( #littletransferstudentthingz... which is his way of explaining that it's "things that will make you look at me like i'm insane" without actually setting off the look. or, well, that's what he's going for. )

[ What is the junk, they know Komaeda has money, he has no reason to pawn things.

[ "That sounds like you. A failure." This is what he's getting out of it, quiet, looking over at Komaeda and watching his expression.

Adams-san has everything else, however, but she won't pawn the rocks and rags, they're useless.

We're in the middle of a meeting!

[ Muffled, it's a boy's voice that answers, because hello??? stop doing this during a student council meeting. Either leave it at the door or come back later, like reasonable people. ]

They're getting by, but I think all of this is starting to wear on them too. The year's going by pretty fast, and we still haven't figured out much that can help us.

I see, I was wrong on that. Let's go through the story one more time...

( that's komaeda's narration which he said isn't right... okay, god, but the symbolism is what's important. )

At the start, we were in the darkness... lights all around us as we moved further, and those same lights were used to slow us down. Not knowing where to go... to have a guide... darkness is normally used to convey negativity — evil, death, unknown...

( he pauses, looking towards rokkun as he stares at his eyes... )

Those lights could be life, good... and hope.

[commences]

( this sort of information is sensitive, and yet, he doesn't know if telling her will help or break her more. from the questions she gives him now, he smiles softly, and laughs. )

Don't think about it too much, you're what you believe yourself to be. ( ... ) You're alive, Stephanie, we all are.

( here in yogen anyway, and then they're capable of dying. he turns the dial though, acting on his own accord to throw off the conversation: )

I can stab myself if you want to see a death to check whether you're alive or not!

( and he opts out for her sanity, to keep her hope strong. )

You're pawning off evidence?

[ Don't do that until you solve the murder??

... ]

I'll take your stuff, if you can get her to give me the rocks.

[commences]

...Yes, because I believe in their hope.

( besides, they're going to come to npc-kun anyway, so if all the stuff is with them... it would make the game too easy, that's true. )

I want to see how far they'd go to figure out the culprit, and learn who the victim is... It makes me tingly inside knowing that another murder has happened...

( he bites down on his tongue, looking off to the side... ugh he must look bad, he's trying to calm down!! ) The rocks are also evidence...

[commences]

( not her leaning, and he's going to try not to fall over on purpose... it's tempting. )

You shouldn't say things like that, I'll end up disappointing you again... In a couple of days, I want to have this conversation again.
