- - -

As typical for most characters in the franchise, and especially so due to V3's specific twist, Shuichi's profile is highly defined by his Ultimate Talent and almost every aspect of him as a person is structured around it somehow. So, as the Ultimate Detective, he's in great part what you'd expect from the role: smart, observant, insightful and analytical, and with a strong capacity to remain objective and believe in evidence instead of drawing rash, emotional conclusions. Smaller details fit in with the image too, such as his love for mystery novels or the fact that he can display lowkey morbid interests at times (for example, when walking into a Victorian-styled room, his first thought was that Jack the Ripper lived in that era). Truth is very central to his character, and is featured as a major concept of the game itself, with it being a detective's job to bring it to light.

But that's where the surface stops.

Shuichi tends to be soft-spoken and reserved, in great part because he struggles constantly with self-doubt and a lack of confidence. He has a tendency to downplay his own qualities and accomplishments, even going so far as to point out he's still only an apprentice and not a "real" detective, and doesn't deserve his talent which was only given to him by chance after he "just happened" to solve a case. The case in question is also a lingering source of distress for him; as he reveals to Kaede in late Chapter One, it turned out that the murderer Shuichi discovered had acted for revenge, after the victim had led to the suicide of his family. In theory, the victim deserved what had happened to him, and yet Shuichi's reveal of the truth ended up convicting a man who had already been wronged in turn. He states he's unable to forget that man's eyes, which had been full of hate towards him for solving the case; he can't help but feel it might have been justified, and because of that he developed a fear of uncovering the truth -- a fear of the consequences and guilt that come with doing so, which he believes makes him a poor excuse for a detective.

Also as a result of the above, Shuichi originally wears a hat at the start of the game, which he uses to hide his face because he has trouble looking people in the eye. Following Kaede's death at the end of the first trial, he ends up discarding it and the loss of the hat becomes sort of a metaphor for Shuichi respecting her wish for him to be more confident, and his resolve to work hard while using his skills to get everyone out of the killing game. That said, however, this change is of course not immediate, and there are many aspects of it that also never get better, as it takes very little for Shuichi to get easily startled right back into his old self-doubting thinking and habits. This is especially true since, as the game continues, further killings happen and he's left with no choice but to uncover painful truths yet again in order to save the rest of the group. Shuichi becomes all too aware of how little use his talent can be until after a murder has occurred, as well as of how it kind of falls to him to doubt his friends.

There are key differences between him and previous protagonists in the series, with Kaede being closer in concept to them than Shuichi. Even from the start of the game, his resourcefulness can border a little on underhanded at times -- when he attempts to use tricks such as hidden cameras or small traps designed to reveal the mastermind. Later on, he's willing to tell lies in trials if it means they'll bring out the truth in the end, even if technically it's not playing fair. Shuichi finds these tactics valid to use against people who are also employing them, since it's only fair. One other example of differences is how, although generally practical and proactive about things like investigations and getting to the heart of matters, he lacks the optimism to drive himself forward and requires the support of other characters for that. Initially, that's Kaito looking out for him after Kaede's death, but later on others encourage him as well. Shuichi's own thinking, however, is actually quite negative by nature and even prone to actual spells of depression. After the outside world is revealed to supposedly be uninhabitable in Chapter Five, which means they don't have a place to go back to like they thought, Shuichi is so demoralized that he does nothing but sleep for two days and can't find the energy to even shower or eat or take care of himself, needing Maki to snap him out of that state and give him direction again. He also doesn't find it as easy to trust others, and tends to choose evidence over emotion no matter how much he might want to believe otherwise.

That said, Shuichi does want to believe in others at his core, even if this is partly inspired by people like Kaede or Kaito. He's shown to prefer it over cold suspicion, such as in the second trial where Maki's lack of an alibi comes into discussion, and he opts to side with Kaito on the matter as, since the evidence isn't conclusive one way or another, it's better to start from belief rather than doubt. So, if given the option, he does prefer to choose the kinder variant -- although in spite of this, he doesn't consider himself a very compassionate person and is shown to be surprised sometimes (such as in Himiko's free time events) when he finds himself empathizing. This might be because his main motivation is being fair rather than excessively nice; since he's perceptive and generally open-minded, it means he's very good at spotting good intentions even regardless of their actual results, and he tries to return them if possible. The things which make Shuichi angriest in the series are pointless cruelty and enjoying the suffering of others, which he answers in kind too. The words he says to Kokichi at the end of trial four (when the latter is pretending to do just that as part of his attempt to frame himself as the mastermind) are some of the harshest Shuichi has spoken in the entire game, only outclassed by what he later has to say to the mastermind herself during the final trial.

Although private, and shown on repeated occasions to like personal space and be wary and guarded about contact with people he doesn't feel close to, Shuichi is genuinely curious about others once the ice is broken, and takes his relationships to heart. He's easily fascinated by interesting topics, such as the unique particularities of what the others' talents entail, and is shown to always want to know more, sometimes even against his better judgement. His observant nature helps him work to find common ground even with the most eccentric or difficult characters, and he's good at noticing things about them that they didn't even express. That said, because he's so logical, Shuichi can't be easily lied to and needs things to make sense; if they don't, he has a tendency to nitpick at details and show skepticism. He's also not afraid to point out other people's flaws on occasion, such as how he doesn't allow Kaito to get away with baseless boasting, and speaks his mind rather more often than one would expect from his anxious demeanor. He's also expressed a need to feel helpful on multiple different occasions, and seems happy to be relied upon, or willing to put in effort if he can see the need for it; even if this sometimes marks him a pushover and in Chapter Four the rest of the group even labels him as a masochist, which seems to bother him. Over the course of the series, he becomes less guarded than he was at the start, and more firm in his beliefs, as well as more and more determined to stop looking away from the truth. In this manner, Shuichi grows from the "weak" character he was designed as, into someone capable of taking his life into his own hands -- which is also the very decision he makes at the end of the game.

Powers/abilities:

ULTIMATE DETECTIVE
The way Danganronpa works, every character has a specific "talent" -- which means in essence a skill or particular thing they're abnormally good at. Shuichi's title per his talent is Ultimate Detective, which means he's particularly good at investigation and mystery or puzzle-solving work. Due to the nature of V3's main plot twist, it's in the end unknown whether this talent is real in his case or just a fabrication designed for his "character" on a TV show via fake memories. However, it's shown to work as intended, and Shuichi proves himself smart, sharp, more observant than the average person, and good at making deductions that can lead him to figure out any given situation with enough clues and time.

Questions:

✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
This is the most difficult question someone could ever ask Shuichi, because most of the things he recognizes he's good at are also the same things that lead to his stress and hesitation. His talent is an obvious one, but at best he tends to dismiss it as just a title he doesn't deserve, and at worst he can be afraid to use it because of past experiences. Secondly, there's his ability to remain objective, which ends up hurting him instead when he has to make difficult choices (sometimes against less rational friends). And the last one would be that he's diligent and hard-working, but he himself described it more as "being good at boring work".

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
His insecurity and tendency to self-doubt. Both of the most important people to him in canon have told him he needs to be more confident and trust more in himself and his deductions, and he gets chided or bullied on occasion for similar reasons by the rest of the cast.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
His most notable one is that his detective work will only reveal painful or unfair truths that will only make him feel guilty, mirroring what already happened with his first case. Ironically though, he's also afraid of getting things wrong and of making mistakes, also because of how many things can depend on his deductions. Lastly, he suffers from impostor syndrome and seems to worry quite a bit about how others view him, especially when it comes to his skills. During trials in game, if the player chooses wrong, Shuichi is distressed because he thinks he'll be seen as a fraud by the others.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
He'd blank out when asked, settle for a cup of tea (or for someone else's suggestion) because nothing else comes to mind, and then wonder if that was too anti-climactic for the context. Maybe he should have thought harder about it, but... it's not like it matters anymore, right? So it's fine.

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
He hasn't killed anyone directly, but the entire context of his canon is high-schoolers forced to participate in a killing game. As the Ultimate Detective, it's mostly his work that leads to the culprits being discovered and executed, so Shuichi feels responsible for their deaths and is often bogged down by guilt over it. This is a sensitive topic to him, leaving him especially averse to people who treat the lives of others as unimportant. For example, he might be able to feel bad for the participants due to their extenuating circumstances, but he's unable to forgive the mastermind behind the game itself or the people who enjoyed watching it. He wouldn't kill someone of his own will, and if forced to he'd likely break down after.

(As an addendum: This is ironic considering pre-game, before the memory wipe, he seemed infatuated with the concept of a detective becoming the culprit and wanted to commit an unsolvable murder on the show. Shuichi at this canon point doesn't remember, but when that was revealed in Chapter 6, it absolutely horrified him as his current self.)

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
Nothing. Shuichi's cautious, suspicious, and no matter how strong his emotions might get, he always chooses with his head in the end. He'd find it difficult to trust there's no catch to an offer like that, and besides, he might also feel there's more value in achieving something himself by actually making effort for it. He's a stronger character than he looks.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Nagito Komaeda
Canon: Dangan Ronpa 2
Canon point: Post-game
Age: 22
History: Link

Personality:
Komaeda comes across as pretty normal before you get to know him. He goes out of his way to help Hinata get acquainted with the island and everyone else, provides encouragement, and tries his best to ensure his fellow classmates' comfort. Generally, he just wants to be useful to the people around him. At the same time he isn't above teasing others in a playful way, and he swings between being optimistic and pessimistic at the drop of a hat. As someone surrounded by talented people, he's also all too excited to learn more about them, whether it's from online searching or asking them to their face. Even Hinata, who can't remember his own talent, is so attuned to Hope's Peak Academy that it keeps Komaeda interested in him anyway, curious as to what his talent could be.

His guise of being a helpful and sincere student quickly dissipates the moment "Hope" is mentioned around him. His relationship with hope is pretty special, after all. To him, it's a powerful force of absolute good, represented by the talents of the Ultimate students at Hope's Peak Academy. His fixation on this idea of it causes him to appear as if he's discarded all rhyme or reason behind his actions because nothing matters to him more than witnessing and encouraging hope in others. When you don't understand his idea of hope and how it comes about, it makes it difficult to understand why he acts the way he does. So instead his behaviour — swirling eyes, drooling, holding himself, sudden changes in attitude and treatment of others, and moral flexibility that most wouldn't agree with — comes across as creepy and uncomfortable to those around him.

So why does he act like such a freak about hope? The way Komaeda's life up until now has been left him with no other choice. His luck is prone to drastic upswings and downward spirals that are extreme to the point of being beyond belief or comprehension to most people. For every bad thing that happened to him, he would be granted good luck of equal or (more often) greater value, but the reverse is also true. It isn't unusual for these instances of bad luck to be traumatic: kidnapping, terrorism, freak accidents and the deaths of loved ones are all fair game as consequences. Shortly before his admission to Hope's Peak Academy, a dream come true, Komaeda was diagnosed with stage 3 malignant lymphoma and frontotemporal dementia, having up to a year to live. But as grim as things get, it's okay because something even more hopeful will happen next right? By seeing things this way, by living with hope in his heart, Komaeda was able to accept the consequences of his talent. The problem is that there was nothing but hope there, because every time he had a chance at happiness as a result of his good luck, the subsequent bad luck would ensure that things precious to him were taken away. Hope for his future became a necessity for him, something that he's grown dependent on so that he doesn't fall into the despair that his bad luck would otherwise trap him in.

With Komaeda's life being this tumultuous, forming relationships with the people around him is no easy feat. The nature of his talent means that people will drop like flies around him if he happens to get too attached to them, so it's really better if he doesn't bother doing so. But even though he can't grow close to people, he can admire them, and he does — if they're fellow Ultimates. Their talents are the embodiment of hope in his eyes, and the people who have them are Symbols of Hope that he loves and believes in dearly. Compared to them, the untalented, and even those with lowly talents such as himself, are basically worms in the ground, only there to feed nutrients into the soil and allow the talented to bloom. Thinking like that, he speaks to the talentless critically and almost heartlessly — a stark contrast from the cheerful and encouraging way he responds to the talented. If his stratification between talented and untalented and the different ways he treats them wasn't bad enough, his dementia also causes him to appear detached emotionally and speak in ways that can easily offend others, further sabotaging any chance he may have at normal relationships.

So all of this ends up with people seeing Komaeda as creepy, a nuisance and a danger to everyone around him, including himself. While that is true, the way he views himself is different — he finds himself to be the foundation of hope, a person that will use their own life to ensure that the talented people around him grow strong and can acquire hope and defeat despair. As an Ultimate, he'll go above and beyond to ensure his ideals for hope are realized, even if he has to make their enemy of despair into a hurdle for everyone to work together and climb over. Overcoming any obstacle that bars its path will only serve to make it stronger, and in the end, it's the light of the very strongest hope that Komaeda wants to see. As long as they can overcome the obstructions in their way, they'll come to find that at the end of their long, perilous journey, that the light at the end is the prize that Komaeda has worked hard for them to meet: hope.
Powers/abilities: Ultimate Luck

Questions:
What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
Hope: because it's everything to Komaeda — the motivation that literally drives him through the entirety of his series. Talent: this is hope as well, but only the talented are capable of being symbols of hope. Komaeda has a talent, and that reflects the strength of his hope. Luck: even though Komaeda often dismisses its worth, he takes full advantage of his luck to make sure everything goes according to plan.
What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
He's unreliable. Due to Komaeda's outlook on hope and hardship as just another stepping stone, it's hard for the people around him to tell whether he's on "their side" or not. They can't trust him, so why would they want to keep him around? It's a problem that feeds into itself because he can't help anybody who doesn't trust him, and instead he ends up trying to throw a wrench into everyone's plans.
What are your character's three greatest fears?
Aircrafts: the airplane in his youth was hijacked, and a meteor rained down killing the assailants and his parents. Claustrophobia: he mentions that it'd be painful to be stuck inside of a ships cabin, and he was stuffed inside a bag when taken hostage as a child. Getting close to someone and bonding with them only for them to die inevitably in the end thanks to Komaeda's luck — feels self-explanatory.
What would your character choose for a last meal?
Komaeda's palate isn't as broad as his rich background would have you think — despite his sickly health, he'd simply ask for toast, or just bread.
Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
Not directly, but he doesn't mind trying! Komaeda's sees death as just another stepping stone for hope; even if he or anyone else dies, overcoming that hardship only serves to strengthen hope. Because of this, he doesn't mind killing or assisting in the murder of one of his fellow students, or even being a victim himself.
If your character was given one selfish wish, what would it be?
Just like Komaeda himself, as well as the nature of hope and despair, his wish has two opposing sides. Consciously, if he were to choose his wish, he would choose to become the Ultimate hope and be revered and respected for his accomplishment. Subconsciously, his true underlying wish is to escape the cycle of good and bad luck that his talent has trapped him in — to be normal. As much as Komaeda has an obsession with luck, with talent, with hope, it's a sense of acceptance that stems from the fact that they aren't things he can escape or live without. It's like Stockholm syndrome where his talent keeps him hostage.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Noah Ebalon
Canon: Elsword
Canon point: The tail end of Master Road
Age: 16
History: Noah hails from the once-successful and now long-dead House of Ebalon, a noble family whose sons were raised with the intent of becoming masters of the Moon Element. His elder brother Harque was meant to be the successor to the household, however, he was assassinated by a cult known by Henir's Order and disposed of while Noah was still a child due to his discovery of time magic; Noah having witnessed the assassination was forced into an amnesiac state. Harque was then impersonated by the Order, and due to Noah's amnesia, he was therefore raised in this cult setting and subject to human experimentation which resulted in his pupils turning white and his hair turning black (which turned to silver as he grew up). Eventually, a cult defector rescued Noah and gifted him the Moonstone, an invention by Harque with the ability to throw Noah into a different timeline should he die or be otherwise severely incapacitated. She had locked Noah in the Temple of Time where he would stay in a magical stasis for the next 500 years. Upon waking Noah discovered a sentient magic weapon, a sickle, named Clamor — similar to Noah, Clamor has ties to Henir's Order as he was a formerly-living half-elf who was sealed into a sickle by them. Noah and Clamor have been journeying together for roughly a year since then to try and prevent more people from being victimized by the cult. It was through this journey that Noah regained his lost memories as well.

