[ It really is... a childish, idealistic view of things. It makes the counselor smile, just a little, and he has to fold his hands in front of his mouth to hide it, because Stephanie doesn't like it when he smiles. ]

But the world will always be a little wrong. You can't save the world all the way back to the beginning of time.

[ How it is here, in Yogen High, it's the way things are. The default. There's nothing to be saved from. ]

Of course it will. We wouldn't need heroes anymore if life was perfect. Heroes are just people trying to make life the very best it can be.

[she says, while leaning slightly more weight onto her foot.]

[ BITES THE SHOE. Stephanie will realize that if she tries to pull her foot out, Hyde will pull back and begin to eat her shoe. ]

[ RIP Stephanie's shoe. ]

In what direction? Do you pick one and stick with it, or do you run around in circles trying to help everything?

[ Another shoe eaten. He is listening, conversation is interesting. He is learning about the counselor as they go, they kinda just repeat back what Stephanie says - Hyde wonders if hes bored? ]

Oi. [ Chew chew chew. ] Dont think counselor-san is having much fun with the convo master.

It's alright, Hyde. I'm learning.

[ Listening. ]

I think it's interesting, the way people's minds work. It's why this job chose me.
