The day she goes to get her birthday approved by the master of this school... or someone close enough to it, seeing as the principal isn't around.

I would like a birthday, please. I was told one must get permission to have one... If you would not mind.

[ Oh... What? Oh. Despite not really understanding, miss vice principal smiles at Elizabeth and beckons her to her desk. ]

Of course you may have a birthday. Do you have a date in mind already?

[ She's sure there must be one in the school documents somewhere, otherwise ]

April 23rd. But if it's your very first birthday, you'll want a date that's coming up soon, won't you?

Hmmm... An excellent point, but it can't be too soon. There won't be enough time for anyone to prepare a surprise birthday party for me if so. ( Maybe she'll ask Rika to throw her one. ) I wouldn't want it to get in the way of classes either... So some time after the testing period has concluded.

That's true... Some time towards the end of summer vacation sounds about right. Towards the beginning, may students visit family or travel, but towards the end of summer vacation they become listless. Coming together to celebrate your birthday would be a wonderful way of bringing your friends back together again!

Wonderful! Summer vacation ends... August 29th, so around then... ( big thinks. ) Perhaps the 21st. I quite like Saturdays. They've been very eventful as of late.

Students get excitable when the weekend comes along... [ or something like that ] Calendars tend to move the date along, though, so it wouldn't be a Saturday next year, or the year after that, or until it makes its way through the week. Is that alright?

[ Or should they remake the calendar system so Liz's birthday falls on Saturday and Saturday only ]

There are certain holidays that fall on particular days of the week, rather than simply the date, aren't there? ( She looks so excited. ) The third Saturday of every August shall be my birthday.
