They're valid questions. [ Hyde would make a good counselor ] What do you even mean by "save"?

[maybe if she just steps on hyde's face he will stop talking. she's gonna try that.]

There's maybe three valid questions. [...] When you save the day, everything goes back to the way it was before everything went wrong. Or as close as you can get it. Maybe you don't get there in time to catch the person falling out of the tree, but you can clean them up and put a band-aid on them.

[ It really is... a childish, idealistic view of things. It makes the counselor smile, just a little, and he has to fold his hands in front of his mouth to hide it, because Stephanie doesn't like it when he smiles. ]

But the world will always be a little wrong. You can't save the world all the way back to the beginning of time.

[ How it is here, in Yogen High, it's the way things are. The default. There's nothing to be saved from. ]

Of course it will. We wouldn't need heroes anymore if life was perfect. Heroes are just people trying to make life the very best it can be.

[ BITES THE SHOE. Stephanie will realize that if she tries to pull her foot out, Hyde will pull back and begin to eat her shoe. ]