Personality: Noah is a quiet, very socially-inept kid who is sort of the "lone wolf" type. He prefers not to talk to others and would prefer others leave him alone entirely in kind, although he will go out of his way to save people he views as being in danger and will confront people he views as being "wrong" without second thought. He can be the least bit reckless at times and, not being the wordiest kid, will absolutely attempt to brute-force his way out of a situation if he feels it calls for that. Despite being a loner, Noah actually does extremely poorly if left entirely alone and is prone to shut down due to anxiety if someone he trusts isn't around.

Noah considers himself an unlucky individual and may comment on that from time to time. He will stammer and freeze up when talking to others, and may at times be conniving in an attempt to hide personal information about himself (though he's not really as crafty as he thinks). Noah is primarily motivated by thoughts of revenge for Harque, as well as being motivated to "do the right thing" and protect others on the basis that everyone deserves to live unless they've committed some heinous crime. However, he absolutely despises cults for obvious reasons and will not hesitate to start a fight with a perceived cult member.

Powers/abilities:

  • Moonstone: As discussed above, the Moonstone can throw Noah into a different timeline/back in time if he finds himself on death's door. Due to the overpowered nature of this item, I would be absolutely fine if its ability didn't work at all within this setting, and it could be nothing more than a decorative object.
  • Clamor: Noah's weapon of choice and big brother figure is Clamor, a decorative sickle with the spirit of a half-elf sealed inside of it. Clamor is able to communicate with others besides Noah as well. Other than being a somewhat-sassy talking scythe, Clamor doesn't have specific powers beholden to him. Clamor has been "sealed" (effectively, shut down/unable to speak) multiple times in Noah's canon and I again would not be miffed if he were to be similarly sealed in the game's setting!
  • Shadow Manipulation: Noah's primary ability is to manipulate and shape shadows to his whims, primarily using them to hold, pierce, and silently attack enemies. He also tends to form the shadows into cats. These can either be combative or not.

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
His combative prowess, his moral compass, and his unwavering determination — stopping Henir's Order is always at the forefront of his mind, and he is rarely ever distracted from thoughts of ending them.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
He's far, far too anxious and reckless, and he's way too obsessed with vengeance to be healthy.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
Losing people close to him (these people are very few and far between), dying before he can fulfill his mission, and losing all of his memories again.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
Something that Harque would have liked to eat, which could be any number of things — perhaps something sweet but easy to make such as pancakes or a fruity dish, provided there are no peaches (he's allergic!).

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
Yes, Noah is somewhat of a combat veteran despite his age, although all he's killed has been Henir Mutants — people mutated by the Order who have lost all sense of self. The closest human person he got to killing would have been Titania, a member of the Order and the one responsible for creating the mutants in the first place, but Noah did not deal the finishing blow; as a last-ditch effort to kill Noah, a heavily-wounded Titania attempted to bring the building they were in down upon the both of them, but Noah managed to escape. She had also mutated herself at the time, so your mileage may vary on how "human" she was in the end. Regardless, Noah has never killed a sentient human person before, so doing so might make him feel the least bit sick to his stomach and add to his already extremely bad PTSD.

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
He would want to see Harque again, alive and well, just one last time.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Rika Kawai
Canon: Wonder Egg Priority
Canon point: Episode 10
Age: 15
History: Wiki page.

Personality: ( tw for mentions of self-harm. )
Blunt, shallow, mean - at first glance, Rika doesn't appear to be a particularly likeable character, her introduction into the series establishing her as a lecherous, greedy girl who only cares about looks and money. She seems to have no qualms using people for her own needs, talks nasty stuff about her dead friend, and admits that the only thing she cares about when looking for friends is their looks. She's extremely crude, falsely flirtatious, arrogant and judgemental. Of course, most of that is later proved to be wrong - because while she is definitely blunt, willing to touch upon uncomfortable topics others avoid, the cruelty in her words and her brash, uncaring behavior all make for a mask she hides her real self under. It's much easier to be a peppy mean girl than to expose what lays beneath - she dislikes talking about her problems, actively ignoring questions about her scars, hoping that not thinking about her current situation will somehow make it disappear.

Beneath the layers of a persona she'd established to fend people off, there's a sad, self-despising girl who struggles with feelings of guilt. As the other girls come to learn more about Rika, they call her a 'contrarian' - someone who says one thing but means another. Initially, Rika calls her dead friend fat, sweaty and ugly, provoking some negative feelings in Ai, another girl thrown into the egg world. Later, she explains Chiemi would come to her handshake events, back when she'd debuted as an underground junior idol - and that she'd line up for her over and over, spending large amounts of money for gifts. Rika says she'd thought she had a rich patron, but as it turns out, Chiemi was shoplifting in order to be able to afford pleasing her - and it's not something Rika wanted. In order to make her stop, Rika decides to tell her something cruel: that she's never going to be friends with a fan, and that she'd hate being seen with a fatty like her, hoping her words cut deep enough to make Chiemi rethink and leave Rika, as well as stealing, behind. Unfortunately, her mean jabs end up affecting the girl more than she'd expected, and after struggling with ED, she takes her own life, leaving Rika feeling guilty and responsible for her death.

Rika's home situation leaves a lot to be desired, too - her mom owns a bar that she often gets drunk at, and Rika's left to her own devices, having an absent dad and a less-than-stellar mother figure. Desperately, she wants to find her father, fully believing that they'd hit it off - and that her mother is keeping her away from him solely because she doesn't want Rika to be happy. Her father's words, and something that's been ingrained deep into her personality, are "A pretty girl doesn't need to carry a wallet; someone else will always pay for her." She seems to take that to heart, often seen asking others for money, calling people 'wallets', all while promising she'll pay them back - which she never does. Her struggle with mental health and self-harm seems to stem from her home situation, as well as the guilt that's built up over Chiemi's death; she claims that even if cutting makes her weak, that's just who she is, and she's going to live despite that.

Despite her initial introduction as someone unpleasant, she seems to bloom when she's around people she likes. We see a different side of her, once all the girls become friends - energetic, excitable, a little provocative; out of all the girls, she seems the fondest of talking about boys and possible romances, admitting that her 'future dream' is going overseas and marrying a hot foreigner. Once she can let her guard down, and allows herself to let people in, we see how easily she attaches to others, and how fiercely she cares about them. It's quite obvious she loves the other girls a lot, worrying for their well-being during their fights in the dream world; at some point, she even suggests abandoning their missions altogether, claiming that someone has to be the bad guy and point out they shouldn't risk their lives in order to bring people back.

In episode 7, we see a glimpse of what Rika really is: a girl desperate to be loved, cared for and saved, willing to follow any authoritative figure, wanting to get rid of all her negative feelings. The lack of a guiding figure in her life, and no role model to follow after is something she's struggling with constantly, at a loss once someone who can take control appears - she's shown to be easily swayed by other people's convictions, and the idea of letting go and allowing someone else to take the reins seems appealing at the time. She almost dies that day - but it's a necessary experience for her to realize that despite everything, she wants to keep on living as herself, even if it hurts.

Powers/abilities:
In real life, she's a normal girl - though due to her idol debut, we can assume she's at least pretty skilled at singing and dancing. In the dream world, where the girls have been given powers in order to defeat monsters, she dual wields two swords that resemble box cutters, presumably referencing her tendency to self-harm. While the heightened strength and agility only apply to the girls in the dream world, it's been called similar to "high altitude training" - meaning their bodies get stronger while they fight, though not by any supernatural amount.

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
She doesn't actually think of herself as a person with any particular strengths. If you were to ask her, she'd say her looks - she's super cute, after all, right? In reality, her determination and decisiveness are one of her strongest qualities, nothing able to stand in her way once she's decided on her goal.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
Others would probably say it's her bad attitude, and her lack of ability to be straightforward about her feelings. She's more likely to hurt other people than to be upfront about how she feels and what she wants - which is what's gotten her in the situation with Chiemi in the first place.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
Losing people precious to her is a big one. She shows great concern for the other Wonder Egg girls' lives, trying to convince them to stop fighting so they don't risk their lives. Being vulnerable and known seems to be a big issue for her, too; she tends to hide her real feelings behind mean words and actions, all to avoid showing other people weakness. Having no autonomy over herself and what happens to her - she wants independence from her mother rather desperately, claiming she doesn't want her to be happy, and there's fear of being stuck and unable to get out.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
Probably a cup of bubble tea, or whatever was trendy at the time. Yeah, she wouldn't overthink that one at all.

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
She's killed monsters before - creatures in the dream world that'd attack the girls she was protecting. However, even despite the fact that some of them spoke and resembled humans, she'd never kill in real life, despite having suicidal thoughts before. Other people's lives are precious, though - she gets upset when Neiru says she needs to cut a girl in a coma's life support. Depending on the situation, it'd probably affect her differently - either way, it'd be extremely negative, and I doubt she'd ever forgive herself for it.

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
To learn who her father is, and to possibly meet him.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Norton Campbell
Canon: Identity V
Canon point: 2+ years since arrival at Oletus Manor (After Ganji's arrival)
Age: 28
History: [wikia]

Personality:
The more effort, the more rewards?

The first and foremost thing that comes to mind when people think of Norton Campbell is that he's hard working. As long as can be remembered, he's always been "the first to go down into the mines and the last to leave it." He keeps a steadily growing collection of recommendation letters filled to the brim with glowing praise, and the only regret of any employer that's hired him is that they couldn't keep him longer. He has a strong sense of ambition that drives him and, even aside from being an ideal worker, one would think that he's an ideal citizen, too. After all, how else can one explain the way that he cares for the retired and homeless old miners who resided in the hospice, if not a sense of kindness? From this, one would think that Norton Campbell is a perfect gentleman, someone who would garner the respect of the whole town for his hard work and good deeds. Unfortunately, that isn't the case.

'Just what kind of heart lies hidden behind that face of yours;
sometimes gloomy, at other times glittering with a brilliant smile?'

The reality is that his hard work and good deeds aren't the only thing Norton is known for; he also has a reputation for "emotions as changeable as the weather." His moods are fickle, and his behaviour can even be unpredictable—one never knows what to expect when they approach him. While he's always had a capricious nature, it's only become worse since the incident that occurred in the mines. Already off-putting mood swings have become more extreme, and shifting from a sinking and gloomy depression to a fierce temperamental outburst isn't unheard of. Combine an unpredictable attitude with his extreme sense of ambition, bordering on avaricious at times, and it's easy to see how others were intimidated. Even since his arrival at Oletus Manor, others have been warned off of approaching him too easily, thanks to his being "unstable."

"...And just what are you trying to get from me with that, I wonder?"

Perhaps that's the reason why he has such a low-standing view of himself. When it comes to the praise showered on him through the official Twitter, his replies often reflect his disbelief. When shown one of his fans' collections of merch for him, he asks, "How do you deal with me being all over the place?" More notably, when one fan praises him for his good looks and charm, the gloomy reply he offers is: "There you go again, laying all those polite nothings on me… Charm, huh… If I had any of that, it must’ve been a long, long time ago…" As much as he works hard, as much as he does his best, the fact is that the people around him have never looked at him with real respect—employers wanted to profit off of him, and the townsfolk surrounding him have always been intimidated by his determined pursuit of success. While this leads to an inherent suspicion of the motives that others have when they show him kindness and a lack of belief in the sincerity of their words, he isn't heartless, so to speak. When rude, he'll generally apologize, he tries to treat people as well as they treat him, to return favours, and to be a good person—even if his motives for doing so aren't always so selfless.

But one thing never changed: he always sought out chances to change his fate.

After all, he does have a goal that he wants to achieve. Just once, he wants to live in comfort. He wants to experience the life that he feels he deserves. Norton's life so far has been pretty miserable, after all; in his recently revealed letter, he even says: "I lived like a rat in the gutter. [...] The constant scorn and ridicule... I endured it every time just so I'd get a chance to climb up the ladder." It's a hope that he clings to desperately, and he's resolved that he won't let anybody stand in the way of turning it into a reality.

As he said, "No life is more precious than others." After all he's been through and all the work he's put in, it's only fair that he should be rewarded—that's why Norton Campbell came to Oletus Manor. That's why he deserves the prize more than anyone.
Powers/abilities:
Magnet
Outdoor Skills
Disruption
Attraction
Questions:
What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
Efficient, because he's hard working and good at what he does. Persistent, because no matter how many times he gets knocked down, he'll always keep moving forward towards his goals. Determined, because he won't let an unfortunate lot in life define his future.
What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
His unpredictable nature. The kind of person that Norton really is—whether he's motivated by kindness, greed, or something else entirely—doesn't really matter, because people can't even begin to make a guess at it. Erratic changes in his behaviour make him hard to understand and unsettling to be around, so they can't bring themselves to bother to do so.
What are your character's three greatest fears?
He dreads the idea of living as nothing more than a rat in the gutter for the rest of his life. The incident that occurred at Golden Cave gave him severe claustrophobia and an intense fear of people dying around him while he alone survives again.
What would your character choose for a last meal?
Beef stew because it's hearty and filling and no empty stomach.
Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
No, he hasn't before—not directly, anyway. He would be willing to, though. If they really stood between him and his goals, which he's worked so hard for, which he's earned, which he deserves, he wouldn't let anyone stand in the way. He would likely feel very conflicted afterwards though, experiencing more extreme mood swings between what he deemed as the necessity of his actions and the weight of taking another's life.
If your character was given one selfish wish, what would it be?
Money. Money is the reason that he's always worked so hard. Money is the reason that he snuck into that mine and caused the collapse that only he survived. Money is the reason that he sought out Oletus manor. It's not unusual for Norton to make a selfish wish; if anything, he's earned that right by now.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Kiyotaka Ishimaru
Canon: Dangan Ronpa
Canon point: Chapter 3 of Dangan Ronpa (immediately post-death)
Age: 17 (physically 19)
History: Wiki

Personality:

Kiyitaka Ishimaru strives to be a model member of society. His talent relates to his work with his school's public morals committee, and he reflects that image very well. He is intensely devoted to following rules and to urging others to uphold the rules, to the point where others can find him to be pushy and annoying. He dedicates his free time to studying and expects the same of others as well. His devotion as a model student is so extreme that he wears school uniforms year-round! This has resulted in him having virtually no social life. He did not even understand how to make friends until Makoto Naegi helped him in that area during their free-time conversations. This helped Ishimaru to understand the value of fictional media like television shows and video games, because they were things to "study" in order to connect with others and form friendships. Aside from that, his main knowledge of forming friends has been rooted in the idea of "naked socializing", in which people form honest bonds with each other by bathing together in a public bathhouse. His upholding of such traditions can seem ridiculous or off-putting to others.

