[ Sorry shiritori, Akira is more interested in the game and the fact that Komaeda actually pulled through, what shiny is Komaeda, I was thinking Absol bc it has the super luck ability but there's no Absol in Silver/Gold ): ]

( you know, this is the first time he's ever seen like akira interested in something he's done so like... it's making him feel embarrassed. he actually almost drops the console, and has to look away (towards nanami, unsure if finding one like this is good or not, translate akira for him) because he's not even proud of his luck in general.

noooo absol would have been good... that's the next pokemon game that nanami and akira have to get, but we'll go for something as fluffy as him — a mareep! now had this been x/y... this would have happened.

okay, he doesn't know what ball to use... bro, it needs a cute little ball... to be an aprimon because they're peak, but if they don't tell him which ball to use... he's going to click the masterball.

he's looking at nanami first, and then akira second... he'll catch it, but with what ball!!! )

[ Nanami doesnt mind, it will be more special though she almost chuckled watching as Komaeda finger hovered over the run button. I wouldnt be a big deal to her, but she believes in the other fully. ]

[ The masterball... it seems like a waste, but then again, the masterball is the one that always sits in the bottom of Akira's bag to the end of the game, more of a trophy or collectable than something to be used, and that's a waste in itself. ]

[ Unless his finger slips and he hits run instead, Akira got a little nervous when the cursor lingered on that option, ngl ]

( not them agreeing for him to use the masterball which he reads the description of first: A Ball that captures any wild Pokémon without fail. so, this is like a guarantee if he uses it. there's no need to fight the creature to whittle down it's health, so he'll do what they're both expecting.

when he chooses to use that specific ball... komaeda closes his eyes because he's ready for the worst... like it's going to pop out or something, so he doesn't watch. it's thrown out with the ball coming undone from the top and bottom to capture the shiny mareep, after, it falls to the ground to bounce a few times and then...
