( "that's not fair," komaeda has probably said the same once or twice while growing up, losing his parents to a meteorite before his eyes, being kidnapped only for no one to take the ransom and the culprit feeling bad enough to release him, then to be diagnosed with two life-threatening symptoms. it's not fair, yet, for every moment where his life felt like it was at its lowest, he was given something in return. his philosophy in life is twisted, it makes no sense, but he applies the same ideology on rokkun, unfairly. )

Maybe it's him being bitter about how unfair it all is, the fact that he will forever be plagued by memories while Komaeda loses just as much as he makes, but it's hard to reminisce when he's reminded of all that can never be. ]

( he pauses, lifting a hand to run his hand through his own hair before speaking aloud. )

[ He sits up, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees and side glancing at Komaeda. "There's nothing stopping us from working together" dude, you can't even leave the school ]

...You really are doing your best with what you have, aren't you? [ Which is, a lot of the time, nothing. He pushes off his knees, stands and holds his hand out to Komaeda. ]

( what's wrong about doing things inside? well, there's a lot of wrong, and getting outside is probably important, but when they can go outside... watch out. )

( of course, his response to that is to stare as if he knows something, but not say anything at all. once that passes, it's like his mind registers a response that he can say. )

( komaeda chuckles softly, and rather than grabbing his hand, he places his jacket into it instead. rokkun did want that. ) There you go.

( i want you to know i was holding my dog when i first read this, and i was like "alisaie, what do i do" and my other dog started barking, so i had half the mind to make komaeda bark. luckily he's sane...

aw, look he's smiling, and despite how cute rokkun can be, komaeda's so sad about that lack of acknowledgement. maybe he sees it not a normal thing because he's surrounded by others who act... normal — except for the ultimates, they're special. )

[ Does he want to be normal? to be with everybody else? The smile on his face softens, twists, because that's not the question he asks himself. ( is it because of what komaeda said, or is he just that frustrated with himself of what he's unable to have? who knows. but you know what, he could probably ask for a hug to pick it out the other's pocket, but komaeda instead opts not to. he laughs, looking to the side as he attempts to slide away. he's too carefree, too curious about the hopes of the people around him, and whatever rokkun can do with these then maybe. )

I'll see if anyone is willing to give me others. ( that's all he says, ugh, being friends with a thief is a lot, but he'll see rokkun off if he's got what he wanted out of komaeda. )