Although he can have a very stern and serious nature, he is still capable of being light-hearted. He can make jokes every now and then, especially when he feels that it can help with the morale of others. However, he can sometimes be tactless with his jokes, such as when he joked that it would be hard for Makoto to sleep with a dead body in his room if it had not been removed by Monokuma. In general, Ishimaru feels emotions in extremes. It is easy to bring him to tears - whether it is of anger, sorrow or joy. He's passionate enough that his mood can swing dramatically within moments.

Ishimaru is a firm believe in the power of hard work.He believes that anything is possible with the proper application of hard work. He wants to prove that hard work can overcome natural genius and to usher in a society that is a meritocracy. This is why he holds himself to high standards and can sometimes demand punishment for even minor mistakes. He also encourages everyone else to work as hard as he can and will those who pride themselves on natural genius. This is rooted in the life of his grandfather, Toranosuke Ishimaru. Toranosuke was a prodigy who became prime minister of Japan, but he was ultimately ruined by a scandal. Because everything came to him naturally, he had no idea how to deal with the scandal, and it caused him to lose everything and his family to fall into debt. Because of this, Kiyotaka strives to atone for his grandather's failure and to succeed with hard work alone.

Through his experiences with the killing game, Ishimaru has also undergone some changes in his perception and his behavior. This is rooted in the bond he forged with Mondo Owada. The two initially butted heads, due to Owada's position as the leader of a bike gang. But after they took on an endurance contest together in a hot spring, they ended up forging a bond of brotherhood and quickly became intensely close. This was to the point where Ishimaru refused to even entertain the idea that Mondo could commit murder, and he defended him more fiercely than Mondo did himself. In the aftermath of Mondo's executuon, Ishimaru's behavior went through two shifts. First, he became silent and withdrawn, in stark contrast to how lively he usually was. It was clear that he felt an tremendous guilt from Mondo's actions and because he was unable to intervene. Then Ishimaru received a pep talk from Alter Ego, a computer program that emulated the personality of deceased classmate Chihiro Fujisaki and briefly emulated Mondo as well. This caused Ishimaru to transform, as he believed that Mondo's spirit was in the laptop and had passed into him, thus making him Kiyondo/Ishida. As Kiyondo, he was energetic and talkative again, but he believed that he was being possessed by Mondo's spirit. Because of this, he acted tougher and more crass while still upholding some of his original traits such as being punctual. He also prioritized spending time with Alter Ego over anything else.

Now to elaborate on how I am approaching Ishimaru from this canon point in game! Ishimaru died from a blow to the head, and he reverted to his normal appearance with his death. In game, I am playing him as largely reverting back to his original disposition from before Mondo's death and trying not to dwell on the recent traumatic events. But this is not like a total reversion. He still has his depression, and he still believe that Mondo's spirit is within him, but he is trying to act like his usual self in spite of that, due to his hopes that he's finally escaped Hope's Peak and can put Bad Times behind him. His 'Kiyondo' self will still surface at some points, particularly at points when he's especially angry and stressed, until his character development reaches a point where he can let Mondo go.

Powers/abilities: Ishimaru is an ordinary human being! His talent is one that reflects his personality rather than any actual ability he has. It probably should be noted that he is physically fit, practices kendo and has taken part in heat endurance competitions. Also I'm not even sure what it counts as, but his hair randomly turns white when he is 'Kiyondo'.

Questions: may be written icly as the character or oocly as the player; please limit to maximum 5 sentences each
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
One would be his diligence in working hard and keeping up with his studies. Another would be his determination to keep trying until he solves a problem. His third strength would be his strong moral core, which he feels helps him to make the best decisions and provide guidance (or nagging) to others.
His diligence, determination and strong moral core!
✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
That he is so tightly wound and thus can easily be snapped. A strong runner-up would be how gullible he can be.
✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
He feels failure in general - failing as a student, as a model member of society, as a human being in general. He also fears being isolated, specifically in the way of being shunned by others. Those fears are fueled by what happened to his grandfather. He also fears death and losing others, driven by his experiences in the killing game.
✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
Rice balls alongside an assortment of vegetables and some green tea that he prepared himself. He hopes to make at least one of the rice balls star-shaped.
✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
No, he has not. If he did kill someone, he would be overwhelmed with guilt and grief and possibly broken. He might enter a state ot denial and rationalization in order to keep himself from breaking, similar to how he acted when Mondo was accused. Whenever he would come to accept it, he would then be extra-hard on himself and seek either punishment or atonement as those around him saw fit.
✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
That's a tricky one for Ishimaru, because prides himself on getting work done himself and so he does not want to give himself any unfair advantages. If pressed, he would probably wish to extend his lifespan, so that he could accomplish more within his lifetime and would not feel like he would be cheating in doing so.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Makoto Naegi
Canon: Dangan Ronpa
Canon point: Post-DR2 / Pre-DR3
Age: 18~20 ・ canon is never clear
History: Wiki

Personality:
If anyone has ever encountered Makoto on the streets, they'll be quick to notice that there's only one thing about him that really sticks out; that he's as average as anyone can get. His grades are average, he has no special skills, his interests are always the most popular thing around, he doesn't exceed in any sports, he doesn't really have any life goals, his personality is Mr. Nice Guy... There really is nothing that stands out, besides maybe how short he is (at 160 cm...). He truly is just another face in the crowd, and even he states himself that there's nothing very special about himself and that his only saving grace and redeeming trait is that he's “little more optimistic than most people”. However, as the game progresses and eventually finishes, it's clear that he doesn't give himself enough credit for all of his other notable characteristics.

As the game starts, it quickly becomes apparent that he's truly a kind person at heart. He attempts to make friends or at least be on friendly terms with others, even with the rudest students. While he does take care and watch his words a little more around students such as the Super High-School Level Wrestler and Super High-School Level Gang Leader, he still offers to lend a hand when needed and treats them with the same kindness he shows to others. Even with students with those kinds of titles, he doesn't stray away or keep his distance from them; he treats them like anyone else. This shows the best with how he was with Mukuro Ikusaba in Dangan Ronpa: If. It's revealed that he was the first one to ever smile at her at school while others were too concerned about their own safety to be around a Super High-School Level Soldier. He spends time with his classmates, and he's willing to listen to whatever might be on their minds, offering advice if asked. He's extremely understanding, and while he does sometimes judge someone, it's nothing enough to insult them. Think more of Phoenix Wright and his snarky remarks- just something funny without any kind of bitterness. Makoto's kindness sticks, and it's not very surprising that he's also a little passive. He's even called a “herbivore”, which is pretty much summed up as a passive man who waits and goes with the flow rather than initiating. Besides that, saying that he's a friend to all living things may not be too far off the mark, because not only does he like other people, but he also likes animals as well. Before the game has started, he once owned a dog as a child, became apart of the animal-rearing club in junior high, and even managing to capture a crane on school grounds to take back to the woods. Heck, when he's asked what his favourite animal is, one of his choices is a bear. Talk about someone who really likes a variety of animals.

Furthermore, as expected from someone as kind as Makoto, he's extremely trusting. Compared to Super Dangan Ronpa 2's main character, Hajime Hinata, their first thoughts after being told of the murder game are completely different. Makoto believes that no one will do such a thing, while Hajime actually wonders if someone really will. Makoto trusts his classmates to spend time with them after this, and even if he does take a self-defence weapon for himself at the insistence of Sayaka, he doesn't want to believe that someone would actually do something like murder another classmate. He also extends his trust enough to allow someone to keep on a lie, instead of exposing it, and to exchange rooms with someone. However, with this amount of trust, there's bound to be a downfall to it. One of the characters, Sayaka Maizono, clearly realizes this and uses him to her advantage. She twists his trust around to make him a good enough candidate to frame him for murder after easily convincing him to switch rooms for the night. While it's up to speculation whether Sayaka actually cared about Makoto or just used his kindness and trust against him, it's clear that Makoto is not a stranger to naïveté by trusting others so easily.

Unsurprisingly, Makoto isn't someone who pushes the blame onto someone or holds grudges, especially in a situation like the one he's put in. He doesn't suddenly start calling Leon a ruthless murderer or blame Kirigiri after his “execution” in chapter four. He never insults Sayaka after the first chapter nor does he angrily think of the murderers. Instead, he feels more sympathetic towards them as he feels that in a normal situation, they would never have done such a thing. He places the blame on Monobear, the one who gave them such strong motives and the push for everything to happen. He gives blame where it's deserved and not onto people who have been pushed into a corner and eventually bite back.

Despite all this kindness and trusting nature he has, this doesn't mean that he's incapable of getting angry and, rarely, downright furious. This is most commonly shown with Monobear. After Monobear attempts to shift the blame onto the students, and he just angrily remarks that only the bear is at fault. He also dislikes the idea of his every move being watched all the time, saying that it “sickens” him and if he wasn't bound by the rules, he would have probably tried to either cover up or even take down the cameras in his room. However, he keeps by the rules and tries to move on, despite how much it bothers him.

As the game progresses and the chapter begins its “abnormal days” and trials, it's revealed that Makoto can be quite perceptive at times. This isn't to say that he notices every single clue, as Kirigiri sometimes has to direct his attention to something, but he does find clues on his own at times and proves to have quite a good memory, even if he does need to jog it up a bit. This is best shown when he enters the school's morgue and he points out the number of lights for how many bodies are being stored. While he didn't expect this to be very relevant at the time, it turned out to be an extremely important clue, and he even manages to correctly recall how many lights there were. This makes him very useful during the investigations, and while he can be downright dense at times (for example, he doesn't even consider flipping 11037 upside down to make out the name of the murderer), he has a good enough memory and common sense to contribute and eventually, help him throughout the trials, even if he does need some hand-holding from Kirigiri.

Not only does his perceptiveness helps him during these cases, but he also shows that he's one of the few who doesn't actually jump to conclusions, which is one of the reasons why they've managed to find out the murderer at the end of every case. He'd rather not completely decide something when just one coincidental piece of evidence points its finger towards someone. He sorts out his thoughts and brings up counterarguments. He can tell when something doesn't add up, and he points out these contradictions. With Kirigiri backing him up, they normally find the contradictions in a case to help them lead to the right path to find out the truth.

Speaking about the truth, there's a reason why the creators named him Makoto. One of the meanings of his first name can be "truth" and Makoto is the kind of person who rather faces the truth over running away and hiding behind a lie. Near the ending of the game when it's revealed that there's nothing out there in the real world besides chaos, he refuses to stay in the school and ignore the world outside. He's ready to face the truth, no matter how hard it is. He's not ready to run away, and he'll put his feet down firmly to stand for it.

Finally, the last important characteristic about Makoto is the one that he mentioned himself: that he's 'a little more optimistic than most people' and what stems out of it. This shows throughout the whole game, and he's one of the few who manages to stay calm throughout. He believes that there'll be someone coming for them and that they'll manage to find a way out - a way that doesn't end with murdering someone else. He tries his best to think on the positive side and think better of people. With this optimism, this leads to hope, and it's the best thing about him. He never loses hope and makes sure he keeps sight of it. This is how he managed to get through the trials, even if it looked like they were hitting a dead end, and eventually, defeat the mastermind at the end of the game, battling his hope against the mastermind's despair, showing that hope overcomes despair. He even installs hope back into his remaining classmates' hearts, binding them together so they can finally put an end to this murderous game. While he originally thought his optimism and hope weren't such a big deal, it proved to be the most important thing about him. Because of it, he managed to make it throughout the game and lead his friends out. Eventually, this is why Kirigiri has deemed him to be more fitting to be Super High-School Level Hope. This is because he was the one who kept everyone together and helped lead them out of the school, back into their world and finally saying goodbye to the school behind them.

Despite thinking of himself as someone so ordinary and normal, he has proved that he's more than just that. Sure, he is pretty average when he's surrounded by such amazing people, but he's much more than that. He's kind and understanding, who trusts others a bit too easily for his own good, but most importantly, he's a person of hope.

    Super High-School Level Hope, indeed.
Powers/abilities:
Good Luck: For someone who was called the Super High School Level Good Luck student, it's not very hard to believe that Makoto possesses greater amounts of good luck than other people. He was originally chosen to attend Hope's Peak because he won a lottery, chosen out of all the other regular high school students in Japan, so it's undeniable that he's quite lucky. He has a tendency for having things working out in the end and being saved by the skin of his teeth, normally by being saved at the last minute by complete random chance (slipping and missing a wrench thrown at his head, narrowly avoiding his execution because of Alter Ego's return, a fire extinguisher going off and hitting Munakata so he can run away).

Bad Luck: ... Now, Makoto's good luck is often followed by an unbelievable string of bad luck. His bad luck has been described as so terrible that it affects the people around him (accidentally exposing the identity of a jewel thief, setting a mailman's bag on fire, knocking out a bus driver) and it's also unpredictable enough that Junko, the Super High School Level Analyst, can't anticipate what's going to happen with him (in fact, this is one of the main reasons why her entire plans come apart. Although this bad luck doesn't seem to have any real rhyme or reason, they sometimes translate into good luck for Makoto. He might have slipped onto a sheet of paper on the floor and fell pretty hard but he narrowly managed to avoid a flying wrench to the head instead. He might have also set that postman's bag of mail on fire but that fire destroyed the original Super High School Level Good Luck's acceptance letter and caused the school to do another draw, which resulted in his acceptance. His good luck and bad luck are pretty interchangeable and always accompany one another.
Questions:
What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
Naegi sees himself as a very average individual. He admits that there's nothing special about him, and he's too humble to accept titles. As a result, he'll say that his optimism is his only strength. He's just a little more positive thinking than others.

What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
He is extremely naive and way too trusting for his own good. He likes to believe the best in everyone, which is a bad idea when you're stuck in a murdergame. He often gets chastised for this way of thinking, but he refuses to change.

What are your character's three greatest fears?
Naegi fears the existence of another killing game. He likes to believe that no one would ever participate in one, but he understands why someone would give in. He's also afraid about losing his loved ones and seeing them get hurt.

What would your character choose for a last meal?
Curry, most likely, as it's his favourite meal.

Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
Naegi has never killed before and he firmly refuses to do so. Even if it'd result in his own death, he'll stand his ground and reject any motive.

If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
Naegi would struggle with thinking about a selfish wish because his biggest wish would be for his dead friends to come back to life or for the world to go back to normal. The most selfish version of his wish would be to see his murdered classmates one more time.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Nene Yashiro
Canon: Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun
Canon point: End of the Picture Perfect arc/Chapter 58
Age: 15
History: By all means, Nene Yashiro is an ordinary girl- or she was. When her best friend told her of a spirit haunting the girl's bathroom that grants wishes, Nene embarked on a mission to get her to help find love! Except the girl was a boy, and the boy was kind of useless until Nene got herself cursed in her impulsive consumption of a mermaid's scale- no defense here, but she thought it was a matchmaking item. In exchange for help with the curse, Nene now works for the bathroom spirit Hanako, and this means her duties lie in cleaning his domain, helping in restoring the balance between human and supernatural, and destroying the yorishiro of the School Mysteries when they go berserk to remove them from power and free them from the corruptive influence. Alongside Kou Minamoto, a young aspiring exorcist, she and Hanako try and protect both aspects of the school and help others. Otherwise, little is known about Nene's past before attending the school. She met and became bet friends with Aoi on the first day of middle school, and she's had several pet hamsters over the years, but otherwise we don't know. However, in her many adventures at Hanako's side, she's recently learned a rather horrifying fact: Nene is destined to die within one year. When Hanako himself tried to trap her in an ideal world within a painting to save her, Nene asked him to grant her wish to live at least 90 more years and in her earnest enthusiasm and desire to truly live, she managed to get through to him... But every wish will have it's price.

