CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Stephanie Meanswell
Canon: Lazytown
Canon point: Post-Mystery of the Pyramid
Age: 10
History: link

Personality:

Stephanie is marked by her confidence and optimism. She has complete confidence in her optimism: When those around her have given up, and even when she herself finds it tempting, she remains convinced that there will always be a way out. She has a tendency to try to see the best in people, but has a healthy suspicion of those who have treated her poorly in the past. (She generally susses out Robbie pretty quickly when he's not in disguise. It's just when he is in disguise that everyone becomes all, "Ah, yes, that's a dinosaur. This is normal.")

More than anything, Stephanie wants to help those around her; she's a superhero in training, after all. Her determination to help can sometimes become overbearing, especially if the helped person doesn't actually want helping. She has some busybody tendencies, and can be a bit nosy, spying and listening in on people. Her relative maturity means she's generally the leader in her group of friends (if not her entire town), often acting as mediator and spokesman. She's also pretty handy as back-up rescuer for her accident-prone town; she's quick on her feet, and good at problem solving. She is assertive, and used to even adults taking what she says into consideration.

Stephanie likes structure in life, to follow recipes and play games by rules. She's a fastidious journaler, and writes down everything that happens to her in exacting detail. However, she also has a rule that she only writes down nice things; annoyances and irritations still exist, but they have no place in her chronicles. Her compassionate nature means she's also a bit sensitive, and she takes what others say to her, or about her, to heart.

Also, she sings. A lot. About everything. And every song has a dance. That counts as an integral part of her personality.

Powers/abilities: Has all the athletic prowess of a preteen gymnast.

Questions:
✽ What does your character consider to be their top three strengths?
Stephanie would never say what her actual strengths are (compassion, intelligence, determination), because she is a child and thus not entirely self-aware at this point. If asked, she would say she's a good singer, a very good dancer, and a very, very good friend.

✽ What do others consider to be your character's greatest weakness?
She is frightfully stubborn. She's a bit like a dog with a bone; once she has her mind set on something, it's impossible to budge her attentions. This is fine when it's applied to, say, dancing, or building a treehouse, but it becomes less fine when it's her deciding she knows what's best for someone else's life.

✽ What are your character's three greatest fears?
Being left behind by her friends. This is related to a generally fear of abandonment; she has a very low tolerance for loneliness, and becomes distressed enough when her friends are mad at her that it pings a magic item specifically designed to notify about danger.

Also, heights. Not great with heights.

✽ What would your character choose for a last meal?
She would like to think it'd be something healthy, but it would definitely be an entire cake with strawberries on it.

✽ Has your character ever killed? If so, how did that affect them? If not, how would it affect them?
Yes, Stephanie has taken several lives in the heat of battle - ahaha, no, she is baby. She hasn’t even seen a dead person before; she lives the sort of idyll where mortality isn’t even a presence in her mind. She wouldn’t be able to forgive herself if she hurt someone by accident; if her actions actively led to the death of another, even if in self-defense, she'd never really get over it.

✽ If your character was given one selfish wish (eg. must be applied to themselves and not affect others), what would it be?
To actually be accepted into a prestigious dancing academy, allowing her to pursue her dream of being a famous dancer. (She could wish to just be a famous dancer, but she knows she'd appreciate it less if she doesn't have to actually work for it.)
