There's a faint hissing sound coming from the laptop, like white noise. ]

I'm not gunna get hurt am I?
[ Was the question to him or to the laptop? Both probably. ]

A chat window pops up on the bottom left corner of the screen that still reflects Nanami's face: ]

[ Nanami asks quaintly, simple enough. Her eyes look over to Akira, wondering if he is okay. ]
We can stop if it makes you uncomfortable?
no subject
is HE here
ME WIHT MY v3 FEELINGS NOT PERJURY
Nanami cants her head, questionably. What she doesn't know cant be a lie, so she looks back into the camera and speaks honestly. ]
Can I know who you are? Are you okay?
[ Nanami is extremely confused here. Needing more information were the basis of anyone's ordeal in a situation like this. However for her, sher felt it more innate that information were needed. Akira gave her the appearance of one seeking avoidance. Whilst the computer sought and searched for someone - perhaps him?
She had thoughts and assumptions: 1. Was he this laptops creator? 2. How did she even get her hands on it? 3. Was the being on the laptop, conscious of what was going on?
Nanami held concern for it, genuine concern.]

[ Akira isn't even trying to see the screen through the reflection in Nanami's eyes. He does not look at her. ]

[ A long thought process proceeds in her mind, and she adjusts a bit uncomfortably. Her eyes look rather harshly at Akira, trying to discern what is going on in his face. ]
I dont understand what is going on.
[ She says frankly to both of them, a sharpness to her words. ]
I just want to understand, what is happening - do you know?

[ He's still not looking at her, but he can't pretend he's not being spoken directly to when she does, risking a quick glance her way before staring somewhere above her right shoulder instead. ]
It's, um. S-she's... uh... a student. Was a student. A portion of her soul.
[ or something like that ]

[ If Nanami were capable of processing discomfort, or irony and how it can lead to discomfort. Configure the thought that, it was strange her of all people retained the laptop with a student or friend whom the other seemed acquainted with. Why was this in her hands? Why did she have this program and why was Akira the only one apparently able to open it up for her?
The thoughts flutter in her head over and over again, and she is unable to discern any answer from it. Her memories are gone from the life she lived in this school, and Akira is just a nervous person. Possibly just as uncertain to the situation as herself. ]
What do we do then? If she's inside of this computer, it looks as if she is unaware of it and in the middle of learning her processing. [ Nanami states as if she knows, or completely understands how it will feel like. ] Are you her creator, because you knew how to turn this on suddenly?
[ Looking down at the computer, Nanami types. ]
Can you see this?

hello
...We don't do anything.
[ He whispers his words, like he's afraid of being overheard, like he's guilty and he is and he looks sick and pale for it. ]
I did this. She was afraid of disappearing, so she asked me... if I could bind a part of her here.

[ Nanami types rather quickly, her eyes looking over toward how Akira looked. He seemed really down, and upset over the matter. It seemed the mystery of the laptop slowly were being revealed little by little. ]
If my father was here, he would be able to help more. [ She says softly, her own understanding of programing were low. At best, she could construct her own game if she put the time and energy into it.] Why do you seem upset about it? If that was what she wanted, then why you do look ashamed?

[ If Akira could read the words on the screen, he wouldn't say anything at all, letting them speak for themselves and why he hates the situation being what it is, even if he was asked to do it, even if he was successful at it. ]
It's what she asked, but— but it's not what she wanted!
[ He looks up suddenly, pleading, red in the face for blurting out of nowhere but he doesn't stop. ]
She wanted to live! She wanted to stay here, to play with everyone, to go to school and... and to learn, and to... to live. She wanted to live, Nanami-san... This isn't living.
[ It's a soul bound to a laptop. Who can only see through a camera, hear through a microphone, converse through text. The soul will never experience warmth, or touch, or emotion, or anything, and he did this to her. ]

[ Nanami says that, and immediately takes the laptop and turns it so its facing Akira. ]

[ He glances at the screen— glances at Nanami, can't find anything in her eyes- and glances away. ]

[ He nods once, and keeps his head dipped.
The laptop powers off. ]

She looks over to see the laptop is off, and then closes it shut. Eyes veer toward Akira, their emptiness seemingly casted to him. As they take in his body language, discomforted and upset over the matter. ]
Lets start from the beginning.
[ Nanami states, roughly after the silence between them got inherently quiet. ]
Why would you show this to me if you didn't know something was up?
[ If she could, she would say: About me. Feeling that there was some cruelty in this, that the actions here were telling of a deeper story that she wished to unveil. Her hand reaches and she rather suddenly takes his - touch is something she does not take nor do. However there was slight desperation in her voice, and an earnest want to understand what this all meant. As well as the purpose for showing her this - as if he did it to watch her. Or did it to observe her reaction - or for some alter motive that she was unaware of. ]
.. ... Why did you so readily show me this? If you were afraid like this in the end?
[ As an Ai herself she needed answers, questions were the only form of substance for her to make a ruling on information given. As she were, she held nothing in her mind of understanding to what was going on. Desperate for something, to grasp on. ]
no subject
I'm sorry.
[ The apology is also reflexive, like he has to preface everything with it. ]
I knew about it. Before you even came, I knew. Rokkun— Rokuro... he said I should show you, and I can't... refuse him.
[ He drops his gaze now, though, because those aren't reasons, it's an excuse, it's him shifting the blame. ]
I thought... since you like games, you'd enjoy talking to her, and she'd enjoy talking to you and... and it wouldn't be as lonely. I wouldn't feel as guilty. That was selfish, and I'm sorry.
no subject
[ Nanami thinks for a moment. ]
You say that, but what you said before was cruel and rude - so what is the truth? Do you regret what you did to her? Or do you want her to live as how she is? Or do you want her to hide away forever?
no subject
-—cruel? Was I?
[ Before we touch upon those questions that his gut reaction is to answer with yes, yes, and yes. ]
no subject
Then you told me that how she is - isn't living. So do you want her to have fun with me? Maybe play games with all of us? Or do you think she's really not living?
[ Those real questions keep coming, they are calm and concise. Literal with her neutral tone. ]
Which is it?
no subject
[ He closes his mouth when she presses on, though, because he can't choose one from the other. That girl is not living, he knows she's not, no matter how much he wants to be. He saw her die and what he did was preserve an echo; he could never bring back a person. He is not god. ]
I only have a fraction of her soul. It's not a full consciousness, nor a full person. Not yet. I need more, if I want to do anything for her.
no subject
[ Nanami takes the laptop in her hands but slowly begins to offer it to him.]
I think what you have is enough, and the two of you - and all of us can make more memories together. Even if its not the same - because youre right. Shes gone now and she cant come back, but you still have a part of her in here and with you.
no subject
No— no, no, it's not- it's not something you can just grow like a clipping off a plant. It's not... How can I...?
[ How can he talk to a person who isn't all there, let alone connect with them? It's like trying to speak with Komaeda, or Rokkun. ]
...I want to face her when I have something more to offer besides apologies...
no subject
[ Nanami leans in just a bit to gauge their reaction. He seems genuinely out of order with what she said. Genuinely needing the time to prepare himself to talk to her. ]
No one said anything about growing? That was you.
[ Pulling away she returns back to sitting along her legs. ]
Sometimes saying sorry is enough to start with, and all that happens afterwards is what you make of it... If you think too much about it, you'll just freeze up.
[ She says tiding the laptop back into her lap. Opening it up- MUN FORGOT TO MENTION THEBACKGROUND is a picture of her Hinata and Komaeda. So rip she prolly forgot to put it up, that would have been funny interaction. ]