Personality: Nene Yashiro is an incredibly outgoing, earnest and kind young girl! She craves the approval of her peers- even briefly considering letting the mermaid's emissaries take her with the promises of popularity- and her compassion drives her to help all she comes across, regardless of status. She also desires love on many levels, but especially romantically, and has done many things in her chase for it. This includes normal things, like teaching herself how to cook, sew and garden, to selfish things like consuming the mermaid scale. She also loves plants and animals, and has raised multiple hamsters (including her current one, Black Canyon).

However, because of her recent changes in life, a lot of her classmates find her to be... well, really weird. She's constantly talking to air (Hanako and the mokke), running off and doing odd things, yelling out at random- not to mention she's clumsy, blindingly optimistic to the point of naivety, impulsive and comes on too strong- not to mention her fat ankles. This has lead to some insecurities in the girl- her greatest fears are heartbreak and loneliness, and she constantly dreams of looking prettier and being unbearably popular.

Powers/abilities: Nene has taught herself how to sew, cook and garden! She also has supernatural sight which lets her interact with ghosts, spirits, fae and yokai due to her unfortunate circumstances, and the mermaid's curse, which makes her grow scales when her skin contacts water and turn into a fish when she's fully submerged in water.

Questions:
What does your character consider to be their top three strengths? Her ability to learn new skills, her determination and her kindness!
What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness? Her impulsive recklessness, her naivety, her fat ankles and her gullibility. Even without how easy it is to trick her, her carefree attitude tends to anger more cynical characters.
What are your character's three greatest fears? Heartbreak, her friends turning on her, and being alone. These go hand in hand when her fear is used against her.
What would your character choose for a last meal? Oh, she'd struggle with this a lot! Does she go for a favorite? Does she go for something lavish and rare? Eventually she may settle on... a delicious bowl of ramen- maybe super fancy, but comforting and warm and perhaps just what's needed for the last step- and her favorite snack, strawberry mochi.
Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them? She has not- unless you consider the inevitable price of her wish to live longer to be murder on her part. But the guilt would tear her apart. She'd do anything to fix it.
If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be? She wants to be tall with slender legs and a nice bust, and glamorous popularity. EZ.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Ritsuka "Gudako" Fujimaru
Canon: Fate/Grand Order
Canon point: Post-Ooku Event
Age: 18
History: This summary covers everything up until the Final Singularity, but the wiki does not document Ritsuka's history past that point.

After resolving the seventh singularity in Ancient Mesopotamia, Chaldea finally moved against Solomon, tracking him down to his Grand Temple of Time, fighting through hordes of infinitely regenerating Demon God Pillars with the help of the people Ritsuka had bonded with throughout the singularities, and eventually unmasking Solomon to reveal his true form: Goetia, Beast I and the collective will of the Demon God Pillars. With the combined sacrifices of Mash and Dr. Roman, who was the real Solomon, Ritsuka killed a depowered Goetia herself with the Around Round Shield twice and was rescued by a revived Mash, who Beast IV, aka Fou or Cath Palug, traded his sentience and power to resurrect.

Following the Human Order Incineration Incident, it was found that at least four Demon God Pillars escaped the Temple of Time before Goetia's defeat, and the Remnant Order was established to hunt them down across the four Singularities they created (along the way, Ritsuka was briefly pulled into an alternate world to aid the Counter Force alongside her acquaintance, Miyamoto Musashi). When Ritsuka's Servants were unsummoned and control of Chaldea handed over to its new director, Goredolf Musik, the forces of the Crypters—the seven original masters meant to tackle Singularity F that were recruited by the Foreign God and make way for a new Age of Gods—attacked Chaldea, forcing Ritsuka and the remaining Chaldea forces to flee in an Imaginary Numbers Space vehicle called the Shadow Border as the Crypters killed all of humanity and bleached the planet's surface.

The Shadow Border resurfaced in an area known as the Russian Lostbelt, a space where an alternate dead end history supplants Earth's real chronology around a massive alien Tree of Fantasy, and Ritsuka discovered that in order to save Proper Human History, she would need to cut down each Tree of Fantasy and destroy the worlds that they brought into existence with them. With the help of her servants and the rest of Chaldea, Ritsuka first cut down the Russian Tree of Fantasy, cut down the Scandinavian one while following a mysterious distress signal, and found the last bastion of humanity in the aptly-named Wandering Sea magecraft base, where she recuperated for a time while resummoning the rest of her servants. However, Tamamo Vitch aka Koyanskaya, an agent of the Foreign God, botched a poisoning attempt that still threatened Ritsuka's life, and so she was forced to immediately set out to the Chinese Lostbelt to find a cure, where she cut the tree down and began orienteering towards the Indian Lostbelt after dealing with the threat of a new Beast in the Tokugawa Singularity.

This is all ten sentences, and I am so, so sorry for her canon being so complex.

Personality: Rituska Fujimaru is extraordinary because, despite everything that's happened to her, she has remained (mostly) ordinary. Throughout all of her trials across space, time, and places without either of those, she remains the person whose only impulse when trapped in a collapsing room was to hold the hand of a dying girl while the flames ate everything around them.

If you ignore her many scars (which she usually hides with makeup anyways) Ritsuka is the picture of an average teenager. Cheerful, friendly, flippant, and a fan of manga and anime. The strange thing is that unless the situation becomes unwinnably dire, this attitude never fades; and even then Ritsuka remains nigh-unflappable until something pushes her to the emotional brink, her usual lackadaisical attitude replaced by a quiet, steady seriousness and a determination of steel to keep fighting until the end. This isn't to say that she's incapable of fear—far from it, really. It's just that somehow, through a will of her own and a veritable conga line of traumatic events, she has the ability to push past it while very rarely letting it overcome her entirely.

Likewise, Ritsuka thinks of herself as a fundamentally ordinary person with nothing special about her other than being at the right place at the right time. As far as she's concerned, she's nowhere near special or even competent; she's just supported by the most extraordinary people (and that word is quite limber considering how far she stretches the definition) in, outside, and around human history. Ritsuka's perception of herself is deeply skewed by the company she keeps; while by all accounts she's a fast thinker, athletic, and strong-willed, her only real option is to compare herself to the most powerful beings in the cosmos in all respects, so she has a tendency to downplay her own achievements and abilities. However, Ritsuka still views herself as an important person by necessity. If she steps down or gives up or dies, who else will do her job? The unfortunate answer is that nobody else alive is capable of doing what she does due to the sheer coincidence of where she was when the command room exploded; Ritsuka Fujimaru is humanity's last Master, and the only reason she's still standing is luck.

Part of the reason why Ritsuka has survived so long despite her ordinaryness and squishiness is that her primary philosophy is "roll with it." If someone offers her help, no matter how fishy it seems, she'll take it. If something outside of her comprehension unfolds before her eyes, she won't waste any time wondering "why" or "how" and will move on according to the situation—which often involves running and the occasional quippy comment. While this attitude has rendered her vulnerable to mental suggestion and manipulation and makes her a rather reactive person, it's helped her far more often than it's hurt. This "roll with it" attitude also extends to how she sees the various beings she meets: if it acts like a person and talks like a person, to Ritsuka Fujimaru, it is a person, no matter how little they may fit the definition otherwise. This means that Ritsuka shows at least basic human kindness and cares for almost everything that she meets, no matter how illogical it may seem—while she's hardly a sweetheart unless she's talking to Mash or someone who's sweet to her, she still cares for everything and anyone who she thinks deserves it. "Rolling with it" also implies forward momentum, which she has in spades. Almost nothing can stop her, not even overwhelming grief and despair at losing the entire world and the only home she's known for two years, as long as she even has the slightest will to keep going.

But beneath this bleeding heart is a single, powerful urge that drives all of Ritsuka's actions: the instinct to survive, no matter what. At the end of the world, beyond time and space, when a full-blown Beast and Evil of Humanity who had just obliterated two of her closest allies asked what motivated Ritsuka to drive him into a corner, she only had one thing to say: she wanted to survive, no matter what. While saving the world is nice, and saving her friends even better, Ritsuka is motivated by survival first and foremost. This is the reason why she's willing to tear down the Lostbelts and all the people within them; if Proper Human History vanishes, so does she. What's more, she has a sense of duty to everyone who's brought her all this way and died for it, she has to carry that weight along with her—and she's likewise keenly aware that all of the people she's willing to erase have their own need to survive. Even though it would be leagues easier to never interact with the locals of the Lostbelts, Ritsuka still takes the time to get to know them, help them, and even save them, because she feels that if she doesn't carry the weight of their memories forward into the future, she'll be betraying them somehow and become the kind of monster she's been fighting this whole time.

Powers/abilities: Ritsuka's only supernatural ability lies in her magic circuits, a special organ mages possess that channels their mana into magic. She was unaware that her circuits even existed before she joined Chaldea, and they've been compared to that of Lord El Melloi II/Waver Velvet's, i.e. of just enough quantity and quality to perform basic spells but not much more than that. She hasn't had the time to learn much magecraft or magecraft theory, either, although she can cast a basic Gandr spell and, of course, make contracts with Servants.

Beyond her pathetic magic ability, Ritsuka is fairly—although not extraordinarily—athletic, and is shown to be able to fight off a human Roman soldier in one of the anime adaptations. (Of course, she's very, very good at running.) She's also quite hardy and able to take quite a few mundane hits, and even survive injuries from bullets. Ritsuka also has solid survival skills due to spending not-insignificant amounts of time roughing it in the wilderness in singularities the past two years, and she has a wide pool of knowledge that primarily contains tidbits of trivia that she's learned from her Servants and her time living in history. If you have a problem, there's a chance that Ritsuka will at least know something that might be able to help due to the sheer amount of trivia, miscellaneous skills, and life experiences that are rattling around inside her skull.

Also, she knows high-level ninjutsu like log replacement. Thanks, Kotarou.

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
I know this doesn't sound very impressive, but running, surviving, and rolling with the punches. Those might not seem like much, but when you're in situations like the ones I've lived through these past two years, any skill under the banner of "not dying" is really helpful.
✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
Being weak. That seems smarmy, but it's the truth. A lot of people think I'm really weak physically, mentally, magically, and honestly they're not wrong. But even though they're not technically underestimating me, I have a tendency to exceed expectations anyways just because of the friends I have.
✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
Dying is the biggest, obviously, but other than that... letting everybody down, I think, especially Roman and the old Da Vinci, and... ha. The lahmu. I still have nightmares of those things more than a year later.
✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
Anything made by the Chaldea Kitchen Team, no contest. Literally history's best cooks and I refuse to believe otherwise.
✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
...Everyone can quibble about how it isn't really my fault, but I know for a fact that if I gave anybody the order to just back down and walk away, those Lostbelts would still be standing; so yeah, I've killed a lot of people even if I didn't put a knife in their guts myself. It's sorta like what Jeanne talks about. I led them into battle, so all of the blood that's on their hands is on mine too.

I try not to think about it too much, but I need to carry that weight with me, or else... I'm afraid that I'd turn into a monster.
✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
One more week on regular Earth. No singularity, no Lostbelts, just me in a normal world. Is that not selfish enough? I mean, it'll need to end so I can fix everything back in reality, but... going back home would be nice.

Sample: Gudako gets repeatedly punked by a mystery student and is pretty okay with it, actually.

Notes: It'd be rad if there were any events that dealt with Ritsuka's massive (as in around ten million or more, if you count cutting down all the Lostbelts like she does) bodycount, or anything that'll let other people revisit her memories for a real wild ride.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Stephanie Meanswell
Canon: Lazytown
Canon point: Post-Mystery of the Pyramid
Age: 10
History: link

Personality:

Stephanie is marked by her confidence and optimism. She has complete confidence in her optimism: When those around her have given up, and even when she herself finds it tempting, she remains convinced that there will always be a way out. She has a tendency to try to see the best in people, but has a healthy suspicion of those who have treated her poorly in the past. (She generally susses out Robbie pretty quickly when he's not in disguise. It's just when he is in disguise that everyone becomes all, "Ah, yes, that's a dinosaur. This is normal.")

More than anything, Stephanie wants to help those around her; she's a superhero in training, after all. Her determination to help can sometimes become overbearing, especially if the helped person doesn't actually want helping. She has some busybody tendencies, and can be a bit nosy, spying and listening in on people. Her relative maturity means she's generally the leader in her group of friends (if not her entire town), often acting as mediator and spokesman. She's also pretty handy as back-up rescuer for her accident-prone town; she's quick on her feet, and good at problem solving. She is assertive, and used to even adults taking what she says into consideration.

Stephanie likes structure in life, to follow recipes and play games by rules. She's a fastidious journaler, and writes down everything that happens to her in exacting detail. However, she also has a rule that she only writes down nice things; annoyances and irritations still exist, but they have no place in her chronicles. Her compassionate nature means she's also a bit sensitive, and she takes what others say to her, or about her, to heart.

Also, she sings. A lot. About everything. And every song has a dance. That counts as an integral part of her personality.

Powers/abilities: Has all the athletic prowess of a preteen gymnast.

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
Stephanie would never say what her actual strengths are (compassion, intelligence, determination), because she is a child and thus not entirely self-aware at this point. If asked, she would say she's a good singer, a very good dancer, and a very, very good friend.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
She is frightfully stubborn. She's a bit like a dog with a bone; once she has her mind set on something, it's impossible to budge her attentions. This is fine when it's applied to, say, dancing, or building a treehouse, but it becomes less fine when it's her deciding she knows what's best for someone else's life.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
Being left behind by her friends. This is related to a generally fear of abandonment; she has a very low tolerance for loneliness, and becomes distressed enough when her friends are mad at her that it pings a magic item specifically designed to notify about danger.

Also, heights. Not great with heights.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
She would like to think it'd be something healthy, but it would definitely be an entire cake with strawberries on it.

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
Yes, Stephanie has taken several lives in the heat of battle - ahaha, no, she is baby. She hasn’t even seen a dead person before; she lives the sort of idyll where mortality isn’t even a presence in her mind. She wouldn’t be able to forgive herself if she hurt someone by accident; if her actions actively led to the death of another, even if in self-defense, she'd never really get over it.

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
To actually be accepted into a prestigious dancing academy, allowing her to pursue her dream of being a famous dancer. (She could wish to just be a famous dancer, but she knows she'd appreciate it less if she doesn't have to actually work for it.)

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Miyuki Shirogane
Canon: Kaguya-sama: Love is War
Canon point: Anime, Season 2 Episode 12
Age: 17
History: Right here!

Personality: From the outside, Miyuki is held with reverance amongst his classmates for his standing as the President of Shuchiin's Student Council as well as his consistent dominance atop the second years in exams. In terms of studying and hard work, Miyuki could certainly be described as unparallelled. During his second year, he has yet to fall from the top of the class and takes his studies seriously.

Most of that is due to the reason he's at Shuchiin: through a scholarship acquired due to his grades. He's seen as an 'impure' student, one who had transferred in as opposed to being at the school since Elementary. Thus he works hard at keeping himself afloat at school... and at home as well. The Shirogane family doesn't have much to their name, and Miyuki himself winds up working part time constantly in addition to his duties as a student, and as the StuCo President. In general, he's used to overworking himself and that only adds to his image; sleep-deprived and intense.

