When Sidney checks his PDA, he will see that his homeroom is 1-C, his locker number is 115, and his student ID number is 333329. The inside of his left wrist bears the number 2 in tally marks, looking as if they were scratched into the skin. The marks are neither painful nor bleeding, but are sensitive to the touch, as if the skin is in the process of healing— and will never fully heal.

Sidney opens his eyes to the white ceiling and curtains surrounding the bed in the nurse's office, head throbbing and throat dry and all the lights around him being too bright and makes him close his eyes again— his canon memories come back to him in this moment, but pass quickly in a wave of warmth and nausea that is partly due to remembering two lives at once, and maybe also partly due to the flask he has in his back pocket. The flask is about the size of his palm, and is still completely filled with Everclear; on one side there's a panel that opens up to reveal a compass, of which the needle consistently points to the clock tower.
