[ This is like interacting with a two year old and telling them to use their words to express what they want and the two year old just huffs, Hiro's huffing is him staring at Komaeda for a moment and deciding that being ignored is a good thing actually any maybe he's too busy staring out the window at the hope tree to notice Hiro get up and make his escape out the room. ]

[commences]

( komaeda sees him out the corner of his eye so he does reach out to grab him, you know, like the responsible adult that he is, and then ... )

Are you really going to leave me, I'm not too sure what it is that you want.

( he had an idea, but who is komaeda if he doesn't make things difficult, and yes he's still staring outside. )

Then again, why would you want anything to do with someone as incompetent as me...

( there's a bit of laughter that leaves from him as he releases hiro, and then he holds out his hands to the other. one normal, and the other mechanical, these are komaeda's two hands, but there's nothing special about them. just a reminder of his mistakes from along time ago, but even then, he still thinks his choices were right — they were for hope after all. )

[ That's a very good question and he's going to ask himself that every day.

But he looks at both of Komaeda's open hands— normal, then mechanical, then back at the normal hand again, the latter of which he reaches out for and places the tip of his finger on the palm of the hand that can feel him trace out something like this, starting from the upper left with the first stroke being along Komaeda's life line, and ending in the upper right.

Then he steps back and turns away, because now he's going to leave him. ]

[commences]

( the light touch of hiro's hand dragging along komaeda's palm feels almost nonexistent, but there's a faint tickle here and there. the center of his palm is cold, and he wonders if that alone had drove the other off from making a complete piece, because as it is now, he's not too sure. he'll glance in his palm, staring to see if there's anything there, and it'll give hiro more time to make his escape.

the thought does pass through his mind to get up and follow him, probably pester what the meaning behind it is, but between the wisteria tree, and what was drawn in his hand, he's preoccupied. maybe hiro gets away... maybe it's his time. )