Of course, that's his image. Something that Miyuki strives to keep together.

The truth is that Miyuki's ego is fragile and he puts a lot of stock into what others think about him. If he shows any type of weakness or reveals that he's not good at something, he attempts to work extra hard to reverse it so his social standing isn't effected by it. This is seen with his many, many study sessions with Chika Fujiwara, where he reveals that he's absolutely god awful at coordinating in general; from volleyball to singing, to gutting a fish to rapping. He's always willing to put in the extra effort to get good at something, but the fact of the matter is that it always comes from needing to keep his image as pristine as possible. To him, looking stupid, or "cute" to Kaguya, may in fact actually cause him to have a mild breakdown.

This leads to him of course, overanalyzing quite a bit when it comes to his daily dealings with Kaguya. He's utterly convinced that he'll be trapped on occasion into confessing to her or coming across as cute, that he tries himself to be one step ahead to the point where he'd completely and utterly miss the point. It again, ties back into him wanting to keep his standing intact, but is something that slowly but surely, he does get himself out of. After all, he's very close to getting to the point where he'd be fine with confessing to her due to him running out of enough time to spend with her. There's less of a battle going on right now, than it is him making the best attempt to express himself.

Truth be told, Miyuki's got two sides to him. One comes through with said dealings with Kaguya. He can be very calculating and cold from time to time, volleying back any type of advance Kaguya may make back towards her. This is mostly seen when Kaguya attempts to trap him by acting nonplussed by a love letter, reflected once Kaguya answers that it'd be possible for her to cancel a date if a certain someon else were to ask her out as well. He's quick to dismiss her attempt at stating it was 'true love' with a smirk on his face. He can be a very, very shallow and petty person, eager to explode with joy once he's gotten ahead in some form or fashion, loudly celebrating for instance at besting Kaguya in the exams yet again. In a sense, he can be fairly self-serving when it comes to achieving goals related to his work.

On the other, Miyuki's always had a sense of kindness to him. He's always eager to help someone out, even if it's to his detriment. The strongest example would be during the Student Council Elections, where he helped his opponent open up after she came down with stage fright-- and then wound up enlisting her into the Student Council itself. Part of that image he strives so hard to maintain is him working to keep the school running, even at his own expense. In recent chapters, this is highlighted through him overworking to make sure the culture festival is a success, so that everyone else can have a good time. In essence, he's always doing his best to help out others, even if it comes at a price to himself.

Altogether, Miyuki's mostly obsessed with his own image, and even if he has his own phobias and flaws, he constantly attempts to hide them completely and attempts to continue giving off that aura of the hard working intelligent President, even if he can be quite dull when it comes to romance and is fairly inept at common things. It just won't stop him from giving his all.
Powers/abilities: None.

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
If asked, Miyuki would think that his strengths are his intelligence, his hardworking nature, and his tenacity. They generally all come to a head with his academics, needing to be at the top to match up against Kaguya, as well as live up to his reputation as the student council president. He'd consider him working so hard and not giving up at any cost a plus, because it makes him look like with a little hard work, he can do anything.
✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
Something that the same may consider one of his best traits, his kindness. Shuchiin is a school for elites, and some of the students could be particularly cutthroat in how they and their family conduct business. On the other hand, someone may be in direct competition with Miyuki and he'd just barely come through because he decided to help someone else. It may in that case, be easy for someone to trick him or take advantage of him if he doesn't see through them.
✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
Being unable to live up to his own expectations, instilled into him by assorted memories of his mother and through his desire to be someone who can stand on equal ground with Kaguya. It forces him to work harder and he hates the idea of being unable to live up to that. In the same way, he's afraid of being seen as someone who doesn't deserve to be where he is. He felt that pressure when he had first transferred into Shuchiin, as someone who had transferred in and hadn't been attending the academy since primary school. Lastly, at this point in time, he's terrified that Kaguya will see the worst side of him: poor, uncoordinated, and to himself, struggling to keep himself presentable.
✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
Something simple, like a typical bento with sausages and miso soup.
✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
It would eat him up until the end of time. Regardless of the reason, he wouldn't be able to deal with being a murderer of any kind and would probably never get over it.
✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
To be who he envisions himself as. Someone that can flawlessly measure up to Kaguya Shinomiya, who doesn't have to try so hard to be good at anything, and can easily juggle all of his responsibilities without fail.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Kokichi Ouma
Canon: Danganronpa v3
Canon point: Post-death (mid chapter 5)
Age: 16-17ish
History: wiki ahoy

Personality:
Kokichi is a little shit. That's all you need to know.

Okay, for real though:

Kokichi Ouma is a difficult character to pin down, and that's just the way he likes it. Self-identifying as a liar, he personifies the boy who cried wolf; even when he tells the truth, people tend to be doubtful. He lies constantly and oftentimes admits to it immediately. His honest moments are frequently made to sound like more lies. God forbid your life depends on understanding him, because he won't make that shit easy even in the direst of situations, and shit was pretty damn dire in the killing game he's coming from.

His title is the Ultimate Supreme Leader, and though even the other Ultimate students regard that with skepticism, it's actually legitimate and he has the skills to prove it. He's good at reading people and manipulating them to his own ends. Insanely smart, Kokichi is constantly ten steps ahead of even the Ultimate Detective in solving all the mysteries of the killing game. He thinks long term and always plans for the worst to a frankly insane degree – preparing hundreds of childish drawings so he can disguise the plans for the tools he designs among them, or writing a whole book's worth of a script for a classmate to use to impersonate him during a trial. However, he doesn't trust easily and he's more likely to use that big brain to fuck with everyone than he is to make anyone's life easier. He'll play the role of the villain if it accomplishes his goals, and if it means everyone hates him then so be it.

The thing is, he isn't a bad guy. His methods are definitely questionable, and he's an asshole even in his best moments, but ultimately he doesn't actually want to hurt anyone. He talks a big game about being soooo evil, but the organization he commands is a harmless group of literal clowns causing mischief for shits and giggles and specifically only engaging in petty, nonviolent crime. He loves his gang like family and he does seem to genuinely like most of his classmates even if he gives them all a hard time endlessly. He offers his support in strange, indirect ways, like subtly guiding others to the right answer during trials or expressing affection that he knows will be interpreted as more lies. It's hard to say for sure what his true feelings on any subject are – and that seems very intentional, as he uses his constant lying as a sort of safeguard to hide his real feelings and intentions – but he claims at one point to actually be a pacifist and that he prefers peace and solving conflict with games.

In less dire circumstances, he's mischievous and likes playing the villain in a more cartoonishly harmless sense. He still lies constantly and teases everyone and creates chaos, but he isn't malicious. His jokes and teasing can be pretty mean-spirited, especially when he's genuinely annoyed with someone, but they're just as often harmless or tailored to the individual – for instance, he's especially harsh and vulgar to Miu, but she's brash and vulgar herself and seems to enjoy the abuse anyway. Overall, he just likes to cause trouble. He's dramatic and expressive and childish and to some degree seems genuine about it, loving games and thinking it's good to be a little immature. He seems to genuinely enjoy being difficult to understand and he's delighted when someone tries anyway. Everything is a game of cat and mouse to him and he loves being chased, whether literally or figuratively.

On the negative end of things, he's kind of an asshat. He's callous about sensitive subjects and only some of that can be blamed on him intentionally playing the villain. He's attention-hungry and loves to cause scenes, and gets annoyed if ignored or people don't react like he wants them to. His trust issues combined with his arrogance result in him frequently working solo, unable to believe in anyone else and easily frustrated by people who can't keep up with him. He's logical when it's needed but often brutally so, blunt and shameless and willing to say the things everyone else is afraid to voice. Worst of all, he's a hypocrite. He's vicious in tearing apart other people's lies and gets extremely irritated when someone he trusts lies or when people who've voiced complaints about his own lying do it themselves. When annoyed, he gets petty and spiteful, and if he's unhappy then it's everyone's problem.

Overall, Kokichi is an experience. Handy if he's on your side, but a nightmare if he's working against you. Godspeed.

Powers/abilities: Nothing supernatural or whatever. Everything he's got going for him is completely mundane – unfortunately for everyone else, since that means he won't be losing any of it. He's good at games, and good at cheating at them when he feels like it. That sleight of hand also extends to the realm of petty crime, as he's got a talent for things like lockpicking and pickpocketing and sneaking into places he's definitely not meant to go. And he's got some amazing people skills and leadership qualities, even if he chooses to use them in only the most indirect and infuriating of ways.

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
He's extremely smart, in a very analytic and cunning sort of way, and he definitely knows it. But he's also pragmatic enough to solve problems and make tough decisions – an important trait for a good leader, of course. And, in his own opinion, he knows how to have fun, and a lot of people really suck at that.
✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
Other people could probably name many of Kokichi's faults, but the obvious answer for most people would probably be his inability to just tell the truth or be straightforward about anything. And if someone actually managed to be okay with all the lying, then it'd probably be his inability to trust and work with others.
✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
More than anything, he's afraid of being forgotten. Much of his whole persona and attitude stems from a need to be noticed and remembered, even if only in the most negative ways. But he's also afraid being betrayed, and of being rejected. It's safer to lie so much that no one can ever be sure what he really thinks or feels about anything. If no one can get close to anything "real", they can't really hurt him.
✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
A grape soda, and a variety of desserts that are all intensely complicated and/or time-consuming to make – an 100 layer crepe cake, baumkuchen, 100 hour brownies, whatever. Best case scenario, he buys himself enough time to come up with a way out of whatever is prompting this "last meal". And worst case scenario, he at least gets to eat something yummy and create a headache for the person preparing it. He's definitely not above being petty and spiteful on his way out.
✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
Only indirectly. And despite all his "evil" talk, it seems unlikely that he would ever actually kill someone himself given his especially vicious attitude towards many of the murderers in the game, and the no-killing rule his organization had. He may cross that line in some very extreme circumstances if he truly had no other options, but it'd hit him hard. Of course, he'd compartmentalize and rationalize and talk a lot of shit about being totally cool with it while smothering all his actual feelings on the subject, but that much repression will fuck a person up sooner or later.
✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
He'd want DICE to be real and alive and safe and all that jazz. It doesn't count as affecting others if said "others" probably never actually existed, right? And it's definitely more a selfish wish than any kind of altruism, coming from him.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Hajun Yeon (Western Order)
Canon: Paradox Live
Canon point: Part 1 of the VIBES Drama CD, after kissing his phantometal.
Age: 21
History:
Son of the head of Yeon Conglomerate, Hajun was actually adopted into the family for the sole purpose of inheriting and succeeding the company once he became of age. He was taken care of, given the best education and a warm home to live in, but everything came to an abrupt halt the moment his adopted parents give birth to a son. Branded an unneeded child, his parents send him to Japan -- alone, he finds a career in modeling while still being financed by the family that had abandoned him. He goes to school and meets both Allen Sugasano and Anne Faulkner who later become his roommates. Finding solace in wanting to prove to the world that constantly tried destroying their sense of self, they formed the hip hop group BAE.

In present day: club PARADOX, a competition where hip hop units compete for the grand prize of ten million yen and opportunity to go against the unit Buraikan, revives after ten years of silence and invites BAE. Determined to win, BAE accept the invitiation and begin to delve deeper into club PARADOX, Yeon Conglomerate, and the supposedly disbanded Alter Trigger that distributes phantom metal.

Personality:
"Of course, with a smile as usual."

Hajun is flawless -- at least that's what he wants the entire world to see him as. Handsome and well-mannered, successful and independent, to the public his practiced smile has become so engraved to his character that everyone believes it to be true. His fans approach him with giddiness and receive unhesitating fanservice; it's expected but he knows just how to wrap a person around his fingers so that almost anything he says sounds like a compliment. However, anyone familiar would undoubtedly recognize that this is just a mask that he wears.

In reality Hajun is quite sadistic and doesn't hold his tongue, lacing his sentences with insults that are accompanied by his usual, boyish tone. When he's faced to go against his professor during club PARADOX he doesn't hesitate to say that their sound is far too old and "better to be admired in a museum"; he's not a man who minces his words and strikes at other's weaknesses once he sees an opportunity. This is especially shown when one of the twins from cozmez, Kanata, steals Allen's phantometal. Hajun reluctantly finds them in the back alleys and compares their attempts at winning by sabotaging BAE a tactic for rats. Continuing to insult their way of living as well as their desire for money, only finding it admirable that they managed to survive so far living life with zero confidence.

He pokes and prods at a person until they snap, that is Hajun's greatest defense and offense. Kanata and their professors own team, That Cat's Whiskers, are victims of his worst venom, but Allen and Anne suffer from his antics as well. Admittedly he speaks to them like you would your friends, even if he describes BAE as coworkers, he never aims to maliciously hurt either of them like he does the rest of the world when he's allowed to show his second face. He teases Allen when he gets a part time job at CANDY as a host, even going as far as to arrive, completely unannounced, as a customer expecting good service. And whenever Anne attempts at cooking he "politely" reminds him of all the times they were nearly sent to the emergency room. But these are the people closes to him, and while he may come off as rude and uncaring, he cares for both of them deeply -- like family.

And admittedly their relationship is something that Hajun doesn't want to ruin, because BAE is the only family that he has left. Adopted into the Yeon family, he was originally groomed to become the head of the family once he had become of age; raised diligently and with care, he noted that both of his parents were kind to him, or at least that's what he assumed considering that he was young when they decided to cut him off. He was referred to as "unneeded" by the two people who raised him the moment his mother birthed her son, because the most important trait about their company is to be related by blood. This tore Hajun apart, and despite being only a child he couldn't find it within himself to cry -- he smiled, nodded his head, and departed to Japan alone.

Abandoned. Unwanted. Deceived.

This moment is the catalyst of all of Hajun's bitterness. His silent rage and desire to watch as everything around him crumbles, taking joy in the thought of single-handedly ruining Yeon Conglomerate by exposing their ties to the abandoned phantometal distributers Alter Trigger. He desperately wants revenge and he pours all of his energy into ensuring that he'll make it to his goal, even if it means sacrificing his body. This is revealed later on, just before they are meant to go on stage against AKYR, that Hajun's phantometal's somatic was weakening his body to the point that it nearly kills him. It's an agonizing pain that he struggled to keep hidden with the same smile he has perfected, and it was only with the help of both Allen and Anne that he was able to survive the erosion his metal sent straight to his heart.

It should also be noted that while he normally endures all of this negativity, Hajun has been shown to have a quick fuse. The moment someone begins to see through him, sees into the child that he truly is, he responds with an anger that startles even the hot-headed Allen. This is revealed when Ryu begins speaking of his insecurities and how much he is hiding, somehow able to see past his mask, which in turn leads to Hajun shoving him away and locking himself away in his room. Initially most believed this to be a "trap reaction" to his phantometal, but in reality the idea of being stripped down to the bone, revealed to everyone without his consent, brought him into an immediate fight-or-flight mode. Or, rather, fight-and-flight.

Overall, to understand Hajun Yeon, one must first understand that there are virtually two sides of him: there's the smiling young man who teases his fans and friends, and then there's the child horrified of the idea that he may once again be abandoned by the people he cares for the most. This is all he has, this is all he has ever wanted, and the last thing he wants is for it all to slip out of his hands and be left alone. It's a trauma that still holds heavily in his heart, shaping him into the person that he is today, and in return we can see that there is still remnants of that child who desperately craves to be loved unconditionally.

"Because I love them. Being thrown away by the people I love saying I’m an unneeded child is much scarier than death."

