Welcome to Yogen, Transfer Student. We hope you have a fulfilling school year and make many cherished memories you will carry with you to the end of your days ...however many you have left.

Midway through spring break, your character will receive a ping on their PDA to let them know their homeroom has been updated for the new school year. Kokichi's homeroom is now 1-E, his locker number is 133, and his student ID number is 889988. The inside of his left wrist bears the number 12 in tally marks, looking as if they were scratched into the skin. The marks are neither painful nor bleeding, but are sensitive to the touch, as if the skin is in the process of healing— and will never fully heal.

At some point during spring break when Kokichi visits his locker, he'll find that two sticker sheets have been slipped through the front slot of his locker. The red stickers smell faintly metallic. The yellow ones peel off the page easily, but once stuck onto something, they're strangely difficult to remove and may need to be painstakingly scraped off bit by bit with a knife. All the other stickers are normal stickers.
