May 24th, he's back for the cultists

[Lucifer was told in the family meeting to go figure out what was up with the blood-paint situation going on between the cult and the art club and then mun forgot about that, died, came back, so here's Lucifer strolling up to his cult friends who he taught to summon a demon to say hello! Because he starts simple, you know, just a wave and a friendly smile like he's trying to catch up.

Actually he kind of... is trying to catch up with them? Just a little bit? How have the imps been treating them, did they have fun pranking the school?]

[ Their lives have been sort of ...hell? actually?? The imps apparently do not discriminate between those who summoned them and everybody else around them, and the little creatures have been going around terrorizing whoever they set their eyes on left and right? Is there a desummoning circle? Lucifer-senpai please ]

[Oh no, his poor cultists! Luckily, there is absolutely a spell for banishing such low-ranking demons from the school, and Lucifer is more than willing to teach them. Now no one can yell at him for being a gremlin, right? Haha.

but no seriously, he does teach them a spell to get rid of low-ranking demons. It requires an incantation but beyond that it's a simple process. He also goes ahead and explains to them what protective herbs they should be using in summoning because... you know, the witches need to do it and so do these kids. Go get some sage, bay leaves, and basil you fools, among other things.]

[ Thank you Lucifer-senpai. At some point during the week when Kokichi walks by they're going to try to banish him. It's practice! ]

[They're doing the Lord's work, kind of literally, and he's going to laugh his ass off if he catches it.

But that said, he's also here for a reason, and the reason is that he needs to find out what's up with the red paint situation. Whose blood are they taking? He's not going to rat them out to anyone, he's just curious and heard some rumours, that's all.]

Lucifer wants to know who specifically is volunteering, though. Good for you guys that you got volunteers! But also he'd like to know the whys and the logistics of this. Is there a blood drive somewhere? Should he be signing up for it—]

But no, there is no public blood drive for it. Lucifer is senpai! He doesn't need to be bothered with the menial task of blood collection or its logistics. Besides, they laugh and say they already have his blood. You know. As membership dues. ]

Oh okay they already have his blood? That's good, good for them! (what the fuck) When did he give it to them again? He's having a hard time remembering, actually. See, he hasn't had any caffeine today. He wants to double-check and make sure his membership dues have been paid properly, he says, you know... just in case, since his memory is shot to hell. :)]

[ Senpai... old man... Instead of humoring his questions, the cultists pitch in and buy him some canned coffee from the vending machines. What does he like? caramel latte? unsweetened nitro? he gets two of each, drink this and don't worry about membership dues, if he's in the club it's been taken care of ]

[Aww they're so sweet (what the fuck), thank you cultists, he loves the bitterest of bitter black coffees but he'll drink this caramel latte thing too, and he's glad to know he's paid his dues, which is something he says eloquently and absolutely does not let his confusion show on his face. That's unbecoming of the Avatar of Pride. This investigation is not going well but it's fine because he got coffee out of it.

Okay, one more (probably one more) question for them. Are they sure they don't need help finding volunteers for the blood drive? He knows he's senpai and old man and can't survive without coffee, but he also doesn't want his sweet cultists to struggle? They're His, legally. Like they're up to some shady shit but also they're listening to his instructions about how to summon demons and how to unsummon Kokichi, so he likes them.]

[ noooo I love that they love him, they want to make him proud and it's like... you know when you're doing something and you don't need help but the other person is just so eager so you find them something to help with because helping and being involved makes people happy? it's like that.

If there is somebody in the school with unusual blood and are willing to give some to Lucifer, could he collect a sample and bring it to club? They will make good use of it ]

[Oh unusual blood? Sure, he'll try his best to find someone, let's just pretend he's still in this for the investigation and not at all because they bribed him with coffee. (Demons are slaves to temptation, it's not his fault.)

Do they happen to have any supplies he should be collecting the blood in? You know how doctors have vials for the blood samples they take and such...]

[ They will give him a box of microcentrifuge tubes, each with a drop of clear liquid inside and they ask that when he collects a sample, give it a little shake to mix it together and put it on ice. ]

How exciting, thanks, he's going to go hunt down find some people with Unusual Blood™ and report back when the job is done. Also, he says thanks for the coffee too, because he's not a Rude Senpai.

And also if they need help in the future with further things, they know where to find him. He will be there to protect them, collect blood for them, teach them how to do more crimes, give them his wing feathers when he inevitably puffs up at a roomba and sheds a few... You know, the works.]