Powers/abilities:
Hajun is a pretty normal guy; he trains regularly to keep his stamina up, but his constitution is considerably weaker than most. Otherwise he's the perfect househusband and can rap and sing well.

Hajun does, however, have a feather ring that is infused with phantometal. It reacts to his DNA and allows him to generate illusions -- from stage backdrops to literal "phantoms", all dependent on his emotions. Though the metal does effect his state of mind, causing a "trap reaction", where he is subject to his trauma and may lose consciousness for a long period time. Other responses to trap reactions include going on a rampage or simply breaking down, and since Hajun is unable to predict his response he usually locks himself up in his room.

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
Hajun describes himself as flawless, but if asked to take the question seriously he'd say that he's handsome, well-behaved, and a great cook. As a model he has a reputation and saves face despite his rotten personality by acting like a gentleman; he does the cooking, the cleaning, basically everything that begs to be taken home to show off to your parents.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
Due to his past Hajun is a difficult character to get an honest answer from. He keeps everyone at arm's length and intends to keep them there, which of course also makes them subject to his sarcastic remarks and downright ugly insults. Anne even says that while Hajun has a nice face his personality is what really pisses everyone off.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
Unfortunately, Hajun is already living in the fear that he's branded as an unwanted child. He's also deadly afraid of being deceived like he was before by the "parents" that had adopted him, as well as the mask that he hides behind falling apart and exposing him for what he really is: a child desperate for love.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
Something that he can make himself: ginger soup. It's also something that Anne and Allen have both requested for him to cook.

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
Hajun has never killed a person, but if he ever were to the affects would last for a lifetime. In general he is a very vengeful person who wants to strike back at the world for deceiving him, but to extend this rage to the point of killing someone would undoubtedly leave him traumatized and conflicted about his goals.

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
To experience unconditional love, familial or otherwise.

PLAYER INFORMATION
Name: Dante
Preferred pronoun(s): She/her

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Angel
Canon: Lady and the Tramp II
Canon point: After her and Scamp's date.
Age: Pre-teen, maybe 12 in Human Years.
History: Here.

Personality: Angel is a street dog. She lives with Buster's junkyard dog gang, and runs around with other dogs to generally cause trouble. She doesn't seem to like Buster, the junkyard dogs' leader, very much. She takes offense to the idea that she belongs to Buster, and gets mad whenever someone calls her "Buster's girl".

Angel is very skilled, outwitting the dogcatcher and being able to perform tricks like jumping off of trashcans or jumping off boards to get over fences. She can be sarcastic at times, and good at reading others. When Scamp tries to convince he that he knows his way around an alley, she tries to make him prove it by performing "street dog" moves, which he fails at doing. Still, this doesn't sour her opinion of Scamp, instead her affectionately giving him the nickname "Tenderfoot". She seems to enjoy Scamp's earnest attempts to impress her.

Despite her rough street life, Angel is kind-hearted. She warns Scamp about the street dog life and tells him to go back home to his family. She really grows to care about Scamp, even in a romantic sense. She knows the street life will beat out Scamp's kindness, and she doesn't want that for him. When he saves her from the dogcatcher, she admits to him that no one else would've done that for her. This is why Angel feels like she's on her own all the time, because that's how junkyard dogs are - every dog for themselves. Scamp is the first one who shows her that someone can care for her.

The thing that Angel wants most of all is a family. She's been through five families, each one of them giving her up and putting her back on the streets. She's envious of Scamp's life, even getting mad at him when she sees how much Scamp's family misses him and tells him that it must be so hard having people care for him. She doesn't like Scamp's attitude that a family is all about rules, and that he should appreciate his family more. Angel is seen looking through the houses of other families with dogs, wishing she could have a family of her own that loves her.

Angel also proves that she can be very playful if given the chance, like chasing and catching her tail and chasing squirrels. It doesn't seem like she got to do this very often before she met Scamp.

Powers/abilities: Nothing, she's a normal dog.

Questions: may be written icly as the character or oocly as the player; please limit to maximum 5 sentences each
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths? Independent, clever, graceful.
✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness? She thinks she's okay being on her own when she's not, she gets a little too confident sometimes, and gets angered easily.
✽ What are your character's three greatest fears? Being alone, being abandoned, being rejected.
✽ What would your character choose for a last meal? Probably steak! Or some kind of fancy meat.
✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them? No. If it were something like a rodent, she probably wouldn't think much of it. Anything like a human, she'd be pretty horrified.
✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be? She'd want a family.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Gawain
Canon: Fate
Canon point: The moment Leo used 3 command seals to send him away.
Age: 28
History: Wiki

Personality:
( Arturia has a lot of spellings of her name, so I’m going to just use Arthur for explaining the story. )
At the moment from when he is summoned, Gawain takes the title of King and places it upon his Master. Dutifully so, as his only desire and wish is to earnestly serve a King who will give him the opportunity to be a Knight most true. An idyllic fantasy, that comes from an earnest heart and an earnest state of mind. However, it is one that can easily be twisted into something cruelly horrific if serving the wrong King or Master. His personality is drowned out by the lack of free will that he eagerly, gives up for the sake of serving someone wholly. It is that he has hopes that he can do what he ultimately could not do when he was alive. This desire lives throughout him vigorously, in his every action and in his vice. Since when he was alive, he let his own anger and emotions get to him. This fact is more grave when the entirety of his life shows that he had succumbed to the antics of his emotions time and time again. Gawain hopes that as he is now, he will simply be someone who is commanded as a right hand.

It’s easy to discern his personality more when you take into account he was - and in fact, had full rights of the Pendragon throne to become King of Camelot. His father intended on this, and rode to war with the mind that his family would take the right to it. However, Gawain held much love and vindication for King Arthur. He never once thought of throwing his own life against the will of the King he served. From the moment of his Knighthood and on, he blindly gave himself with the purpose of seeing the beauty of King Arthur becoming the great King that he himself felt he could be. Unfortunately for Gawain, this truth smothered the King. Keeping them at a distance to which Gawain ultimately put between them, one that continued to be filled with love but absolute misunderstanding of the King. A hole so huge, he is still blind to thinking that in the past life he had failed King Arthur. That he owed it to them, himself, and the Kingdom of Camelot - to become an ideal Knight in every iteration of his summoning or new life.

Emotions are something Gawain seems flippant about with his own, and a good way to understand this is his love of Gossip. Adhering his time at some of the meetings with a want for others to speak plainly about what goes on in their everyday ‘School Life.’ Teasing here and there with pleasantries with Leo himself, or the dichotomy that Julius presents with his lackluster care for being emotive. To which Gawain compared openly, the individual to someone like Lancelot. Still enjoying their company and respecting Julius for who he is. He is for a lack of a better term, a genuine and comely individual that is hard to not to like. He presents himself as a gentleman - frankly because he is - and is welcoming to everyone he meets. Gawain does not find problems in the way that others hold or handle themselves, and is the first to appreciate you for who you are. No matter if you are screaming garbling anger of rage, or inherently spiteful toward him. Gawain ultimately enjoys the common exchange of conversation, and the display of regular emotions. As he is seen being the embodiment of the sun in a lot of his lofty mannerisms. To him emotions are healthy, and during Extra to CCC he wanted Leo respectively to enjoy a normal life. To feel all of them and understand the concept of feelings, he never knew before.

Truly someone who is an older brother figure.

However, it is equally as true that he has a bit of a callous personality. One that easily snaps from caring and kind - to one of raw vindication and spite. If there is something that means to be handled seriously, or draw care for your respect upon it. Gawain will be the first to do so, and if you no less bring about shame to someone of importance to him - like his master or King. The Knight will not hesitate to show you just how cruel the sun's rays can be. Due to this he is unapologetically blunt, he will say what he means. He will do so from a play of knowledge, and often respect. Often Gawain keeps comments to himself, and merely because he does not speak his mind does not mean he does not understand the situation at hand. He may lack in smarts that are scientific or in lateral terms, but he makes up for such intelligence via his understanding of people. As one who was a noble in the past, and adequate with a liking to gossip. Gawain is very good at keeping himself calm and pensive. If he wishes for you to know his mind, he will ask to speak. If he is wrong in his thinking, he does not care for your opinion. If he feels you are wrong, he does not feel it is his place to say anything but he does acknowledge your faults with a firm reveering smile.

Ultimately Gawain is a strong individual very set in his ways, very accustomed to his own desires, and well adjusted with what his wants are. That is to say, with the memory of failure dwindling on his mind he may feel a tad bit more dejected than normal. Knowing that, he failed Leo as his Knight and could not serve the other faithfully until the end. The way that Gawain wanted to - with the rights of his entire life.

Powers/abilities:
Despite the information gathered is not from Extra itself, the Grand Order iteration of it is very good and expansive on how his abilities work. As well as what they all are individually!
You can read them here

Additionally, Gawain is a servant so his body is technically labeled as ‘Familiar.’ It is a body that exists with the pool of mana given to him, in order for him to have full access to these abilities and powers without having to hold back - he would need a Mana Source. *Clears throat* all funky Nasu lore aside, so long as he eats and keeps up his Mana source accordingly he will not ‘disappear’ or die. However abusive usage of his abilities or powers may result in him dying/disappearing, that way.

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
1. Persevering Loyalty
2. His kindness
3. His love
Oddly these sound really foolish no? When it comes to Gawain however it’s not, these are his strengths. He Loves, and appreciates all things especially the things he feels are beautiful. Gawain has an undying Loyalty that if he failed or somehow broke, it is something that would tear him asunder. His kindness comes at the cost of nothing, because he would give it to all even if that kindness is Blunt. Curt. Or seemingly Cruel.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
1. His Loyalty.
2. His family.
3. His Anger.
Gawain is subservient to his feelings even if he tries to tell you or act otherwise, he is most likely in the moment to act on them. If you can get him angry enough, or simmer your time in reminding him of his failures that he could not remain a loyal Knight until the end. This will fester inside of him like a black rot, and he will easily be weakened. However, it takes a lot to break his will because he is so confident and proud over who he is as a person. They are still a weakness none-the-less. His family is without a doubt, one of his core weaknesses.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
1. Rejection.
2. Failure.
3. Uselessness.
Gawain cannot handle his existence causing issues for others, to the point if he were he would most likely and gladly let you kill him for his folly. After what happened post becoming a servant, and the mixture of his Failure to Leo. He certainly will not welcome Failure a third time.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
Mashed Potatoes.

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
Can I be ooc and laugh, anyway I hand you this Mini Gawain Call out Post. Gawain’s lack of care for killing people is pretty consistent if not highlighted in Extra&CCC. Killing people is his forte, he gets away with it because he’s a Knight. He got in trouble by God for it, denied the Grail Quest for how much blood is on his hands (As well as how many women he slept with ). He refuses to face the facts, and seems really unmoved by the fact he has killed many people. Many. Many. People.

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
It could either be, asking Leo for forgiveness. However, mostly still his desire of serving a King who is most true to the ideal of what a King needs to be. So he doesnt have to think about emotions, think about himself, he can just BE. Be a Knight.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Leo Tsukinaga
Canon: Ensemble Stars!!
Canon point: Post-Next Door
Age: 19
History: Wiki link, Stories

Personality: One needs the patience of a saint to deal with Leo Tsukinaga.

For one, despite being part of an idol unit (Knights) whose name and image brings to mind a chivalrous order of loyal soldiers to their fans, Leo Tsukinaga's day to day image doesn't quite align with that ideal. He's rather wild, high energy, and incredibly whimsical; his constantly being compared to a child is not an entirely inaccurate description. He tends to focus on things that have his attention at any particular moment in time — whether that’s his composition or an interesting scenario slash person — with a single-mindedness that is hard to pull him out of. Sometimes this is a negative (for example, his underclassman Tsukasa has to constantly struggle to grab his attention while he attempts to speak to Leo when he’s writing a song) and sometimes this is a positive (in Blue Filament, when he desperately tries to apologize to Sora when he thinks he insulted him), but it’s a constant. His laser focus on a subject is usually peppered with loud, almost unintelligible outbursts of love or inspiration, the former being focused more on people and the latter on his composing. Sometimes, he doesn't even remember where he is when his mind strays towards a given thing, engrossed as he is in it. Was he just doing something? Was he talking to someone?

Who are you, person who probably just introduced themselves 5 minutes ago?

Yeah, putting it simply, Leo’s weird. Weird, and direct, and unpredictable… yet none of his ramblings or carefree, shameless declarations ever come across as insincere. That's another part of him that's somewhat like a child — he doesn't seem to be very complicated on the surface, nor does he seem to seek to make things complicated at any point in time. He makes his feelings on most subjects known with blunt, surprisingly sharp words... hell, sometimes he even whines. But he doesn't ever engage in behavior that he doesn't believe in in good conscience, nor does he say things he doesn't mean in an attempt to hurt someone. He's honest to a fault, surprisingly earnest, and a genuine lover of people. He encourages dream following and growing and living, and shoves himself in to help people that need it despite his tendency to come off as flippant and unreliable at times. Generally speaking, he is a good, kind person. Just one with no regard for social standards and sometimes lacking a little tact.

But he is good. And, actually, sometimes pretty wise.

Because despite his outbursts of carefree whatever, he's actually been through a fair bit. His past antics as a genius idol who did what he pleased with a naive outlook to those around him got him and others hurt, and he ended up completely disappearing from school during his second year under the pressure of most everyone he thought of as comrades in his unit actually using him simply for the songs he wrote, and not the person he was. He did what he wanted and thought about nothing but the fun he was having doing what he loved with everyone (and foolishly thought the feeling was returned), ignoring any maliciousness laying beneath the surface... as it simply wasn't there to him. He threw his everything into something that didn't quite pay back, and hurt others in his desperation to fulfill something out of that nothing. In the end, his everything didn't make it through intact.

While it may have been something he's grown past at the time of his canon point, those events are something he refers to consistently, and it also serves at the cornerstone of his development. He despises the fact his first response to hardship was to run away from those he called his friends, his fans; he despises the fact that in his quest to fulfill his one dear friend (and his own) dreams, he crushed the dreams of everyone who stood opposite to them; and, most of all, he despises the fact that, upon breaking, he brought down the people he loved with him. It's why he tries so hard to do all he can to support those that he treasures at this moment. He's gone from being a sharp sword to something more like a sturdy shield -- opting to do everything he can to support others, rather than hurt them. This... probably isn't entirely healthy either (given how easily he says that no matter what someone he loves does to him, he'll still love them), but it seems like he's something he's more okay with. And with his endless kindness and love, it's not surprising that this role is what he's come to accept.

Leo may not always act as serious as one might imagine a knight to be, but he does embody some of the traits of his unit's namesake. His previously mentioned kindness. Some form of courage and perseverance, to keep to the path he ran away from. A devout faith in his comrades, who he'll always look out for (even if his way of teaching might be a bit harsh and clumsy at times). So, yes, one needs the patience of a saint to deal with Leo Tsukinaga... but they'll be rewarded with a loyal friend who'll seek to help them out when he can.

He just draws on the walls sometimes. Sorry.

Powers/abilities: He's a regular human! Regular in the anime idol school sense of the world. He's got a number of miscellaneous skills like archery, bird calling, and skillful anime idol school tree climbing. He's physically fit as a result of his occupation, and is also quite gifted at dancing and singing because of it as well. His most notable talent is his ability to compose music, which is described as a genius gift and god-given talent.

Questions:

✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?

