Ahaha, you're right...
( first thing is first... maya telling komaeda to find her brother on his own, and not saying something like stay away from him is... a huge flag here. he wasn't expecting that, so she believes he can find hiro again, which komaeda possibly could, he's technically annoying enough. )
I'll find him, don't worry! ( maybe this time komaeda can get him the box of strawberry milk and the corn chips shaped like the cone properly this time. )
This is pretty good, Arisu-san, I wish someone of your cooking expertise could make food for the endeavor we're all going through...
no subject
Also I forgot Komaeda pressed betray and disregarded Hiro's snack order after unleashing beetles on him, no wonder Hiro was pissed, it had less to do with being bothered and more to do with being terrorized ]
You know plenty of others who can cook. I will take care of myself and my brother; I will not be feeding you.
no subject
i'm tearing up, he was testing hiro's hope and he likes it!! but at least this means he'll be able to win him over with his snack order... selective dementia truly comes in handy. )
You don't have to feed me, Arisu-san! Rather... would it be too much to ask for a dish from you once we're able to acquire the dormitories?
( her cooking... HER COOKING. )
no subject
[ What does she get out of it? Acquiring dorms isn't a personal accomplishment for her; she's not homeless. ]
no subject
( which sounds like a bad thing at first, sure, but he's onto something considering maya tends to have it hard with kindness, and being thanked, things like that. it sounds fun too, now that he talks about it, sharing a meal made by someone else with another person so they can equally praise the meal. he likes what he's had so far, and he takes another bite to express his excitement. )
I won't be the only transfer whose had your cooking, so then I'd have no reason to brag!
no subject
[ It isn't something to brag about, "I got to eat Maya Arisu's food and wasn't poisoned after" it's nothing special. ]
In fact, you keep it to yourself that I shared any of my lunch with you. Don't speak a word of it.
no subject
( especially "i got to eat maya arisu's food and wasn't poisoned after," because i sure did think it was poisoned. )
Allowing me to indulge in this made from your own time and effort... ( he hums, it's a shame that he can't share with his roomie(s?) her food, well, he did try for the future. )
I have to ask... is this the sort of food that they say is made with love?
no subject
What? No... You're speaking of a meal made by somebody for their significant other, or for family, or for friends. This was for me.
[ No love here. ]
no subject
...Do you not love yourself?
no subject
Not in a way that can be tasted. If you want that experience, ask somebody to cook for you and you alone.
no subject
( help, i think about this video rina sent me, and komaeda's enneagram did some annoying shit like this. )
no subject
no subject
Sorry, sorry... I won't ask again.
( he does, however, lean across the desk to pick up another piece so he can have a bite. )
We're working on friendship first, I remember. Love interests can be for later.
no subject
We're not going to talk about it later, either. That's private business, so if you wish to gossip about romantic pursuits, do it with somebody else. Friendship too isn't something that needs to be discussed, like a soccer huddle before a game.
no subject
You all really like soccer here, huh?
( why soccer metaphors, what's the lore? anyway, he'll laugh softly. )
But no, Arisu-san... What do you hope for aside from power, because I believe hope is something you can't do alone.
( we're going to ignore komaeda does everything alone, yep yep. )
no subject
[ Who would miss the chance to watch Rokkun play in an official """soccer""" match, honestly ]
Anyways, [ she pins Komaeda a Look ] I am not alone.
[ There is one person she can always rely on, even if he doesn't seem the most reliable, she still holds him to higher regard than anybody else here. ]
no subject
( where's her phone, is this trackphone era? i can't remember, and komaeda can't remember, but he's modern, and knows that's how normal people record things. also, there's personal reasons. let him get up to bring his chair on her side of the desk so they can sit next to one another, and he settles his hands into the seat of his lap. )
That's good, Arisu-san, as long as you have someone... Then that means...
( she's able to connect with others, it's a possibility available to her. sighs, hope and friendship with a little bit of dying, he wouldn't have it any other way. )
Good things... I've heard.
no subject
[ Stop that. As he slides his chair over, she places the heel of her foot on the edge to stop it from coming any closer, because in her mind, picking up her own chair and moving it would result in a never ending cycle. ]
Lunchtime is over. Go back to your homeroom.
no subject
I'll clean it for you, Arisu-san! Then I'll make sure it's returned to you.
( by her brother, of course. so he's going to take this with him, and god, please don't stab him hiro... even though it's special for girls to share their bentos with guys......it's not what you think.
now where IS HIRO!!! WHERE! WHERE! )
no subject
Hiro is in the library during lunch hours, sitting at a desk off to the side somewhere with his head buried in his arms on the surface.
zzzzzzz
He will absolutely not wake up in time to return to class, if he even went in the first place. ]
no subject
it's a good thing that komaeda likes the library, because he remembers bringing hiro there last time... but once he notices him, he'll make a detour towards the vending machines to purchase the snacks he wanted last time. i actually have a bag of bugles, and they're the cheddar kind, i'm crying.
once he has them in his possession, komaeda will make his way back into the library to sit down right next to him. his desired snacks first, and komaeda makes sure that the bento box is in his lap out of sight. )
...
( nudge, nudge. )
no subject
god, okay
Hiro smells him before he feels the nudge on his shoulder, presumably, and lifts his head from the desk to slowly blink in front of him with some confusion. ... Then he turns to look at Komaeda, because why does he sit next to him instead of across... ]
no subject
STOPPPP MAYBE HE BATHED TODAY I HATE YOU, okay, he's smelled. he claps his hands together, giving his peace offering as he waits for hiro to take them.
once he does, komaeda will pull out his pda, same as last time: )
goodmorning
no subject
Komaeda has to set the bag of chips in front of Hiro, directly in his hands, for him to realize that they're for him and now Komaeda just... idk, bragging or something by eating the chips in front of him. But he does accept them and lets the bag sit on the table between his arms as he peers at the PDA and watches Komaeda type.
...
makes his amendment: ] goodmorningitsnoon
no subject
they're hiro's chips and drink, which komaeda makes that known because he's not going to eat any of them, and is more focused on his pda. as soon as he gets an answer, he (in yama's words) backsapces (/in yama's words) what hiro and himself wrote, and then with new, fresh text. )
and you just woke up, good afternoon. did i get your order right?
