So normally in Genshin canon, a Gnosis is what's used to grant a god... Godhood, basically. It resides in an Archon's chest and allows them to resonate directly with Celestia, which in turn boosts their power and grants them divinity. It's like a Vision but Supersized, essentially.
But Childe isn't a Geo user, so it would be essentially useless to him anyway, and considering there's no Celestia here to resonate with... Basically I would just like for Childe to have a really fancy looking chess piece that does absolutely nothing. Maybe it glows if you shake it? That's it. He deserves to hold it at least once considering the lengths he went to try and steal it, and also because he's petty. He's going to use it as a paperweight. Please Ori.