His genius is not entirely useful outside of a musical context, but that's definitely something he'd cite as a strength... No, really, he does tout that fact around a fair bit to the point that it's a little bit arrogant sounding. Outside of that, his stubbornness (which is absolutely in a hilarious way, since that's a cause of frustration for others too) that's allowed him to return from the brink of death, and his capacity to care for others that's stemmed from that too.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?

Sorry, let me take out the long list of complaints everyone's submitted to Google about Leo Tsukinaga-- but no, the main thing would likely be his slightly flighty nature that gets him into unfortunate situations, or his tendency to allow himself to so easily be used by others that, again, gets him into unfortunate situations. It's why his one of his friends literally has to sign himself up to be his babysitt... Ah, I'm sorry, his manager.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?

Being abandoned and alone, as he's felt that before (even if he wraps it up entirely as it being his fault); hurting others in his obsessive quest for something, as he's also done in the past; disappointing those he loves.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?

Something his best friend Sena cooked (puke). But, honestly, it probably wouldn't even be food -- just a cup of coffee or two so he could push out his last masterpiece, an actual Requiem this time. Even though he's written fifty for his fifty spiritual-not-actual-deaths... Ensemble Stars makes me tired.

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?

Me...taphorically speaking, he has. And honestly, even though it's not been directly said, he's probably pushed others at least close to their death just by virtue of being the guy who crushed a bunch of people's dreams and songs in order to reach the top. That was enough to affect him very deeply (to the point of leaving him locked in his room for ages), psychologically speaking, so needless to say any actual murder would wreck him a fair bit. When I say he's resolved himself to never hurting someone else intentionally, I mean it.

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?

This is actually... a difficult question, with how "for others" Leo's mindset is now. His most selfish, heartfelt wish would likely be to ease whatever hurt he made other people go through in the past... I say this is selfish because it's something he'd view as ultimately just easing his own self-conscience, as it doesn't erase the fact that he did hurt people. I can also say he'd go with something absolutely stupid like a pen that never runs out of ink or something like that because he'd get frustrated thinking of a selfish wish, honestly, that's just Leo Tsukinaga.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Izumi Sena
Canon: Ensemble Stars!!
Canon point: after Next Door, during the summer
Age: 18

History:
wiki page and appearances; im linking from the wiki bc my old compilation is so outdated sjdhsdf. please note that !! takes place the year after the base game, where izumi has already graduated from high school and is currently staying in florence to focus more on his budding modeling career, while also participating in knights activities in japan. imagine the jet lag.

Personality:

- MEAN: Put simply, Izumi Sena is a bitch. His only indicated hobby in his official description is "bullying underclassmen", and it shows in his interactions with his juniors in the school - he's relentlessly harsh to Knight's youngest member, Tsukasa, and is just as cruel to fellow third-year Nazuna, who looks very young for his age. He's not without his short temper, often complaining that something is "So annoying!" if things don't go his way, to the point of it being a catchphrase of sorts for him. Cold-hearted at best and an absolute asshole at worst, no one really knows whether Izumi does like a person right off the bat since he's that critical towards most people, especially since he can be needlessly petty at times just to prove a point. He doesn't care if people hate him back though, as they're only getting in his way in the end.

- LOVESICK: If Izumi's not being a dickhead towards somebody, he'd most likely be a huge lovelorn creep towards his only exception - Makoto Yuuki, the bespectacled second-year in the protagonist unit, Trickstar. Izumi's absolutely enamored with the boy, who used to be a model as well before they entered Yumenosaki Academy. While his obsession with Makoto is partly grounded on wanting Makoto to call him "oniichan" again like in their child modeling days, the way he drools over him implies that he wants to be in a relationship. Izumi would drop everything just to take candid photos of Makoto from afar, to scoop him up in his arms, to threaten the player character that he'd throw her, Makoto, and himself off the school roof if they'd start confessing to each other right in front of his salad. It has also gotten to the point that he'd considered a first year, Yuta Aoi, as his liable replacement if Makoto isn't available.

- GUILT: Izumi is not a very good person, that much we know. That said, he is very remorseful of the things he'd done, and not just for being a bitch and a creepy stalker. Once upon a time he made Knights with one Leo Tsukinaga, a certified musical genius who had expressed how much he loves Izumi, but Izumi was oblivious to all of it until it was too late; the war broke out, and Leo's loyalty towards him was his own undoing to the point of becoming a shut-in because of it. And while Leo did come back, Izumi's still wracked in guilt for not being able to protect his king as a Knight. Consequently, due to his overbearing nature towards Makoto and stifling atmosphere of the modeling industry, Makoto also states that it's Izumi's fault that he wasn't able to shine in the present. Because of this, Izumi's began to to think that people are fragile, and that he should protect them no matter what - so that he can finally forgive himself for his past transgressions. He said that this is something that he cannot heal from, since the people he'd hurt had suffered so much more.

+ DEDICATED: While Izumi can be rather full of himself when it comes to his idol activities, he does have the talent to prove that he's not just some pretty modelface. Eichi had once described him as someone who uses his own complexes as a driving force, and it shows at how he'd worked his ass off in the modeling and idol worlds - two industries which can take a toll on one's self-esteem if not careful. Izumi is also one of the standouts in the academy who actually worked their ass off instead of lazing about and relying on the school's name to get them anywhere in their future much like the majority of the rotting student council during the days of the fabled War. He's rather passionate with his hobbies too, be it modeling or ballet, and is willing to teach anyone who's able to endure his perfectionism.

+ CARING: Ultimately, Izumi cares so much for other people to the point of overprotection, like how his parents raised him. His indicated hobby may be bullying, but he explained in one story that it's his way of pampering people - to make them strong enough to survive the grueling industry that they find themselves in, because if one is unable to fight him off, they're simply no match in a career that'll rip them in shreds if unprepared. Arashi also notes how he's good with little kids back when they were still working in the same modeling agency, and how he's always there to lend an ear and a hand to those in need, just like a knight. And as of Next Door, he's willingly volunteered to look after Leo in Florence so that the latter will have someone to take care of him.

+ LOYAL: His devotion to Leo - who'd seen something special in him during those arduous times in the War - is unparalleled, which wasn't so obvious during the early months of the year when he'd wanted to leave Knights while he was suspended from idol activites because of his kidnapping stint that he'd pulled during the DDD. Despite talks that he should've been the king of Knights for his professionalism, Izumi would rather follow Leo's lead as its unpredictable king, and took up the mantle while the latter's MIA for personal reasons while promising that he will duel on his king's behalf. He'd also learn to fight for his fellow Knights as well, and his friends that he's warmed up to in later months. Izumi may talk and act as if he's a sword that only exists to hurt people, but in due time he will realize that he's more than capable of loving and protecting someone.

Powers/abilities:
- IDOL: as a member (and former temporary leader) of Knights, Izumi excels in singing, dancing, and performing on stage in front of large audiences. Knights in particular are well-known for their fanservice, so he plays that up to a certain extent, as he's able to appear gallant and chivalrous to his fans despite his terrible personality towards his fellow idols.
- MODEL: Working in the industry since he was a child, Izumi knows the ins and outs of modeling and was looked up to by his fellow idol models because of his experience and passion for this career, despite taking a hiatus. He also knows how to apply makeup because of this.
- BALLET: His specialty. He took ballet in the past and was able to teach the basics of it to his fellow knights and another unit for the school festival. He's noted to have a flexible body because of it.
- CULINARY: His other specialty. Izumi's a superb cook, to the point where the school's kitchen vie for his sweets despite his dislike for them. He prefers eating his own homemade food to keep a closer eye on his diet as well.
- KNITTING: He just does. He made a nice dinosaur plush for one of his younger unitmates and a scarf for his beloved Makoto. It's cute, okay.
- MISCELLANEOUS: Apart from the aforementioned, Izumi knows basic first-aid (for taking care of Makoto during their modeling days), and is quite a decent ice-skater as shown in the Dance of Ice gacha. Also he now knows how to speak Italian, or at least in a conversational level, while he's staying in Florence for the time being.

Questions: may be written icly as the character or oocly as the player; please limit to maximum 5 sentences each
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
Why, his ethereal beauty and insane work ethic, of course! Also he's an amazingly good cook? He will do the cooking, cleaning and sweetening for anyone he's loyal to -- and even the ones he claims to hate. He's just fussy that way, or so he says. In all honesty, his resilient nature and loyalty towards his peers are his more redeeming traits... when he's not being a shithead.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
The thing is that most people assume that Izumi's nigh-untouchable due to how he keeps most people at length with his bitchy, arrogant attitude. But the truth is that Izumi can be a little emotionally stunted at times, not knowing that his words and actions could've gravely hurt someone until it's too late. He tends to think in extremes, like how he'd kidnapped his childhood friend in order to keep him safe, for example.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
Abandonment, anything that tarnishes his beauty, and... horses. He was kinda terrified of them in one story and it's a little funny.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
He'd probably not eat anything, tbh. He's going to die anyway, so what's the point? That said, he wouldn't mind anything with shrimp in it, like tempura.

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
Not in the literal sense... But Enstars can be very metaphorical at times, and especially for a unit modeled after knights like - well, Knights, it's inevitable that there will be some "bloodshed" coloring their concerts. For Izumi, he's claimed that he'd "killed" Leo before as their mental state and codependency for one another spiralled, and he also mentioned that he had "killed" his beloved junior Makoto as well for being overbearing. As for actual murder, Izumi hasn't done it yet - but that doesn't mean he's not down for it. A huge majority of their unit is very down for murder due to how their school being so overly competitive that it gave some kids PTSD, rip.

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
To be the most beautiful person in the world. It's a lofty goal, but he's expressed this many times and it's pretty much why he's in the entertainment industry and endured so much shit in it. He's willing to manipulate others just to get to this goal, although he does wish that he wasn't so vicious about it.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Senku Ishigami
Canon: Dr. Stone
Canon point: Post Stone Wars (post-season 2, or chapter 83 in the manga!)
Age: 3717 chronologically, mentally 17
History: Here!

Personality: Senku is a very confident, straightforward, and highly logical teenager. As overconfident as he may seem, he’s able to back up his claims and talk with his very vast knowledge of science. He doesn’t specialize in one field, but rather has taken it upon himself to learn as much as he possibly can. Senku believes that there is nothing that science can’t explain, even if it takes years to figure out. Even with his vast intelligence, he doesn’t look down on anyone, but rather tries to encourage people to learn and do better. Despite all of this, he can be a bit hard on himself when he gets things wrong, but he always bounces back and is willing to try to make things work another way.

Senku is also very good at taking a leadership role! He is very good at negotiating and manipulating people to his own ends, which might make him seem pretty suspicious at times. If science has found a way to cut corners and make things easier, so can he. However, he's proven time and time again that you can fully trust him, making sure that your faith in him doesn't waver by backing up his promises. He has a knack for bringing people together in order to fight for a cause. If he can't do something himself, chances are he'll find someone who can help, which is something he isn't afraid to ask for.

Powers/abilities: His mind! He has an eidetic memory, and is able to remember vast amounts of knowledge. This helps him in the New Stone Age, as he comes up and crafts tools of science in order to bring back civilization. Other than that, he has no magic- just his resourcefulness, craftsmanship and creativity!

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
My three strengths, huh? Well, I believe it'd be my extensive knowledge, determination, and my ability to lead and negotiate.
✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
Oh, easily my physical strength and stamina. I'd easily go down in a fight without armor or something to protect me.
- He also can't lie, at least when it comes to science.
- He's got some pretty bad luck too.
✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
- Not being able to help anyone.
- Everyone being petrified yet again.
- Permanently dying before being able to achieve his goals.
✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
Ramen.
✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
- He has, or at least, he sees it that way! In order to save Tsukasa from completely dying after a fatal injury, Senku had to stitch him up, and then soon after put him in a cold sleep. Until Senku can figure out a way to petrify Tsukasa and bring him back from the brink of death with miracle fluid, he will remain frozen. This definitely affected Senku deeply, as he wants a bloodless return back to civilization, instead of wars brewing between the Kingdoms of Science and Might. He doesn't want anyone to die as he brings people out of the Stone Age, but now he feels as if he's breaking that promise a bit; he doesn't like the idea of "killing someone" with his bare hands, but it's something Tsukasa trusts him with.
✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
To be able to go into space!

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Clamor Ventus
Canon: Elsword
Canon point: Liberator path; the end of Noah's Master Road questline
Age: Unknown; mentally and physically he's somewhere in his 20's, though if we're taking things literally then he's over 1,000.

History:
Clamor was a half-elf born during the pre-Nasod era of the Elrian Kingdom, enrolled at the prestigious Seven Tower as a scholar of magic. As a specialist in spirit-magic and automated magic devices, he was approached by The World's Most Suspicious Dark-Cloaked Cultist Bad Guy to design a weapon that could be infused with an artificial spirit—he would realize far too late that a real soul would also do, and that this was their original intention all along. After handing over the blueprints, he was promptly knocked out, murdered, and used as the first test subject. Luckily(?), he had tampered with the spell at the last minute in an attempt to dissuade them from using it, so he was spared the indignity of being used for evil and instead ended up sealing himself away. RIP.

Roughly 1,000 years later, Clamor would be found by a boy named Noah Ebalon in some ancient ruins, eventually leading to the seal on his consciousness finally being released. After sorting out his situation and getting to know his new partner, they realized that they both had a beef with the same shitty cult. They've been travelling together since, investigating the cult in order to stop them from ruining any more lives and (to a lesser degree) looking for a way to get Clamor back in a normal body again (though he's kind of given up on that himself, and really, half the reason he's here is because Noah is sixteen and should not be fighting evil cults without adult supervision!!).

Personality:
An idealist at heart, Clamor has always strived for the betterment of the world around him. He chose to work with magitech because he wanted to create things that could help people: simple devices that performed simple tasks, but would be incredibly useful to those who were less fortunate. He wants nothing more than to be able to help people, and he's proud of what he's managed to accomplish—until everything went horribly, horribly wrong, anyway.

He cares deeply for the needs of others, but it's difficult to say how he feels about himself. When asked about his family and upbringing, he shares that he had no siblings, and that his relationship with his family was... complicated. As a half-elf, Clamor is gifted with magic and shares many traits with his elven relatives, but one thing he didn't inherit was their longevity. He goes so far as to compare himself to a pet—in the eyes of the elves who can live for centuries, Clamor's life would be over in no time at all. Feeling that the difference in perspective created too large of a rift between them, he chose to remain in Seven Tower even after the rest of his elven clan chose to leave, saying that he wished to live with people who had the same "time" as him.

You'd think that would mean he had people he cared about at the Tower, but his classmates also treated him poorly, accusing his half-elven blood for being the only reason he was allowed to enrol while also scorning him for not being a "real" elf. He didn't seem to have any friends at all, really, preferring to spend his time buried in his research or helping out his professors. Still, he didn't let this attitude get to him, nor did he let it discourage him from pursuing his own goals. If anything, he saw it as another reason to push himself to greater heights. Having lived his life being looked down upon, he wanted nothing more than to be able to prove himself—that someone like him could still be useful, even if he wasn't a pure-blooded elf or Elrian.

It's this idealistic desire to be useful that brought about his downfall, though, and allowed his pride to become a double-edged sword. For a scholar who works tirelessly to reduce the burdens of others, he sure is reluctant to ask for help. Even upon realizing that his invention could be used for evil, he never tried to ask for outside help or advice—he did everything he could to prevent it from being misused, but he still made the idiot move of trusting that the person he was working for maybe had good intentions, tried to warn them about the potential flaws, and was somehow surprised when he got himself killed for his efforts. He's smart enough to recognize when something is suspicious or unrealistic, but he's still a bit naïve when it comes to approaching these types of things, and he gives way too much leeway for people to prove themselves.

