( makes him concerned for the other's hopes out there, wondering if they're taking care of themselves, and not doing anything tragic that could cripple the amount of work they've put into changing. )
No. I really don't feel like it...
( dancing, he means, could have asked for anything else. don’t care didn’t ask plus your jester’s hat does not jingle with a merry tone that so pleases the king as mine does. ) Instead...
( he automatically stops like his chip just fried, and he purses his lips as he falls into silence. that's enough komaedanism today. )
no subject
...I think I might take the rest of this home. You guys don't mind, right?
no subject
'course not. That way, you can still think of us even when you're away! Don't forget to take the rock, too!
no subject
not going to lie to you, he's caught up on what they've solved and what they haven't, what a poor show of hope... they haven't solved much, have they.
he's listening... sort of in and out. )
...
( he sighs, no matter, his mood swings win this round. oh yeah, the rocks that they were given individually. he'll walk over to them both to hand his side of the rock back to rokkun. )
no subject
no, nonono, stop ]
Thanks.
[ He accepts the rock in cupped hands, feeling the weight of it and trying to focus on the iridescence instead of
anyways. ]
The cake isn't going to be a souvenir I'm taking home to remember you guys by, you know...? Besides, I won't ever forget you two.
no subject
Hmm... even after you leave us behind here? ( she hums, letting go to walk around and flop right in rokkun's lap, facing him.
no pay attention to rock pay attention to HER. )
You'll probably forget the moment you're out... so meaaan. Right, Koma-kyun?
no subject
( as he thinks about it... his head kind of hurts, the way he has to listen to rokkun say things such as he won't forget them, but he'll never see them against unless their paths are fated to connected. to him, hope is the only path that he should be walking, and that saddens the ultimate to no end.
as rika makes her way into his lap, komaeda walks around, standing right behind him as he leans forward, wrapping his arms around rokkun's neck, and pressing his chest against the back of his head, and komaeda rests his chin on top after. it's like taking place where rika left off in her migration. he hums thoughtfully, sighing as he looks down to meet rika's gaze to communicate with her silently — )
Or maybe he won't forget... maybe he'll leave us here to drown in these unsolved mysteries... the only thing that will be left of us... ( he sighs, the tips of his index and middle finger picking at the fabric of rokkun's shirt purposefully to kill time. ) ...is our corpses that'll haunt him.
no subject
Have more faith in yourselves... You'll solve those mysteries.
[ Corpses, though. Unavoidable. ]

( spoken lightheartedly, like she doesn't quite take her own death seriously, but, really — she almost died right before arriving here, so the memory is still fresh in her mind. a split second difference, and she would've gotten hit, perishing forever — and who knows whether this place would still take her in or not.
that's really neither here nor there, though, as she makes herself comfortable in rokkun's lap, glancing up at komaeda. )
We're both trash, Rocchi. Lowest of the low, you know? ( she doesn't hate herself outwardly very often: most times, she masks it with faux confidence, but... ah. well, it's fine. it's these two, and they can be privvy to her little secret. ) If that's all you're gonna give us, it's not very motivating, either. Also...
( she glances down, at where her skirt ends, just above the middle of her thighs. )
Aren't you a little too comfortable like this? Hey... how many girls do you have outside of here? ( not the sidechicks... she always knew he was a player smh... )
no subject
( for someone like him to say that is the last thing anyone wants to hear, but he speaks to get under his skin for a reason. he's not a good person, he's not very positive either, and he knows that he, himself, is trash beneath certain people's feet. he can talk like this about them easily because he lacks a caring bone in his body, but speaking the truth isn't bad? is it? even if it comes from him? )
You should make it a habit of encouraging her hope, if not... everything you say will just drive her to her own death. Mine is already planned.
( a death like right here and right now, he could choke rokkun where he sits, but komaeda thinks he's mentally okay to not do something so insane. his brain isn't all there, and sometimes he has these little urges to see his hope too, but he takes a deep breath. ignoring the thought as he listens to rika's concern, and there's this breathy laughter that leaves from him as he lifts one hand, forcing his finger into rokkun's mouth in an attempt to part his lips.
it's no good if he stays silent when she wants to know, it's no good that komaeda is here to make things so difficult, it is rokkun's birthday, and they're paying attention to him. )
You'll answer her for me... won't you?
no subject
[ give him a moment, he's counting ]
no subject
DO YOU NEED TO COUNT THE GUYS, TOO, YOU LITTLE SLUT?!
no subject
...?
( this is between rika, rokkun, and god tbh. he'll just watch with a smile. )
no subject
[ Stop, he needs that arm for murder, Rika!! ]
I'm kidding, there's nobody else— nobody else I do stuff like this with.
