FORMAT

Please create a toplevel in this post upon acceptance, as it will double as both AC and as a point of contact for in-game ...surprises :]

The top-level must include in the subject line: player name, character name, canon
Underneath the toplevel, create a blank comment with the subject line: "contact"
For AC each month, create a comment with the subject line: month year

Please refer to the mod posted toplevel below for an example.

AC REQUIREMENTS

Threads must be started in the current month to count for AC. Full AC includes:

✽ One open post or toplevel AND one thread on a different post with at least 5 comments;
✽ OR at least 10 comments across 2 threads;
✽ AND a write-up of what the character has discovered about themselves, another character, or the setting.

Character accepted in the last two weeks of the month are exempt from that month's AC, but must still include a write-up, however brief. Characters on hiatus need only mention it in the subject line and link their hiatus comment. There is no strike system.

At some point after the end of the game but before she leaves the school, Aiko Okane will revive. When she does, she'll seek out Nene to thank her for all that she did for caring for her in death, and for putting her soul at peace. The stern demeanor remains, the hesitance about transfer students, but she'll be able to acknowledge that they're capable of changing things for the better.

Nene will ask if they can be friends in the next life, and tell her that trust... can be so terrifying. Trusting people not to hurt you. To not hurt your loved ones. To not hurt themselves. ... But it can be worth it too. To find the people you love most, to find joy in the smallest things... to care for strangers, even long past. It's hard. But it's important. Both for working with others but in finding your way through the hardest times.

She's not sure she's saying what she wants to properly. Words are hard.

Would Aiko like to plant some flowers? Nene will teach her.

It's a frightening thing to trust indeed, and she herself isn't the best at articulating words so this would likely be a difficult conversation with her, but she would agree that she hopes that they can find and befriend each other in the next life, and that wherever she finds herself Nene will find happiness - that all of them will. It's more subtle with her since she has a rough personality, but Nene is sensitive enough that I'm sure she'd be ale to realize that she genuinely cares about others and has just had her heart hardened by the school's culture.

Aiko will hesitate a bit, but she'll accept Nene's offer; after she leaves, Aiko will maintain the gardening club in her steed. She'll plant alstroemeria in her honor - flowers which represent are associated with friendship but also represent bonding through adversity. Their six petals represent empathy, understanding, humour, commitment, patience and respect.
