We can go hiking at the school trip at the end of the year, if you would like to submit a proposal for it. Otherwise, you would be putting in the time and effort in something ultimately fake, nothing close to the real experience. Have some patience.

... We all had memories of a time before we got the memories we have now. [ Nanami retorts toward Sara, as if this was subjective to them and not Nao themself. Ultimately she was gauging Nao's concern over this line shared between them, but she agrees with what Sara says. ]

That is why we are all confused, a game has rules and standards? Why cant any of us remember or know about these rules?

[ Nanami's eyes waft over toward Nao. ]

I do not mind, as long as you know where to cut and how. Depending on what you wish to do with them, they would fare better outdoors than in.

[ He spares the clock on the wall a quick glance, not that he'd need to with class having just ended and most people still packing their things to go to club or otherwise leave for the day, neither of which Akira has plans to do. ]

[ As per usual Nanami waits at Akira's Locker around 3pm ish? She is hoping he will show up so they can play more games, frankly Nanami needs the companionship. Except she is over eager and ends up sleeping leaning against his locker. ]

"He threw it against a wall so he can pet a cat"? How does that even make sense?? You were there?

[ What she's hearing is Y'ALL COULD'VE BROKEN HER SOUL OVER A STUPID CAT ]

[ Not an interrogation, sure. She crosses her arms from her seat on the desk and huffs. ]

I'm going to have to disappoint you, because I don't know the rules either. I remember my old life too, when I wasn't a student of this school, before I woke up here. I'd only been a student here for a couple months before...

[ Before """things happened""" ...Ugh. Kokichi would be the best person to ask about everything that happened, with how he got himself involved, but she can't in good conscience suggest they ask him about it and expect a straight answer. ]

I don't know what happened. The next time I woke up, I was lying on the bathroom floor getting my stomach stitched shut. Apparently I've been put up for display in a glass case for a month for some charity auction, so if anybody is confused about what's going on here, that'd be me.

[ Make it 4pm after class and he'll show up, making his way downstairs from class and slowing to a stop when he sees her in front of his locker. Do you wake a person up in this instance? do you let them sleep? ...

He crouches down next to her, arms wrapped around his knees, and speaks softly. ]

[ Pestilence is going to eat this baby rat to provide energy to raise her own children. ]

...I'm going to return to my work.

[ Maybe break into Amami's locker and steal his shoes. The sheer audacity of what he's seeing in front of him right now. ]

[ Nanami rubs her eyes, hearing his voice! 4pm iT IS! It doesnt take much to stir her, shes been working a lot on a game she wants to make for the Dorm Fundraiser. When Akira is spotted through her hazy look, she immediately asks... ]
... Ne... Akira.... How.... is y... Your arm...?

[commences]

( he relinquishes his hold on the knob as the door opens, and he makes a mental note for himself on the oddities within the school. walking past the threshold, he shuts the door behind him gently, and then checks to see if there's a device attached given the counselor is sitting at his desk. once he looks over that, he'll give his attention to the counselor properly. )

"Finally"... ( he asks with a quirk of his brow. ) Have you been waiting long?

( is there room on his desk, because komaeda will pick up the bowl of rice crackers, and lift himself up so he can sit beside him. with the bowl in his lap, he looks down at them, shuffling them by shaking the container left and right. )

[ Maybe she can slam her sword at the barrier until it breaks. ]

Well... hang in there. Even if you can't figure things out, hanging in there is fine. Do your best to stay alive until graduation.

[ Komaeda isn't allowed to see what he sees, some grand plan he's been biding his time for over three long years. But there is hope there, a certainty, a desperation that borders anxiety that gets squashed down with the overwhelming defiance of ]

[ He finds that he is smiling, that he's turned to Komaeda but he isn't seeing him. ]

Oh...

[ He looks down at it, as if making sure it's still there, first and foremost. It is, and it's in a sling, but it's fine because that doesn't stop him from writing or playing games, so he only ever notices when it's brought up. ]

It's still broken. But it'll be fine in a month or two, provided I don't break it again before it gets a chance to heal.

[contrarily]

... yeah, thanks.

( sucking in a breath, she pushes herself off the table. )

Um, we're gonna be working on moving stuff around... probably on the 8th and 9th, so if you feel good enough, feel free to stay and help out! Otherwise just show up at the thing itself, 'kay? We're not so shorthanded I'm willing to risk your health, dummy.

[ It looks like a normal doorknob.

The counselor watches closely as Komaeda takes a seat next to him, but only to make sure he doesn't overturn the bowl on accident, because nobody needs to see the counselor eating floor crackers. Safe on Komaeda's lap, he picks up a piece and pops it in his mouth. ]

I've been waiting several months. But now matter. How are things with you now? You look like you don't want to be here.

[adsum]

Yeah, I'll... see what I can do.

[ He'll be there on the 9th, but no promises on actually helping. ]

[commences]

You understand that you should let go of me... to protect yourself.

( his hands fiddle with the jacket, his thumb prodding into the fabric as he traces the number etched into it. he can't stop wondering why this is back in his possession, but as he looks up to see him smile...

it feels almost too familiar. )

( he lifts his organic hand, raising it towards rokkun's neck... he's hesitant, but a few inches away before touching. maybe it's talking to him that calms him, had this been his first rodeo, maybe he would have broke down completely, but...

he lives off hope. )

( not the floor crackers, i'm crying, but since he's sees that the counselor is interested in them, he's picking up another to hold up to the man's mouth. open up. )

...I was given an appointment, no one likes going places that's against their will. ( he sighs, waving the crackers in front of the counselor's lips like telling him to eat. ) Things with me are... hopeful, as always.

[ He's going to come for Rika in a maid dress and then leave until the actual event

It'll be fun, even if it's not the real thing. Didn't you ever play pretend when you were a kid? What's wrong with doin' something that's a waste of time and effort, anyway?

[ Nanami asks, slowly coming to from her senses. Letting out a yawn, and settling her hands to hold her bag. Monomi is hanging out in the back as well. Pressed against her back, squishy and standing out. ]

( not him wanting rika in a maid dress but also looking like a puppy when komaeda's mentioned??? slut... )

Oh, dunno. Ran-tan probably knows, though.

[adsum]

[ He should have let go, yes. Holding onto him is why he got messed up, yes. He gets it. He still doesn't let go, though, nor does he flinch when Komaeda reaches for the bandages around his neck. ]
