[ Well wishes for her to live a full life... A pointless wish, seeing as she's going to fill it herself regardless. Either way, she slides over the stack of wishes after deeming them sufficiently dry enough. ]

I've never been called someone's family before... I wouldn't compare me to her, especially if you want her to live long.

( watch, if she's not dead already, chiaki's going to get a phone call... in the foreseeable future. it's a little troublesome though, to say something like that to her, but if this is the sort of hope she cherishes, then she can. that doesn't stop komaeda from enabling others to the sort of hope he believes they're interested in — ever have that annoying guy who you don't want help from, but they help anyway? that's him. )

( he takes the slips of wishes from her, each one unnamed correctly except for one, and that one he picks up first to stuff into his pocket. the rest of them are in his hand now because he needs to hang those up immediately, but as he stands up next to his chair to pocket those too. he pauses in thought, looking towards the door. )

You live a life where you don't believe people need to deserve... I think the effort that's given to the world can make things hopeful, because then people will recognize you.

( she's just an untalented individual, so he understands that she wouldn't get it. )
