Welcome to Yogen, Transfer Student. We hope you have a fulfilling school year and make many cherished memories you will carry with you to the end of your days ...however many you have left.
Midway through spring break, your character will receive a ping on their PDA to let them know their homeroom has been updated for the new school year. Naegi's homeroom is now 3-D, his locker number is 296, and his student ID number is 414803. The inside of his left wrist bears the number 5 in tally marks, looking as if they were scratched into the skin. The marks are neither painful nor bleeding, but are sensitive to the touch, as if the skin is in the process of healing— and will never fully heal.
At some point during spring break when Naegi looks through his school supplies, he'll find an open package of laser pointer pens. The pen lights come in orange, green, blue, and purple, and there seems to be one pen missing, which he can deduce from the torn packaging to be the red pen. They all seem to be normal laser pointers, not strong enough to burn anything except people's eyes, and he may find that the white cat likes pouncing after the green light and the black cat will follow the purple light with its head but won't get up to chase after it.