[ Nobody else he lets close enough to do this stuff with, she should know, it shouldn't even be the two of them. ]
no subject
...
( of course she knew that. she's not dumb, you know. she totally figured it out from how shy he always is to touch her, and how hesitant he is when he kisses her, and when —
you can see where she's going with this, right!! )
Dumb. ( is all she says, more to herself than to him, huffing as she rests her cheek against his chest. ) If there's anyone else, I'll really kill you. For real!! And Koma-kyun will help me!!
no subject
must be nice to think that way the way he does. )
I know all sorts of ways to kill, if you're interested, please do come see me...
( he says this so innocently with a small, breathy chuckle afterwards. )
no subject
How would you kill me?
no subject
I'd strangle you. ( no hesitation... she just thinks it feels the most personal. but then again, she hasn't really considered killing people all that much, unlike these two freaks. ) Or maybe stab you with my sword... ?
( he seems to like it, so maybe that's the way he'd prefer to go...
idk give her some ideas komaeda she's not the murderer here y'all are )
no subject
( coat a blade in poison, cut him in various places so that he bleeds, but his death shouldn't be by bleeding out — rather by the poison in his system. it's an idea, but it needs to be fleshed out better, komaeda only believes in deaths that'll mean something, and the act of jealousy isn't really one — how does it help others around her? though, rokkun's death would probably mean a lot of different things for them. )
A locked room murder, because even you're hiding something from us now...
( it's all about the symbolism, you know? )
no subject
Better go with the sword, or you'd be giving me a chance to fight back. And, given a chance, I wouldn't stop fighting.
[ He'd prefer something swift and painless, but not for his own sake. After that, he doesn't care how his body is displayed or his death is presented, if it's made into a spectacle such as a locked room murder, where people poke and prod and stare and meddle and try to get inside his head and under his skin and in his life that no longer exists— try to understand him, so they can feel good about themselves for "solving" him.
He would hate nothing more than that. Fitting, really. ]
no subject
Maybe I want you to fight back. ( sometimes, he says things that should probably concern her. stuff like, "i don't want to hurt you, but if you get in my way, i will." it's... odd, but... she admires him, really. his will to live — his will to keep struggling and fighting for what he wants, no matter the risk and cost.
compared to people like her and komaeda, with flimsy or newly-found wills to live, the stark contrast is actually pretty jarring. still... she thinks she can learn something, from his determination alone. maybe that's why she's so drawn to him, like a sad, little moth to a bright, burning flame. )
It's better if Rocchi turns the tables on me, anyway... ~ ( the person who wants it more deserves it more, she thinks. ) I'm probably too dumb for that locked room stuff, anyway. If it was you guys, though, I'm sure you'd pull one off.
no subject
Kawaii-san.
( he starts, but his words fall into silence as he listens to her views on the matter, how she'd want him to turn the tables, and the way she speaks is... that she'd accept that. he doesn't fault her at all, rather, youth must be filled with so much despair to think about wanting to die so actively. of course, he doubts her life was like his, he doubts her life was like rokkun's so she has personal reasons for that.
he knows he can't leave her name hanging in the air, so he laughs right after to make their conversation a bit more lively, and that's because komaeda's good at changing the air — even if it leans towards irritation. they're all a bit troubled, someone more than another, so maybe that's why they feel some sense of companionship. that's what komaeda thinks about those two anyway, as long as they feed into one another... )
I'm an idiot too, no good at murders... so there's no need to rely on me, because who would want trash assisting them...?
no subject
[ He hides, yes, but a locked room murder begs to be solved, and so wouldn't be his style. If he had a choice, nobody would know about his murders at all— nobody would ever know Rika was gone, nor Komaeda. ]
When it comes down to it, though, there's no need to plan that sort of thing. The stricter your plans, the more places it can crumble, and there only needs to be one point of weakness for it to break.
[ When it gets to that point, just go for it, swing the sword at his head and pray. ]
no subject
Koma-kyun's a specific kind of idiot. Like, a people-idiot. ( because he sucks at social situations and is all around very weird and awkward, but... that doesn't mean he's dumb when it comes to murdering people. in fact, she's willing to bet that he isn't, for... better or for worse.
she's sure rokkun would trust him with scheming a murder, at any rate. )
I guess... but always winging it can't possibly work, either. ( at least when it comes to? killing people? )
no subject
though, there's no murders to be made as of yet, so in the end, all their suggestions would work — it just depends on how it's done, who is killed, and how they manage to get away with it. )
How would you want to kill us, Rokkun, tell us in extensive detail since you're well-versed in the act.
