[ Kazuki, just trying to water his plants,

Well, there he is, shown in his human form as a man without his mask because ???Amami never asked npc-kun for one, idk, but it's his human face with no eyes in his eye sockets and the skin around them scratched apart and healed long ago.

He's watering the wisteria tree, and does not look over at Komaeda. ]

[commences]

( he takes a step closer, watching him water his plants once the light catches sight of him. he casts it away, looking in the area to see that... he's not there — who knew he'd get to meet more ghosts, but despite the silly notion of wearing a tail to catch his attention, he speaks up. )

Kazuki-san? You're the person I've heard so much about.

( he places the light back onto the gardener, taking a few steps closer as he leans forward, looking at the plants that are being watered. well, the tree. i joked with enh like they should have given him komaeda's gas mask so he'd look aesthetic and scary. )

...Hm. Can I touch you?

[ Oh please, if there's no replacement mask, Kazuki wouldn't mind wearing the gas mask. Imagine if you don't have spirit sight and you look out the window at night and there's just a floating gas mask circling the tree, this is why npc-kun doesn't come out at night.

anyways... Kazuki only looks up with he hears his name called, turning towards Komaeda as if looking at him despite not being able to. ]

Good evening. Are you asking permission, or questioning if you are able to?

[ Either way, he holds his hand out for Komaeda to touch. Komaeda will only pass through him, though, feeling cold air where a body would be. ]

[commences]

( wait, i got something even better: either the gas mask or this, i'll even regain it just so he's a floating skull head, because the image... is making me cry. npc-kun looks out their window and sees the skull head, and just faints. )

You're really polite, that means you must be very well trained...

( which, komaeda doesn't want to touch his hand, instead... he wants to touch the inside of his... void black eyes, which is kind of sad when it goes through... like a ghost. the cold doesn't bother him, it feels almost likened to his own skin, and so he smiles afterwards as if he's satisfied. )

The school's dog... how unfortunate, you shouldn't have let them win...

( sighs!! )

[ i'm crying, if this happens, npc-kun is going to find some way to reinstitute the barriers in the school so nobody can enter or leave through the doors and windows

also crying at the fact that Kazuki can't see or feel him reaching for his face so he just stands there and lets this happen ]

Who shouldn't I have let win?

[commences]

( npc-kun is basically why danganronpa happened is what you're telling me with the barred windows. )

Whoever made you the dog to this place... being attached, lacking your skull... it's pretty pathetic.

( he sighs, trying to reach out to him again, but failing since it's only cold air left behind. )

An ugly sight, ah... why don't we fix you?

( i can fix him. )

[ Most people can't see him anyways, and those that do should be asleep in bed late in the night. If mission 1 team had chosen Shinobu's hairclip or something of the sort, he would have been resigned to wear that clip for the rest of his days.

Being attached, in either sense of the word, was always his choosing.

He goes back to watering the plants. ]

Do you mean that big monster you turn into? Ahaha, you tried to eat Saihara-kun once, his hope shown beautifully because of you.

( he knows his manners. thinking about how komaeda came here for a reason but me and alice was talking on twitter and we had the same idea, and it made us cry, so i'm so sorry kazuki, please take this redirection of what i'm about to pull on him. )

You wore a mask before, so why not wear one now... Come now, Kazuki-san, I see you, and that means anyone could.

( komaeda keeps his light on the spirit, watching him water as he comes closer, staring at the tree. )

I bet you the souls in this tree would like it.
