Only when Natsume speaks does Kazuki look up and over at him, and until somebody icly brings him a mask, Natsume gets to see him with empty eye sockets and the scars of deep gashes on the side of his face. He turns his head a little towards the lavender that he can smell, then back up at Natsume. ]
