( he slowly gets to his feet, taking a step forward so that he's no longer dealing with the handle pressed into his back. reaching back, he rubs his fingers over the area as he looks down at chiaki, this is a poor attempt to soothe the pain actually. as much as he appreciates her enthusiasm, he shakes his head as if she's not understanding what he's trying to convey. )

( the thing about komaeda is that he only helps people's "hope," but anything outside of that isn't really his business. sure, trying to help their relationship was one thing, but he was only giving his thoughts from what he say that one time. it doesn't stop him from following right beside her since he doubts she's going to budge from the idea anyway. )

[ She frowns a little, even if she wanted to say something about taking Izumi out, she moves around to stand in front of Komaeda instead of manhandling him from behind. ]

That's such a copout answer, Komaeda. Somebody with talent doesn't need your help; they've got talent. If they succeed, it's got nothing to do with you. And the talentless are doomed to fail so you don't even try?

They aren't doomed to fail, I believe that the talentless can bring about hope.

( he trusted a certain someone's sister, and even though she failed him, other people sure can try — it's why he's so hellbent on seeing what sort of hope that chiaki can bring about. ) It's why I believe you can help Sena-kun.

( it doesn't have to be anything big either, but i think it'd put a lot of things into perspective for him. even komaeda's not trying to pry in their relationship to ask for the specifics, instead he's trying to open that avenue for izumi instead. )
