[ People don't normally smash mirrors on the ground?? He straightens up with a small huff, though, shrugging off the outer layer of his uniform to hand to Rika. ]

Who's hopeless? At least wrap your hands in this first.

[ She can be careful as she wants picking the glass up, but what after? An errant soccer ball can come flying and they she'll be in trouble.

He could help pick the glass up, but no... He just watches her, hand to his mouth and sucking on the cut on his hand until it stops bleeding. ]

( she insists, but accepts it regardless. it is safer to collect the shards with material wrapped around her hand... and when she's collected all shards big enough, she stuffs a few into her jacket pocket and throws the rest into her locker.

she looks up at him then, smiling down from the ground. )

Out of commission yet, or should I keep going?

[ He's tired, but between the blood loss and running around the school, that's not too surprising. Still, he crouches down in front of Rika and mirrors her position. ]

Being around you keeps me going. Was there something else you needed to show me, or can I have my ball back and see if I can make it to practice?

( imma be real with you here i forgot about the ball entirely so i'll just say she... kicked it along from the bathroom because i can say that and nobody can dispute me on this. )

I'm okay now!! Take care at practice, 'kay? You're injured. ( she reaches forward to brush her thumb over his nose, expression a little thoughtful. after a moment, she turns to the side to push the ball towards him. )
