SCHOOL
As of January 2022, students will find that the main school building looks like the dilapidated "void" version normally seen when fresh blood touches the school. The permadeath-if-you-fall-into-it Void is still present at the auditorium, but also appears scattered throughout the school; please refer to the maps below for further details.
It is cold enough to see one's breath, and while there is cool, fresh running water, the electricity does not seem to work. For the most part, the walls show signs of fire damage, old age, and general disrepair, while items inside the rooms appear worn and untouched for years, with empty desks and lockers and a bulletin board covered with tattered, yellowing paper. The bathroom mirrors show your character's normal, tired reflection, and breaking the mirrors here or any on one's person does not do anything but cut open your hand and make you bleed.
All characters are able to hear past midnight. It is still and quiet outside, as if the world were holding its breath.

1ST FLOOR

- ✽ Elevator: Does not exist. The old set of stairs up to the clocktower has returned.
✽ Lockers: Immediately past the main entrance are rows of lockers standing one foot tall, two feet wide, and one foot deep. Some of the lockers towards the right hover over the edge of the void, while others have broken off and have fallen in completely. Students visiting their lockers will find that their combination still works, but the lockers themselves are completely empty.
✽ Bulletin board: On the wall opposite the front door is a large bulletin board. Above the bulletin board is a wide plaque engraved with the school's name, "YOGEN HIGH SCHOOL" and the school's motto, "memento vivere," beneath. Old papers appear tacked up on the bulletin board, but there is no class roster or ranking to be seen. There is a large blood stain on the ground in front of where they would normally be.
- ✽ Faculty office: The faculty office consists of several chairs and tables, legs snapped and wood rotting away, and while the previously locked cabinets can now be opened, they are empty. The floor appears eaten away by the void where the vice principal's desk had sat.
✽ Janitor's closet: Found between the faculty office and the bathroom. Notably, it is stocked full of brand new cleaning supplies.
✽ Counselor's office: The room appears completely empty, with empty walls and bookshelves, and the desk and chairs having fallen away in the pockets of void that span the room.
✽ Principal's office: Much of the room has crumbled away into the void, swallowing up the desk and many cabinets. Of the remaining cabinets, characters can find worn out sheets of paper printouts of PDA forum logs dating back to the 1400s, but no recent than the 1800s. The room does not appear any warmer or colder than the rest of the school.
✽ Nurse's office: The office appears ransacked, empty bottles and broken glass scattered across the floor that hasn't been touched by the void. There are medical supplies and medication that can be scavenged, but are several decades past their expiration date.
- ✽ Student store: The door is open, and the room is empty. Shelves along the walls have been broken, and there is nothing on display for sale. A counter stands at the back of the room with empty drawers, and there is a faded red ribbon tied on the doorknob to the back room; the door opens with a squeal of rust, and the room inside is empty. There is no rock gacha.
✽ Vending machines: There is a set of vending machines next to the student store, filled with bottles of clean water. Holding a PDA up to the sensor does not register anything, but the glass can be broken and bottles taken. They do not restock.
✽ Library: Doubling as a study hall, shelves of books line the walls of the library while rows of tables are set up at the center of the room. The majority of the books are very old and fall apart at the slightest touch, covers sticky with dust and neglect. The void creeps along the wall in front of the windows, and all that's left of Haruka's shrine is splintered wood balanced precariously at the edge of the windowsill. Characters are able to speak freely inside the library, and can take what's left of the books without consequence.
✽ Auditorium: Completely swallowed up by the void. If a character lingers in front of the doors for too long, they may start to hear whispers beckoning them inside, a persistent l'appel du vide.
2ND FLOOR

- ✽ Classrooms: 3-A, 3-B, 3-C, 3-D, 3-E. Class 3-B no longer has a spider problem.
- ✽ Home economics: The entire right wing is dedicated to home economics, with separate rooms for cooking, sewing, and workshop. The 2nd floor right wing bathroom next to cooking room, the cooking room itself, and parts of the sewing room have disappeared into the void.
3RD FLOOR

- ✽ Classrooms: 2-A, 2-B, 2-C, 2-D, 2-E. A trail of void intermittently connects 2-C and 2-E.
- ✽ Art room: Gone.
✽ Music room: A grand piano stands in the middle of the room, keys yellow and sticky and strings badly in need of tuning, but it is still playable. Storage cabinets line the walls, but are all empty.
✽ Science lab: The door is open, but the anatomical model is missing. Like the nurse's office, it looks like it's been ransacked, the ground stained with spilled chemicals and shattered glass, all the equipment broken or rusted over. The air inside smells musty, like yeast, and it is noticeably warmer in this room compared to the rest of the school.
✽ Student council room: Also gone.
4TH FLOOR

- ✽ Classrooms: 1-A, 1-B, 1-C, 1-D, 1-E. A corner of 1-E is falling apart into the void.
- ✽ Hallway: Much of the hallway and rooms are gone, but of what's left, characters can see bits and pieces of burnt down walls, and a window at the very end of the hall just before the stairs to the rooftop. There seems to be something glittering on the windowsill; please contact me if your character would retrieve it.
OTHER

✽ Rooftop: Dusty and uncared for, just like the rest of the school. There are no railings around the perimeter of the rooftop, the garden is absent, and the left and right sides are separated by the clocktower.
✽ Courtyard: There is a large tree at the center of the courtyard, branches charred black and completely barren. The grass outside is yellow and brittle and slick with ice, and all other plant life appears dry and dead.
✽ Outside campus: On the far side of the school, there is a track and field, ball courts, an indoor pool building, and a small dormitory. The track is nothing more than packed dirt, but the only danger of stopping on the track is that of slipping on the thick sheet of ice that covers it. The courts do not buzz with electricity, and the fencing looks pulled apart and dented in some places, like when you're going too fast chasing after a ball and slam into the fence. The pool water appears dark green with algae, and the tiled walls and floor are all slick with mold. It's probably not healthy to stay inside very long.
✽ Dormitory: For the most part, the dormitory appears untouched, except the electricity does not work. Everything in the characters' rooms and common rooms remain as is, including the food in the kitchen and coffin by the fireplace. The paintings on the walls have their faces intact, calm and healthy, showing portraits of some familiar faces.
✽ Forest: A thick forest surrounds the perimeter of the school, and characters are able to walk straight out past the tree line. There is no wildlife anywhere to be seen or heard, and no mushrooms or berries or any edible plants to be found, but a river runs through the forest and can be followed away from and back to school. The forest seems to stretch on no matter how long one travels without ever reaching a crest, and there is nothing notable to be found in the forest aside from lots and lots of trees.
