It's not on my mind.

[ He's not going to dwell on his sins and think about them all the time. That's why he plays soccer, why he focuses on finding that hose and unraveling it and turning the faucet on to listen to the water run the length of it. ]

Do you blame yourself for what happened?

( that's a question he wants to ask as he remains settled on the ground, but he'll just crawl out from under the tree so don't worry... he can move!

but he don't have soccer, but he can kick komaeda instead? )

[ That's a good question. One he tries not to think about either as he approaches with the hose, sliding his thumb over the opening so that the water sprays out in a thin fan towards instead of a slow stream. He sort of waves it up and down like he's watering Komaeda. ]

...I wanted to hold onto you no matter what. I thought I could hold onto both— to survival, and to you. The blame doesn't lie with you. You can't have it.

( just hose him down, he's going to lift a hand over his face as it comes in a steady wave, but at least it look clear? isn't it not blood right now for him... it's cool, and he guesses he can appreciate it like some sort of dog. he knows this is something rokkun's been wanting to do since his birthday, so he can have it —

komaeda turns away at one point, peeling off the other's jacket just to hold it up so that he can block the water. )

[ He lifts the hose up to the sky, letting the spray fall directly overhead and if Komaeda's going to use his jacket as an umbrella, we'll see how long his arm strength will last. ]

[commences]

( as he's using it as an umbrella, he stares at his prosthetic — the one rokkun held, the one komaeda gained for his sins... for cutting off a piece of himself to accept despair. that's what the prosthetic is a reminder of, but had he held komaeda's other... the one that's been through everything, and not lost to that. who knows, maybe it doesn't matter. but rokkun makes it a "whose" and not the other hand that's different from the prosthetic, so komaeda will go along with it. )

Was there someone else you wanted at the time? ( he still has it up :/ he's not that weak... i say as i already know when he's giving up. ) Another hand that you wanted to hold... Amami-kun was there, to want the hand of an Ultimate... ( don't even mention komaeda. ) I never knew.

[adsum]

There wasn't. In my eyes, at that time, the only other person who existed was you.

[ Which is the point he was trying to make, walking closer and having to point the hose up higher and higher so the water will continue to fall over Komaeda's head like a little spot of rain. Amami didn't even register until he was on the floor, and Akira until he opened his eyes and saw red. ]

( he remains in place, placing rokkun's jacket around his shoulders so that he can drizzle as much water as he wants on komaeda's head. his white, fluffy locks of hair now stick to his face, making him seem a little normal than usual. he's drenched, but he looks up at rokkun before his eyes fall upon the hose, and leans back to catch some water in his mouth to drink.

as he listens, he hums in thought as his head cants to the side... does he really think he held the right hand? to test him again, he holds up both his hands to see which one the other will take to lift him up. )

When can we go to the woods?

( ... changing the topic so he can't confirm or deny rokkun's claim? yes he is. )

[ Close enough, he lets the hose drop at the base of the tree and if it drowns it drowns, he takes both Komaeda's hands because he can afford to be selfish. ]

We can elope now?

[commences]

In the woods?

( okay, he's a little confused, he wanted to go to the woods? his organic hand flinches, but the prosthetic one is perfectly fine. he's going to take his hands back if rokkun will let him, but they are wet so maybe... maybe... )

That's impossible.

[adsum]

[ It makes that gross sound of wet skin sliding on metal, but that just means Rokkun has to hold on tighter. ]

Why is it impossible?

[commences]

When you get married, they have to say your name... and you said they hold powers, you couldn't do that in these woods...

( he'll squeeze his hands a little tighter as if it'll help him remember. )

I want to go to them, though...

[adsum]

Marri— oh.

[ hm

He shifts a little uncomfortably, but doesn't let go. ]

...All it means is we're running away. [ to get married... ] It doesn't have to happen in the woods.

[commences]

...So you want to elope. ( to get married... ) ...

( komaeda's this close to correcting him, but he'll act like he doesn't know what rokkun's talking about. )

Do you want to run away with your partner in crime that bad... have we ran away before?

( maybe he should ask that, maybe rokkun has memories or something it... maybe that's why his suggestion to get away is eloping... )

[adsum]

Not successfully. Obviously, because we're still together.

[ ... ]

[commences]

Hm...

( he's thinking, his hands tighten to keep rokkun in place so he can survive off his shadow shade. )

I want to hear about our sort of-eloping... was it in the woods?

( "why the woods," he's been thinking. )

[adsum]

No. We went to Saransk and hid for a week amongst the bleachers of the Mordovia Arena before getting caught.

[ "why the woods" yeah why ]

[commences]

Yeah... sounds like something my luck would get me in.

( what in the fuck rokkun, why is he so obsessed with saransk.)

If we elope, we have to go to the woods.

( because rokkun's a nature boy. )

[adsum]

Why? Don't you want to get as far away from this place as possible?

[ Nature isn't just trees. There's rocks in Saransk too. ]

[commences]

You'll graduate if that's what you're talking about, and you'll leave us behind like you said.

( komaeda goes where hope goes, but he knows that hope will not remain here in this school. he's very much aware of that, but rokkun's never been able to read him, or even understand him properly other than what komaeda's straightforward about on purpose.

[ It's fine. Don't worry about it.

Saransk has rocks and ???plumbing and bugs maybe ]

[commences]

Hmmm...

( he's thinking... thinking. )

Nope. ( there goes that bored expression of his as he watches rokkun, wondering what he'll do.

? komaeda don't want to go there, he wants to go to the woods. chop, chop. )

You can't say no to my plan when you don't know what it is.

[ It's a good plan. It'll work. ]

( he can say no to his plan even if he doesn't know what it is. )