He's an honest person, but he's also not above white lies. Especially when it comes to Noah, there are plenty of moments where he's lied or downplayed his own problems solely to keep his young friend from worrying. He'd much rather put up a cheerful, positive front to keep his companions' spirits up whenever possible. It's not entirely a front, either—he does genuinely think it's better to stay positive, and he prefers to focus on what he can do in the future rather than dwelling on mistakes of the past. Sort of, anyway. He doesn't always manage to follow his own advice, and he still feels a great deal of guilt for the damage his inventions have caused in the years he's been sealed away. He does want to make up for the damage he's caused, though, even if he can't undo what's already been done. He has a similar approach to his own unfortunate circumstances: he doesn't believe there's a way to return to his real body (he's dead, after all), and he has no desire to return to his original era or try to fix his past. Instead, he sees his new life as a second chance, as well as an opportunity to make up for those mistakes.

To those he's friendly with, he can bit a bit of a tease and quite sarcastic. He's very long-winded and prone to lectures if you get him on a topic he's passionate about, or if he feels that the knowledge would be useful to the other person. He's also a huge nag, maybe even a bit of an overbearing guardian at times, though considering his existence as a weapon means that he's glued to Noah's side at all times it's somewhat understandable that he'd be more aware of his partner's needs. He does have a lot of patience as well, though, and doesn't mind offering his help or encouragement whenever a problem comes their way. Obviously, he's pretty good with kids.

Powers/abilities:
Clamor is a scholar of magic, specializing in spirit-based magic and magitech devices. He's very skilled at his craft, though he prefers more mundane and practical inventions—for example, a self-sweeping broom or a lamp that lights itself when approached. He's shown some talent for other types of generic magic as well, such as breaking/creating protective spells, magical cryptography, extremely basic elemental attacks, etc... but really, he's very much a non-combatant. He has plenty of magical knowledge, just don't expect him to be much help in a fight.

Ironically, his soul has been trapped in a magic sickle of his own design (whoops!). In his current form he can speak telepathically to anyone touching his weapon-body and move around by floating, albeit very slowly. He can still perform magic, though it's more difficult for him to pull off complicated spells. An alternate timeline implies that overexerting himself would risk shattering his form, effectively killing him if the damage is too severe, so. Bad idea.

His weapon form is bound to his current partner and wielder, Noah Ebalon. Fun perks of this bond include: being able to speak without direct contact, being affected by Noah's weird time travel magic (which mostly just means that Clamor can remember things between timehops, so I won't get into it any more than that), and any spell that targets Noah's mind will generally have an effect on Clamor as well (ie. an illusion targeting Noah will also pull in Clamor).

He also functions as a very large, pointy object with which to stab things.

All that aside, and as funny as it would be to leave him like that, I'll be humanizing (half-elfinizing?) him on arrival.

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
Intelligence, level-headedness, and morality.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
He tends to try and take on everything by himself rather than turn to others for help, especially when those others happen to be younger than him. A mix of pride and selflessness—he doesn't want to burden others with his problems, and he also wants to be able to prove he can fix his own mistakes.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
1. Having one of his creations be used to hurt others (oops).
2. Not himself dying, since he already did that once and tbh he's kinda over it, but definitely having someone else he cares about die.
3. Being stuck in a state where he's conscious but unable to communicate or interact with others. It's like dying, but it never ends!!

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
i'm gonna be real i've got no idea since he never really talks about his tastes and doesn't currently have a mouth in canon. He says he's not picky though, so like... probably something with a lot of flavour? He did literally die in canon and welp, can't taste anything now that he's a big ol' sickle, probably regretting not trying more stuff while he could. On the bright side, it doesn't have to be healthy if it's a last meal!

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
haHA absolutely not, he's no fighter despite having been turned into a literal weapon. He comments on how fighting monsters is a pretty stressful experience for him (though to be fair, they are a lot closer when he's the thing being swung around to kill them) and he's basically never been in a serious fight prior to joining up with Noah. As for if he could kill someone... he's way too gentle and already feels guilty for indirect harm he's caused, so there's pretty much no way he could intentionally Do A Murder. If something did cause him to kill a person anyway, he'd be wracked with guilt and probably freak out about it immediately.

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
Well. Getting his real body back, for sure, though the whole "can't be for someone else" clause would be a huge deciding factor. He's absolutely the type to try and put others' needs before his own.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Ainchase Ishmael
Canon: Elsword
Canon point: Post-Chapter 9, after the El Search Party defeats Berthe and closes the portal to the Demon Realm. He will be from his 3rd job path.
Age: This is kind of complicated. He was created by a goddess and sent down to earth, but then was immediately blasted into another dimension where time passes weirdly. When he next returns to the world, 500+ years have passed. Three years have elapsed between that point in time and his current canon point, so he can either be 3 years old, or 500+ years old. He appears 21 years old, though.

History: Each character in Elsword has 3 potential endings, all of which are equally canon. Colloquially they are called the character's 1st, 2nd and 3rd job paths and explore different personality traits.

World Info
Story transcript with summaries (up to Feita)

Ainchase Ishmael was created by the Goddess Ishmael to restore the power of El. When the El exploded into tiny shards, he fell through a dimensional gap created by the explosion. He was only able to escape the realm of chaos after some time and joins the main party. However, the scar left on his body from his experience in Henir's realm turns into a corrupting infection. Ain tried using an El-powered machine to remove the dark energy, but it feeds on his unease and only grows stronger.

Ain carries on with the mission alongside the other characters but as he continues to use his power, the chaos and the corruption further corrodes his body. He endures the agony but only to continue his mission. Later, Ain heads to Feita to receive answers from the Goddess but upon arrival he was overwhelmed by the presence of demonic energy and the sheer number of demons surrounding the area. Ain is unshaken and charges to battle, believing that he would be saved if he reached Feita's temple. However, the temple is in ruins and the Goddess is wholly absent. He then has a mental breakdown and surrenders himself to the corruption, turning into an eldritch entity over time.

Personality:

➣ Dedicated

Ain was created to serve. His identity is closely linked to his given purpose, and he prioritizes it above all else, including his own life. It is his belief in his duty that sustains him and allows him to endure the trials that he has experienced since coming to earth. Despite not receiving any instruction from Ishmael after departing heaven, he still stubbornly clings to his interpretation of her words. As long as he is able to believe in a cause and take it as his purpose, he would have the same persistence for it. He is capable of regaining all of the power that he lost in the void and ascend to the level of a lesser deity through his faith, exemplified by his ascension in his 1st job path. He has abandoned his duty to Ishmael in his 3rd job path, but it also opens up the opportunity for him to pledge his loyalty to another cause and the potential for him to show a similar level of dedication.

➣ Logical

Amongst the party, Ain plays the role of minder. Due to his nature as a celestial, he is somewhat detached from his emotions and thus acts in a mostly logical manner, contrasting him with the rest of the cast who can be hotheaded and emotional. He always has his mind on the task at hand and isn't afraid to chide people who make disadvantageous decisions by being swayed by their heart. However, this also doubles as partly a weakness, as he finds it hard to empathize with others. He is often frustrated when the party goes off on sidequests, as he considers them a waste of time. When approaching tasks given to him, he starts by gathering observations then trying to reason out a solution. Thus he is also stronger amongst combat as his quick reasoning lets him adapt to changing conditions. He then passes on the knowledge that he's learned to the rest of the party. While not a strategist, he is capable of playing the role to some extent.

➣ Potential

Ain is quite young for an immortal, having only experienced the physical world for three years. There is still a lot that he doesn't know about nor have had the chance to form opinions of. His experience in the 3rd job path has released him from his stubborn adherence to Ishmael's teachings, and at the current canon point he has not yet become an emissary of the void, so there is potential for changes to his outlook. He is without a cause to devote himself to, and seeking somewhere he can belong as well as people who will treat him kindly. His willingness to learn new skills and work towards a goal will also help in his development both in terms of capability and also in emotional maturity.

➣ Inexperienced

Because Ain's existential clause makes people forget him after he returns to his original form, he lacks object permanence in others' minds. As a result he gets away with a lot of things that would otherwise have made working with him difficult. He doesn't bother learning people's names or how to speak with tact because humans would forget all of it as soon as he stops manifesting. Essentially, it is a cheat button that nullifies all faux pas that happens in his interaction with people. When this button is taken away (e.g. in the game setting), he will be heavily disadvantaged as he does not really know how to speak with others in a sustainable way.

He is easily mistaken as one-note or arrogant by others due to his attitude, because he neglects to (or cannot) tell people about his true intentions. His cageyness is noted later on in canon by Lu, who is the first person to suspect that he is hiding something. Ultimately he is often misunderstood by others when he tries to advise them simply because he points out perceived flaws bluntly and isn't aware of sugarcoating, or the possibility that he might be wrong.

His inexperience also extends to caring for himself such as eating and healthy sleep patterns. While this is ameliorated by his natural drive to learn and improve, he starts off at a very bare-bones position, and will have difficulty adjusting to his new existence unless there are people to advise or teach him.

➣ Lonely

Ain lacks concrete bonds with other people. He is not remembered by others who care for him on a basic level of 'someone who travels with us', and does not have any friendships except with Elsword, who is able to retain memories of him better than the rest. As he was created with emotional capacity but not the experience or knowledge of how to handle it, he craves social interaction like most people but restrains himself from acting on that wish even at a cost to his own mental well-being. Due to Ishmael forbidding him from spending too much time with humans, he is often left watching from afar when the party does a group activity together. There is the conflict of what he wants and what he is duty-bound to do, and he often chooses to neglect his feelings for the sake of his mission. As a result there is a lot of pent-up negativity and stress that he carries around, which contributed greatly to his descent into despair. Since he is unable to vent it in a healthy manner, the stress will eventually impact his ability to function coherently.

➣ Self-destructive

The void taint that Ain receives also has a side effect of inducing insanity onto its recipients. Ain is able to handle it due to his nature as a 'vessel' for divine will, so that the mind-melting nature of the void is at first counteracted by Ishmael's blessing. However, the infection is made stronger by his negative emotions and he loses the protection that the goddess gave to him. Slowly he becomes affected by 'seeing into the void' and becoming nihilistic via Lovecraft style mental pollution. An angel without their patron's love has little reason to live, and he is doubtful of his self-worth in his current state. Thus he has little qualms about entering dangerous situations, as he does not value his existence highly. He is likely to retain this attitude even when humanized and needs to learn that he is a lot easier to kill after the change.

➣ Silent

This is a trait specific to Ain in this particular route. One of the side effects of void corruption is that it dulls the senses (particularly heat/touch and pain) of the victim, thus Ain is not very talkative or responsive. Coupled with his mental state it makes him seem empty or doll-like, hindering communication with others. Luckily this can be ameliorated with enough patience on the other person's part. Removing the corruption will also let him experience things properly again. There might be an adjustment period but it is possible to go back to a semblance of normalcy.

Powers/abilities:

➣ Angel

Ain is a celestial (or angel). His true form is an orb of light, but he also has a human vessel to enable him to interact with his surroundings. Much like Fate/ Servants, he's able to survive without sleep or food and has higher endurance than most humans. However, he still needs time to rest and recover if he takes too much damage. One thing about his human form is that it masks his nature as an angel even to magic-sensitive people or demons. Most of the crew thinks he's a human, albeit a weird one.

He can take on a form closer to his true angelic nature through Spiritualism. His magic will become stronger, and he will be able to fly/levitate. His appearance will also change.

Manifesting in the real world enables him to be remembered by those around him. Once he demanifests, they will forget that he existed. It's a complicated clause that was made to explain how Ain was effectively retconned into the plot, so I'll nerf it in the game setting.

After falling into Henir's domain, Ain became corrupted by the void's chaos. He has lost most of his ability to feel heat/cold and pain from external injury, as well as most of his emotional responses. The corruption causes him physical pain (pretty much the only pain he can feel) and gives him constant feelings of fragmentation and dissociation. The taint also appears on his physical body, manifesting as circuit patterns on his skin and a hole in his chest. Eventually it will change his form to a different one but that requires a canon update.

➣ Creation Magic

Creation magic allows him to summon projected weapons such as swords, spears and daggers. These can be thrown at the enemy or used as tools (for example, a midair platform to jump on). These projections used to be green/blue, but have now changed to a black/green colour scheme to reflect his attunement to the void. He can even project afterimages of himself to multiply attacks with Unlimited Blade Works, but this costs significantly more energy and is used sparingly.

Void projections have more 'jagged edges' than the elegant form of his original divine spears. Some can even inflict deep wounds and other injuries.

➣ Cycle Magic

Cycle magic are related to the natural mana of the earth rather than divine magic. They can be used to fire 'energy bullets' aspected to various natural elements such as fire, ice, and wind. However, Henir's taint prevents him from using this easily.

➣ Henir

As a 'fallen angel', Ain gains a conection to Henir's realm, the primordial chaos that serves as the 'sea of origin' surrounding the other worlds. Henir's chaos was used as a raw material to create the physical world and the demon realm, so it is not evil or malignant in its nature. Henir represents extinction and the infinite edge of time, and Ain now possesses the ability to act as a 'key' to open gates into Henir's realm. Some of his skills involve temporarily rupturing space and flooding the surrounding area with concentrated entropy. It involves a lot of eyes.

Henir's chaos by itself can corrupt living beings and turn them into monstrosities, and exposure to the chaos aura (for living beings, not Ain) will result in heightened emotions, loss of reason, the compulsion to destroy everything around them, and permanent physical warping depending on the length and concentration of exposure. Ain himself has reached about 80% corruption, and further exposure now benefits him instead. Henir's aura strengthens him if he's in its immediate vicinity. This can come from his own gates, or from other gates that have similar properties. By applying Henir's aura to someone else, he is able to weaken their mental stability. This can range from inflicting temporary confusion to melting their minds. It also involves a lot of eyes.

Questions:

✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
Ain was very faithful to his Goddess, and he considered his determination a great strength. He has been able to endure a lot of dangers and loneliness by virtue of his faith. He also has skills in combat, which he takes as a strength that enable shim to eliminate obstacles. However, these are 'past strengths', since after his corruption, he no longer considers himself worthy of serving the goddess and would only cite his ability to survive as a strength. He really doesn't have good self-esteem.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
Ain is stubborn and unable to understand others' feelings, which has hampered him cooperating with others. After accepting his void corruption, his apathy also becomes a major weakness, as it prompts him to be reckless and lack motivation to pursue things. However, they stem from his self-imposed isolation and his barriers can be broken down over time.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
He fears being unable to fulfil his mission, losing his sense of self, and being forgotten. However, due to the void taint and his own apathy, these aren't crippling fears but rather consequences that he would not want to face.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
Ain does not eat, so he wouldn't need one...

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
Yes. He has killed demons (which are also sentient people from a different realm) by the hundreds. It does not affect him, because it was part of his duty to put down any opposition to the goddess. He would not hesitate to kill if it was necessary.

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
He would wish to permanently die, so that he would be put out of his misery. As an angel, his ability to fulfil his duty is his biggest reason for existence, and a failure for that would mean that he did not have a reason to live. He also cannot commit suicide, so he's never been able to end his own existence and continues living mindlessly.
