She reports that they tried every door and window- and that they didn't break in but had been there since the end of the day despite their best efforts- but couldn't get anything to budge.

And then, nervously, Nene confesses that with how isolated they had been, it didn't feel like they were getting through to the rest of the world any other way, and that she... expected the same of the PDAs. But she's really, really sorry for not trying, because even if it was scary she should have!!
