He's easy to talk TO, but that makes him dangerOUS. ( Even if that's kind of the counselor's job... to be easy to talk to.... you know. ) I don't like him nor do I dislike HIM, but we'll see if subsequent sessions make me feel differently one way or the oTHER.

[ Depends on how their conversation goes... If Natsume decides to leave, the counselor will allow him to leave. If there's still unresolved issues but time runs out and it's 6pm, the counselor will invite him back the next day. Hiro had... a lot of unresolved issues... evidently because he never decided to end the sessions on his own accord and went for a solid month.

Natsume can infer things from Hiro's lack of talking...

( Whether this is because "he ran out of time so he gets an invite" or "he shanked someone," he's going to go back. Natsume pokes Hiro's cheek with his chopsticks, sighing. )

You spent a lot of time with him THOUGH. Do you like HIM?

[ He tilts his head away when he gets poked, lifting his eyes to meet Natsume's for a split second before dropping his gaze and shaking his head. He wouldn't go as far as to say he likes the counselor, even if he's grateful for certain things, but there's nothing on his face that suggests he dislikes or distrusts the counselor either.

Sometimes staff is staff. They're just doing their job. ]

I suppose that's norMAL. ( Though indifference isn't an unfamiliar look on either of the twins' faces...... They're just those kinds of people, especially Hiro. Maya's a little more expressive even if she likes to pretend she's not.

He probably... won't get any sordid details out of Hiro though, is he. Natsume forks over the other half of Chocolat's face and leans away, he knows when it's time to give up, and he likes Hiro, so. ) ...I know I said we could trade stoRIES, but it's alright if you don't tell ME. I just felt like I'd have to offer you something for listening to my troubles; I've been thinking myself into circles when I'm alone otherWISE.

He accepts Chocolat's face but instead of digging in, sets his chopsticks down so he can tap a finger to his chest and cup his hand next to his ear: he'll listen— he's better at it than talking, anyways, and besides, they're friends. That's what friends do. He thinks, maybe, and he understands how having nobody to talk to would make you stir crazy. ]

[ He mimes holding a bowl and eating something from it one by one with his other hand. This is his pantomime for counselor-kun. Not even Maya. He talks to the counselor. ]

[ He starts to nod when he hears the counselor's name, but then quickly shakes his head when Natsume keeps talking: you can see the counselor in other times too. He might not always open the door or invite you in, but Kouji is ...waves hands, nebulously in the hospital or something... and Hiro still went to counseling. ]

( "in the hospital or something" meanwhile maya is like "that dude is dead good for him" about to win her favor by taking kouji out permanently when he shows back up—

Were either you or Maya-chan involved in what happened to Sato-chan last YEAR?

[ clicks thread from start, they're eating lunch so Hiro looks down at his lunch and stuffs his mouth like that's an excuse for him to not talk, as if he would. ]
