Midway through spring break, your character will receive a ping on their PDA to let them know their homeroom has been updated for the new school year. Gawain's homeroom is now 2-E, his locker number is 295, and his student ID number is 125216. The inside of his left wrist bears the number 29 in tally marks, looking as if they were scratched into the skin. The marks are neither painful nor bleeding, but are sensitive to the touch, as if the skin is in the process of healing— and will never fully heal.

At some point during spring break if Gawain visits the library, he might come across a book with a hidden compartment cut out of its pages. Inside, he will find a blue flame lighter, as well as a flattened, single-serving bag of instant mashed potatoes that you just add hot water to, because I read mashed potatoes and went "oh, that's a legit last meal."
