I'm okay.

[ It's an automatic response, unthinking, but she doesn't do much from day to day besides sitting and thinking and not paying attention to class. Lunch is a pack of peanuts from the vending machine because sometimes your bed is on the ground floor and your homeroom is on the top floor and you have to choose where to camp for the rest of your days because fuck stairs. ]

And he's fine. He's... a good student, when we're in class. It's kind of creepy, actually.

Peanuts are not a full and balanced meal! His smile falters a bit at that, but he'll have to address it later since he didn't bring anything else with him. maybe after class is over he can check to see who's cooking dinner tonight...

Hm? Yeah, I was in 1-D, just next door. Keep almost walking in there by accident... My old homeroom teacher doesn't seem to recognize me either, but I wasn't exactly the most outstanding student.

This might be a longshot... but maybe this will make more sense to you than it did for me.

I found it in 1-C over spring break. It's impossible to tell now when it was last used, but it was like this when I found it.

[ She takes the PDA in hand and turns it this way and that before squinting at what parts of the message she can make out on the screen, silently mouthing the words.

I dunno. But it looks to me like whoever owned it was attacked, since the PDA is useful so long as you're alive. [ From what she feels, it wouldn't have been doing by the owner on purpose. ] Everybody can see everybody's messages on these things, so I can't tell either whether somebody was in the middle of writing it, or if it'd been posted. In that case, it could be anybody in the middle of reading it.

What about the name? S-E, and maybe two other letters. It's not Kouji Seki, or Izumi Sena. Does anyone come to mind?

...Seki's name sounds familiar. A second year, who played basketball. Maya— one of my classmates, she broke his nose once because she got mad at him. Nobody else comes to mind, though. Are you sure it's not either of them?

Izumi is a transfer, so if it was him then we're still at a dead end. [can't remember anything prior to graduation and all... also me handwaving that he's asked izumi about this already since both of us don't know shit] As for Kouji... he said he didn't know what it meant, and he didn't seem to be lying. I can't say I know him well enough to be sure of that, though.

[and if he did lie... what's he trying to hide?]

Me neither. Maybe Maya would, but... she's biased.

[ What if he did lie? haha! wonder when he'll be discharged from the hospital ]

[it's fine, if we never see him again then it's because he moved away to live on a farm right...........]

... Hmm. If she's familiar with him, then... it might be worth asking her opinion anyway. [read: make Natsume ask her about it because she seems kinda scary, and Clamor is obviously not equipped to deal with Maya.]
